Worst. Shop. Ever. I paid almost $2,000.00 to have my gas tank replaced due to a vandalism. My…read moretruck is from California so there's no rust, but they charged me for the tank, straps, fuel pump, and they recommended they change the fuel pump sensor because it has almost 200,000 miles on it and since everything was already apart, I said, "Go ahead." They also replaced the side mirror, but when I got it back, the door was a mess. It's actually a simple procedure to replace the mirror, by taking the door panel off, but it was a mess when I got it back. I had to take it back and have them do it all over again. Meanwhile, my truck kept stalling while in operation and the oil cap was stuck on there... me and three grown men couldn't get it off after leaving their shop, including AutoZone. Also my locking gas cap isn't working the same. Cameron said that he was going to charge me AGAIN to look at the reason why my truck keeps stalling while in operation and I hit the roof. Then he said he would charge me if it wasn't his fault, leaving me vulnerable to another pathological lie, to look at it. So then when I took it to another shop, they replaced the oil cap for free, I only paid for the part, then, on the way home, my check engine light came on so I went back to AutoZone and the code says it's the fuel pump sensor. Cameron said that AutoZone doesn't know what they're talking about. So I contacted some other mechanics and they said that the fuel tank needs to be dropped again to get in there and replace it. So I have to start all over again, get it towed, drop the tank, which is now 3/4 full. I haven't had use of my vehicle since the beginning of the year. I've filled a small claim against them, but so far, Cameron hasn't stated that he's going to show up. Zach did. And Cameron also told me to never come back, and I'm blocked from all Protech websites. So he's completely disregarding the warranty and is really such a sheister, obviously. Really bad place. Never again will I allow those morons to touch my vehicle. I hope the court gets my money back for the parts, labor, and aggravation. According to Pennsylvania law, I'm supposed to get back treble damages and the Bible says seven-fold, so I hope so. I have a small farm and I need my truck. I can't even go to church without it. Really bad place.

I said ok I called yesterday. He says "well you can just get the f*** out for wasting my time" and im like "whoa buddy i dont know what the issue is. I dont see any other cars here." He says "i expected you to be down here and I didnt schedule any other work because I thought you would show up and now you wasted my time and my money" i told him "yeah I understand how that could be frustrating but i didnt think it was a firm appointment, you didnt really make it seem like it was set in stone" and he just proceeded to tell me that i should have just picked up the phone (he never even tried to call me if that were the case) and he basically just told me to get the f*** out and that he wouldn't work on my car. Funny enough this is the second time I tried to take my car here. The first time I tried doing business with him he treated me like an idiot on the phone and was very belittling, BUT he did a diagnostic on my car and helped me get to the bottom of an issue i was having. He never did any work on my car so I cant speak to his mechanic abilities but WOW is his customer service skills terrible! Dude has some anger problems and no wonder why his car lot is empty every single day when I drive by. You dont get customers by treating people like garbage.

Richey's bill included additional fees like the PA tire disposal fee and a fee for removing the old tires. Standard fees should be part of the original quote as a basic basis of doing business. The person at the front desk needs to provide accurate quotes and adjust when quotes are made in error.

Long story short- they gave me a full detailed estimate for everything- detailing all parts and labor. Once the car was in, they updated my progress throughout the day (with pics!) and they completed all the work in one (long) day. Final price was almost the exact estimate, plus a fuel cleaner, extra fluid and a small 'shop supplies' percentage. Upon driving the car out, I could feel immediate improvement and even picked up improved gas mileage (noticed on a 350 mile drive the next day- finished with just under a 1/4 tank remaining). It's literally has no more low-rpm vibration/rough idle and is smooth across the full rev range. I waited 50K to perform this service and will definitely be back every 30K from here on out. Money well spent if you love your Subaru.
