This company is a scam. I was given a voucher for 3 car experience as birthday gift. I called the week it was to expire to schedule my time. I was told that the experience I had was not going to offered anymore so I could only do 2 cars, I said that was ok since I was scheduling for followering month. Then I was told the weekend I wanted might not happen because of a race in area, no problem I said. They were going to check and call me back. That didn't happen. I called again a week later, went through whole thing about voucher again, the man pretended to have no idea what I was talking about. But said I could schedule but they were full for that month call back in month. I did that, same thing. This repeated a few times and every time the man played completely oblivious to who I am or the situation. Called in October/ November man said "we will open scheduling again in December. Called today, he again acted like he had no clue what I was talking about and said "you're lying, I never told you to call back we've been reopen for months and have experiences every weekend we've never canceled anyone." I went back and forth explaining I've been calling for months, he said "nothing i can do about your voucher" So their scam is to collect the money from vouchers, run you around if you're anywhere close to expiration date then refuse to honor it. Terrible experience so far. I booked a 2 vehicle 90min driving experience with them in October for my bf's birthday. I had a hotel, and whole trip planned around the experience. They cancelled on us a couple days before stating "computer troubles" with the car. This ruined our trip, but we rebooked for November. Again they cancelled us the day before stating computer troubles from the weather conditions (!?) We rebooked for January and again they cancelled stating all the lead drivers caught covid. We're moving states and don't want to waste our time if it gets cancelled again so I asked for a refund. They told me I would get it within 5 days. It's been past that and I'm still waiting. Horrible, unreliable service. Avoid this because you'll most likely lose money and waste your time. Update: After waiting for 2 weeks for my refund I never got it, called back and now they say it would take 30+ days (?!!). I ended up filing a compliant with BBB, reported a fraud with the FTC and worked with my credit card company to file a dispute and get a chargeback. Bought a 2 HR Napa tour as a gift for my guy. We scheduled a week in advance for a Saturday. The overall experience was phenomenal!!! We were lucky enough to have a lot of the upgraded cars: Ferrari Italia 458, lambo gallardo, lambo huracan, and mclaren mp4-12c. They also had the Ferrari f430 but not for demo. You get to ride 3 different cars thru the local roads. We had those babies going @ 100mph at some points . Just incredible being able to drive these supercars. Our guide, Thomas was fun. Some pointers: bring proof of insurance covering 100k in damages. Thankfully, my husband and I were covered. But the other two groups had to call their insuramce on the spot to change the policy. They charged extra for driving the mclaren. And extra for two ppl to drive. For being expensive as it is, I didn't like the "nickle and diming" part. I wish they had mentioned all of this prior to coming - maybe in the confirmation email. They also changed our start time the day before to 9am instead of 12pm, but we appreciated that due to less traffic while we were cruising. I'd recommend earlier than later now. read more

Will only allow scheduling up to ~1 week prior and may remove availability at the last minute without verbalizing to interested customers. Would not advise interacting with this company whatsoever. I purchased a Groupon to surprise my husband for one weekend we would be in Napa early July. Have been trying to book since mid-May but received deferments via multiple emails and phone calls stating they would return call when "bookings opened". Told today on 6/29 that manager will be out-of-state and this is the only weekend that they would not be able to offer the experience for the monthly of July. These guys are great! Can't say enough good things. A wonderful view combined with the exotic cars. That's in every guy's wet dream. It's an opportunity to ride in a dream car! My girlfriend, and I were given the passenger seats of the Ferrari F430 and the Lamborghini Gallardo. A Naturally Aspirated sound of the engine and exhaust in the back is what every man needs to experience! The cars were nicely clean, and the drivers gave us a great explanation of the cars we were riding in. Even being a car guy myself, and I am very impressed. We did visit a winery, and the views of Napa is just breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this whole experience to my friends with youngsters that's growing up. Every once in a while a business far exceeds your expectations. For me, CaliSpeed is one of those companies. My eleven year old son and I took the two hour driving tour of Napa. From the very first moment we were greeted with a warm smile. Not long after we were given a brief introduction to the Red Ferrari F430 we'd start out in, and were off. Being a gear head, I was a bit concerned we'd be led around the valley on flat boring roads, caught behind slow tourists and grinding my teeth for more. Nothing could be further from the truth. Once we got out of town we stretched the cars a bit and then were led down a perfectly deserted side road where a photographer, riding with the pace car, could get rolling shots of each of the drivers in their cars (well worth the price for the memories). The photographer didn't stop our progress. It just happened naturally as we were heading down the road, with him leaning out the window in a well planned part of the trip. That taken care of, we snaked between vineyards, through rolling hills with amazing views and sights all around. The roar of of the Ferrari's engine bellowed behind us as we soaked in the moment. My son and I couldn't stop laughing and smiling at the excitement and fun we were having. We pulled into a picturesque vineyard and stepped out of the cars we'd been in. We took a moment to switch cars and give the photographer a chance to take a few more still shots. I'm no model and when he suggested some ways to stand next to the yellow Lamborghini Gallardo LP-560 Spyder which made me feel less awkward and look a heck of a lot cooler, I was grateful for the suggestion and attention to detail. A true professional. The best part came next. Our pace car driver then came by and told us the photography was done. The next bit was going to be some really good roads with curves. Boy what an understatement. The roads they took us on were Epic. 15 mph hairpin blind corners (taken *a bit quicker* than we were supposed to) followed by undulating straightaways. A mountainous road with a sheer drop-off cliff on one side and trees whizzing by on the other. Our hair was blasted by the wind curving over the windshield with the top down as I punched the throttle between curves. If the Nurburgring is known as "The green hell" for all its change-ups and turns, this bit of road was surely its stateside cousin. My son was literally shaking with adrenaline and laughing like a mad scientist at how much fun we were having. I just might have been giggling uncontrollably myself. At the bottom of the hill we found our last change out and switched to the Silver Lambhorghini Superleggera. The contrast from the heavy drop-top to the lightweight racing spec was immediately apparent. The difference in driving experience was a new form of variety and our senses explored a whole new version of reality as our necks snapped backwards during acceleration in a way that was unlike anything offered in either of the previous two cars. Wow. What a machine. Coming back to the parking lot we left from, I realized just how quickly the two hours went by. Change outs between cars were efficient. The course was varied and the cars each brought a different experience to our time. The photographer gave us mementos to hang our memories on. Everything was very well orchestrated. A total package. Great experience and great staff. The company had to short notice cancel a drive I signed up for due to one of the cars being in the shop. They set things straight and when I had to cancel my re-scheduled drive due to work, they worked around it. Really happy with the customer service I experienced before the drive. As for the drive, it's what I expected. Driving a Ferrari F430 and Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is pretty damn cool. The drive is spirited, the route they lead you on is solid and allows you to really get an idea of how these cars behave on the streets. Whether you're looking to maybe purchase one of these machines or you're just checking this off your bucket list, I recommend checking this out. Awesome gift for the car lover in your life. Also, you're allowed take as many photos/videos as you like and they even provide photography from a moving car and at the stops to swap cars, cool. I had the same issue with this company! I called to schedule close to the expiration date of my voucher, but it was not expired yet, and they told me they were booked and to call back in two weeks. When I did, the person on the phone acted like this was shocking news and no one would have told me to call back, but he is the same person that always answers the phone, and he is the one I spoke to. I asked to schedule, and he told me that they were booked and that I would have to wait until the following month, which would be after my voucher expired. When I asked what that would mean for my voucher, he said its fine. I had to push for them to take my name and contact information, but it seemed like he wasn't writing anything down. I could tell them they were probably a scam and I was going to have an issue. I called several times trying to get this scheduled and straightened out but like other review, they would not help me! You can't leave a review on LivingSocial or Groupon unless you went to the event, so people aren't able to warn others about this scam! I'm working with the third party now to get a refund. Save your money, they are nothing but scammers trying to get a quick buck. If this happened to you too, file complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

They called back and said they had scheduling problems and will not be able to come to Sonoma until 1130 am. They were very rude on the phone during this interaction. They were also very rude when they brought the car. We didn't have time to do two appointments after 1130 am so used only one Groupon. Thankfully Groupon refunded us back for the appointment we didn't use. So this complaint is not about the money. It is about their lack of customer service and arrogance during interactions. The ride was a Valentine's Day gift to my husband and he enjoyed it sooo much! I think it was the best gift I ever gotten to him because he felt like a kid in a candy store. We picked Napa location so we could enjoy dinner and wine tasting afterwards. On our phone call, you simply kept rudely interrupting me and talking over me instead of listening to me describe the way in which your company made it all but impossible for me to schedule a service for which you already collected full payment back in December 2017. So friendly and a blast to spend time with. You spend about 30 mins in each car- they give you opportunities to drive very fast! DO NOT BUY. I cannot express this enough. Save your money and energy. Here is the timeline of the ongoing awful customer experience I endured: I bought the groupon for an auto-experience in Malibu. My Husband and I took the day off work & booked a hotel up in Malibu to enjoy the experience. The night before our driving experience we received a text message stating our experience has been cancelled due to "weather". Not a phone call, but yes...a text. Calispeed has a strict cancellation policy, yet they feel they are at liberty to cancel us last minute after we have already booked a hotel and taken time off work. The following day it was beautiful, sunny, and in the low 80's....not sure what "weather" interfered. We called to reschedule, and here is where it really gets good. The company informs us they are "booked for the next 2 weeks & have not released dates passed that yet, Call back". 2 weeks later, I get the same response. 2 weeks later, I get the same response. 2 weeks later I get the same response. This has been ongoing since March of 2019 (10months)...It's now January 2020. Eight months into this timeline, I was frustrated. When I called, I reiterated my experience. The guy on the phone said they no longer have dates available in my area, but have been told by the manager to postpone the timeline by saying 2 more weeks. The man offered the manager's email for me to request a refund. I emailed the manager in December, 2019. ******NO response************ Today, January 2020...I call again. Still, there are no dates available. I ask to speak with the manager, since he has not responded to my email. The customer service agent said, "Oh, what email do you have?". I shared...he responds, "Oh, let me give you another email because no one is using that right now". Well great....I am so glad they gave an upset customer an inactive email...that was helpful. I email the new email this morning, and the manager calls me. He says the car location close to me has closed and there are no more dates available. I am not sure when they were planning on sharing this information with their customers who have already purchased their product. I ask for a refund, and the man says "Oh, you purchased a groupon, so they have your money and you have to call them". No apology, no understanding, no help at all. This man did not offer any codolences for the circus of a disaster I have been through with his company. My favorite part was when the manager said to me, "We haven't had dates since September of 2019...why did you wait so long to call?" I wanted to scream. Never have I been so frustrated. Wow! Calispeed delivered one of the most exciting experiences in my adult life! I saw their booth at the Roseville Galleria and I was immediately giddy at the prospect of driving a Lamborghini and Ferrari. In a heartbeat, I booked the 1.5 hour/3 car Napa tour, and was not disappointed. I drove the Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari F430 and the Lamborghini Gallardo - Superleggara (my favorite). The staff was extremely accommodating in helping my wife and I find a mutual date that worked with our schedules. On the date of the driving tour, my lead driver, Guy, led our tour through the winding roads from Napa to scenic Lake Berryessa. We stopped periodically to take pictures, talk about the differences between the 3 cars, and switch vehicles. The cars were extremely well maintained (my biggest concern) and the course selection was perfect! By the end of the tour, I had a smile which was plastered on my face for the rest of the week. Well, I should start saying that it was a birthday present to my boyfriend and we booked the trip for September but then it was re-scheduled by the owner 4 times, so by the end we were already sick and tired of the waiting, we just wanted to be done with it. Each time we prepared for the trip in advance, cancelled all other plans, booked a hotel in Napa, only to be called, sometimes just a day before our trip, and told they were rescheduling us. By the end it became so pathetic, like when they called a week before the scheduled trip to move us to a later time because "it rained often at that time in the area". What the hell does that supposed to mean? Rain? In Napa? Needless to say, the forecast for the whole week was excellent and there was not a single second of rain. They just couldn't come up with a smarter excuse to push us to a later time for some other client. They were practically laughing to our face. And then we were given 1 car even though I paid for 2. It wasn't our choice, they made the choice for us without even asking us. It was a 2-hour trip instead of 1.5 with only 1 car, but that's not what we wanted or what we agreed to. I definitely don't recommend dealing with these people, their customer service is a joke, totally unprofessional and rude. read more

They emailed me back saying they needed more information from me to verify that I am who I say I am (okay, fair enough). I called them back to verify only to find out they lost my reservation altogether. I was a little upset because I had planned our entire weekend around this ONE experience. I got the reservation back and actually got an email confirmation. Then, two days before my reservation they call me to let me know they're canceling all events this weekend because it may rain. At the time I was going to college so I planned on redeeming the coupon three months later while I was home for spring break, but i was told that the local track was being repaved and that in an additional three months it would be brand new. I waited, but unfortunately, my family moved out of the area. To my luck, the company had a track near my new hometown. I planned on going there but that was a disaster. I called the company nearly every week for a few months and I was constantly told that they did not have access to the track, and on top of this, calls were only accepted on weekends which made it very hard to book, and customer service wasn't the best. Not only this, but next thing I know that location was taken off of their website and I had no other options. I ended up not being able to book a slot and lost out on the money originally paid. This was a somewhat poor experience. I still was driving a Ferrari 458 Spyder, but it was at a parking lot marked out with small cones. Very small track which limits speeds severely. I think there are better experiences out there at competitive rates. The people were nice though. read more

We had a horrible experience with this company which ended awful for my kids who gave my husband this gift! We were cancelled 3 times and every time a different excuse was used. The first time we planned a whole wknd around it and had hotel booked and everything. We were notified the day before. By the third time the man who owns it said he would refund but we had to go call Groupon and tell them we never used it and tell Groupon to call them. Unfortunately Groupon has no customer service u can call. U can only talk to a bot! So my son was given a credit only on Groupon for the expensive amount of nearly 400. I don't know the exact amount because it was a gift. I'm sure my son will never use that credit because as it turns out Groupon stinks also. Basically they stole this money from my kids! I'm sick about it. Horrible! This business will not be around much lineages. Do not use or buy as a gift!! And don't use Groupon either. So upset for my kids that they lost this money!!! read more

Excited and called in to ask question about my kids birthday ride in a Ferrari. Pricing, booking, safety, waivers etc. (Very fitting questions). The guy who answered the phone was very rude, short and condescending as if new customers are a waste of his time. Sad as the customer, I took the bigger roll choosing to remain calm and professional when in actuality, I did not have to accept that. NOT A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION!!!!! The only time he expressed a nice tone was when i stated, the price is a great price (go figure! ).Will try calling other companies! (Even if they cost more). Wouldn't want/trust my kid with them anyways with that attitude. UPDATE: Left review above and 30 minutes after they closed for business, the same person tried the number that just called them. Of course it rang to me and he began to argue with me about this yelp review that I just left minutes ago. It was so strange. This could be considered harassment. Got the opportunity to drive Supercars. The prices were very affordable and the experience was great. Bought the gift certificate during Christmas time and I barley had the time to use it this past 2 weekends ago. The process to sign up was easy. I paid through PayPal and then I was able to schedule my times when I was free. When I got to autocross parking lot area the line was short and I got to drive the cars of my choice. I drove a 700 HP GTR and I also got to drive a red Lamborghini Gallardo. The cars are out of this world and I would definitely recommend this experience to all my friends and family. They also have other cars to choose from. They have Ferrari's and other Lamborghinis. They also let you drive your own car and it's a cheaper price. For those that are wondering you do have a professional driving instructor in the car with you as well. If you pick a car with backseats you can also do a ride along. This event usually takes less than an half an hour to finish. Be prepared for a very thrilling experience. The age limit is 18 for autocross and then 25 for the longer trips I believe. They have multiple locations for these events as well.My event that I attended was in Stockton. They really need to find a place near San Jose!
