We only asked for a refund for the work we found problems with, which was roughly 1/3 of the cost we paid for all of the work that they did.

As a woman, I've felt uncomfortable being alone with or I've been condescended to by other contractors. I never felt this way with Elias and his team. That's worth a lot to me. We hired Quality Construction to install drywall and insulation in our basement. It was done fast and they did a good job. He was accommodating when we had to have them break for an electrician to come in. It was done in about three days. One of the guys accidentally broke a lamp and Elias offered to reimburse us for it. Because of Darren, we do it every day! Darren refinished a ~30 year old hardwood floor that had yellowed, shown wear from traffic, had missing pieces of wood, and damage from chemical spills. From the very first time I reached out, his communication was excellent. He visited our home to see the floor, take measurements, and recommend and explain a refinishing process. Darren gave us options for type of polyurethane, colors, finish (matte vs. gloss) while offering recommendations from his many decades of experience. Within several hours we had a very fair quote and were booked several weeks out. Darren spent a few days on property and was incredibly respectful of our home and us when we would ask a question or two. They were very tidy using drop cloths on the carpet and cleaned up after themselves; unlike a lot of handymen/ contractors. Our staircase not only looks better, but is as solid as a rock and not all wobbly like it was before.
