I had a large front porch aggregate floor replaced with brick but it was a much bigger project than they later admitted they usually do. This caused me a lot of frustrations: 1) They didn't spend much time reviewing project. They didn't give me a written quote. 2) Once the front porch was opened up more tuck pointing & fill was needed to fill the opening so they wanted $3000 more than verbal quote they gave me to continue work. 3) Told me no subs used when in-fact actual brick layer was a subcontractor. 4) I personally rejected some of the brick they got from Shade & Wise but they didn't like it and bricklayer slipped some in on the job when I wasn't looking. 5) They chipped off a large corner of base of column holding roof up and wouldn't fix it - so I have to fix myself. 6) Said they will guarantee their work (nothing in writing) but in 15 years will they be around and remember? In summary my experience with ProForce wasn't a walk in the park as too many unknowns they should have foreseen as they are the experts - not me. Michael appeared vocally to be concerned about my disappointments of the chipped base corner but didn't resolve or correct. Throughout the project I had to be at site to figure out what was going on and make sure I was getting a quality job. My suggestion is don't assume anything if you hire them and don't be timid or hesitant in getting your questions answered. It's your money and your house.

When Jordan and his team showed up, it was all business. They were all very professional and friendly and they made sure everything looked perfect before they left. Because of our sloped driveway that leads to our detached garage, I was genuinely concerned about water drainage off the property and not into my garage. They handled the grade with precision and it literally rained for two straight days (over 2 inches) and not a drop of water came near the garage! An answer to prayer really. Highly recommend Jordan and his team for your asphalt or paving needs. AAA+++

I spoke with Walter on 8/7 about a bathroom that needed a ceiling. We met at the house the same afternoon, and by 8/12 the project was completed. It was very time-sensitive as I had guests coming from out of town but they made it happen. Their reliability, communication, honesty, efficiency was completely amazing and I will use them for everything I need done in my property going forward. Liv Construction began work on Dec. 26, 2024 and finished 56 days later. I've waited to give a…read morereview to see how everything held up. It was a renovation of the kitchen, living area and bathroom, HVAC and On-demand Hot Water. Plus some outside work - pouring a concrete pad for gazebo and RV Port. While I personally like everyone that we worked with, we did have some problems during construction. Demolition workers almost removed the support beam to the house before my husband asked them to stop and check with contractor. Each time we brought a concern to the foreman, the answer was always the same, "What do you want me to do?" The answer was always the same, "I want you to fix it." This included: Kitchen cabinets that were installed 2 inches from the ceiling. Kitchen island was off center and was only fixed when my husband measured and showed them the discrepancy. The concrete pour for the gazebo was not framed correctly and needed a second pour of concrete. One corner is still not square. The joint between the pours is now cracking and the owner has stopped communicating. Concrete overflow was scattered in the far backyard and was never cleaned up. The gazebo walls were installed backwards. One door they installed has a huge gap and let in lots of cold winter air. They were unwilling to run an electric line to the kitchen island because they would have to drill into the concrete slab. No drop cloth was put down when they were drilling new holes in the ceiling for the HVAC vents. After about 10 months, the grout in the bathroom and kitchen was cracking. Glue from the tile dried on the outside of the tile and looked unsightly. The contractor gave us a one-year warranty, and some things were fixed, but they have stopped communicating.

We only asked for a refund for the work we found problems with, which was roughly 1/3 of the cost we paid for all of the work that they did.
