Pick your crust, sauce and tippings, and they cook it in a fired oven. It is ready fast. My wife and I can each have pizza the way we each like, and the price it right. They have a great cauliflower crust option too! read more

Location: On Oracle (the old Gengis Grill) The Skinny: Beautiful restaurant on the inside with good pizza and a great atmosphere. The Restaurant: The restaurant is beautifully decorated on the inside. Very clean when we went during lunch time on a Saturday. The Staff was friendly and helpful and service was quick. All the right formulas to make a good place to eat and we will be back. What I did not like: Would have like the crust thicker but I like the thicker crust type pizza's What was nice: I loved the Ice Tea they have. Was very fresh and had natural flavors for the sweeter tea. Should you go: Yes. Definitely give it a shot. Although it is like some of the other pizza places like Fired Pie and Pionic, it is still really good. My Kids Review: Go! Its Pizza!!! read more

The veggie pizzas are surprisingly good because all veggies are correctly cooked. Tender. Not stringy.

Bring a coat. The dining room is freezing. Seriously, I bet it was 45 degrees. The pizza was fine.

it's good, i love the topping variety and selection for free , you can add as much of whatever you want!! Prices are undefeated too. Definitely health conscious people may eat here and include in diet as well as the foodie people too! read more

Started going to this location when they first opened. Stopped because the attitude is so lax now. Employees not as friendly as when they opened. Decided to try them after a few years, and things have gotten even worse. No greeting when you come in, employees dis-interested in the customers and it seems like a chore to make your pizza. The music is way to loud as you can hardly hear them when they call your name out to pick up your order. My pizza was all burned around the edge, and I mentioned it to the employee, and he said he would make another one if I wanted! Hey...how about making it RIGHT the FIRST TIME so I would not have to wait again??? Also the AC was blasting and it was only 62 degrees outside, and it was sooo cold that my nose started to run half way through eating! So will I be returning anytime soon? You figure that one out...terrible! read more

Literally a great place to grab lunch or dinner, dine in or take out. I love their online ordering it's so convenient. Totally reminds me of Subway you pick your own ingredients or pick from their menu which also includes salads. The pizza is made super fast on their gas fired ovens taste super fresh. I mostly order the Dillon James, or sometimes create my own. They have a nice size drink menu which has something for everyone, root beer floats, shakes, beer, fountain drinks, and lemonades with a twist. read more

I really like MOD Pizza. There are a lot of these fast pizza joints in Tucson now. The pizza is thin crust and loads of toppings to choose from like Brussels sprouts, bell peppers and black olives. I enjoy that I can put extra red sauce on in the end for an extra kick for free. They also offer the typical Daiya cheese. Their website states, "Fortunately, MOD is looking out for all ilks of eaters and provides plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans alike including vegan crust, vegan red sauce and vegan cheese from Daiya - not to mention tons of fresh veggies and herbs to choose from." SO there you go my vegan/vegetarian friends! For the price, it's a good place to stop in too. Overall, it's inclusive with various diets and delicious. read more

I highly recommend checking out this pizza place. Very fast service. Perfect for lunch breaks. I do not have one bad thing to say about it. The staff was super friendly. The whole establishment was clean and attended to. The food was good and the price was awesome. Let's start with Kacey (or Casey). She was the one in charge of making my pizza and she went above and beyond. I let her know it was my first time and she took care of me. She reassured me multiple times that I would not be charged extra for anything on my pizza. I went there intending to get a pepperoni pizza and what I ended up ordering was something so much greater and it's all thanks to Kacey and her amazing customer service. I got a pepperoni, sausage, and bacon pizza with mozzarella cheese topped with oregano. I also was given ranch on the side. All at no additional charge! It looked and tasted great. Overall I rate this establishment 5/5. The customer service was very refreshing and the food was good. My pizza was ready in less than 5 minutes and I was able to get there, eat, then drive back to work on time. I will defiantly be visiting this place again and I highly encourage you to try it out if you haven't already. read more

This place is SO amazing- why haven't I been before?! When you first come in, it seems like a subway for pizza. You can make your own or order artisan pizzas. I love that they have GF and dairy free options. They staff was extra sensitive to my dietary needs. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was too. I felt appreciated and valued. I've always been a fan of mod pizza, this location doesn't disappoint. Extremely friendly staff, clean restaurant, and fresh delicious ingredients! For one of the first times in a fast food type place I heard one employee tell the others how great they were doing, and that they were rocking it! So refreshing to see happy employees enjoying their work! For a busy evening the service was fast, and efficient! Would recommend to all! read more

My first visit today. I got the Mad Dog (pepperoni, sausage and beef) 11-inch for take-out. It's a good pizza. On the plus side, the setup is kind of like Subway in that you order in line and the toppings are all visible through the glass. You can combine a huge variety of toppings and they all looked very fresh. The flavor is good and the crust is tender and thin. It's barely over $8 with tax and ready in well under ten minutes. My main complaint would be that it's skimpy on toppings. Six slices of pepperoni on an eleven inch pizza is pretty weak. Since there are three toppings on a Mad Dog, I thought it was their way of balancing them, but the sausage and beef were scarce too. OK, it's an $8 pizza, so I guess that's what you give up for such a low price. All-in-all, I did enjoy the pizza and will be sure to come back when I'm in the mood for a quick lunch. read more

This place is great if you walk-in or eat-in your order will be perfect (probably because you're supervising). However, if you place a pick-up order (online) it will most likely be wrong. On 11/24 I placed a pick-up order and they missed 6 out of 8 vegetables I wanted on my pizza. (I picked up multiple orders so I didn't notice til' i got back to work.) They sent me a coupon for a free pizza so I decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately today they missed several vegetables again. read more

I have come here several times in the past two years as it is the closest pizza place to my apartment. Husband and I came here, new choose your own topping pizza place. We like pizza studio and this place is close to us so we thought we'd try it too. Great service and product! Smiling workers, polite and happy. They had great options and the different sizes of pizzas is a nice option. They don't have choices of crust like pizza studio does, but the crust is still good. A little thicker, but still a thin crust. My favorite combination is: pesto, mozzarella, garlic, pepperoni, bacon, spicy Italian sausage, mushrooms, roasted asparagus (pizza studio doesn't have this, at least last I remember), artichokes (better than pizza studio), pineapple. The artichokes at pizza studio have more "leaves" and they pull them apart and drop them around the pizza which is fine! But the artichokes here are like JUST the heart, the meaty tender part and they're SO juicy and just so good!!! Love these flavors together! Some of them might not sound good together...but I LOVE it, this is my winning combination. read more

I've been a Customer for a while now and I've never had this issue but after this it kind of disgusted me and I'm really grossed out I was eating my pizza and I felt something stringy and it was a long piece of brown hair I just wanted to say that this is so nasty you guys and your team whoever is in the back needs to protect your hair with some kind of wrap or whatever because this is absolutely gross I'm not going to eat my pizza and I'm not gonna continue my business with this establishment thank you read more

Half of my month is spent in Bellevue, right outside of Seattle so when I saw a MOD was opening up in Tucson I was ecstatic! Opening week I made it a point to stop in and do some comparison tasting. We were greeted promptly by the team behind the counter. Initially, I didn't see their menu on the wall before getting up and placing my order ( I typically order from it since it has great recommendations.) I believe the manager helped create my masterpiece, I chose the proton and veggies and she recommended cheeses, spices, other veggies etc...and the pizza was terrific! The restaurant was quite a bit larger than the ones I'm familiar with up North. Definitely great for groups. read more

i had heard good things about Mod Pizza, but after trying it today, I won't go back. Flavorless and a crust that lacked integrity. I did have gluten-free crust, so perhaps that explains that part. But the sauce, the toppings -- no bueno. The salad had more flavor. I love a good pizza, too bad i didn't find it here. read more

There are several quick-fire pizza options in Tucson now, and the MOD Pizza is the newest. To me what sets them apart form others is their crust. It is thicker than most and cooks more evenly. It maintains a nice crisp exterior and a has a good chewy interior. Topping options are great. Another differentiator is their pizza size options. You can choose from 3 different sizes. They also have a few local beers on tap. If beer isn't your thing, try. Boylan Birch Beer. Pairs perfect with pizza. All in all a good value and addition to the Tucson quick fire pie community. read more

This was a really neat idea. When Chipotle meets Pizza Hut. I thought it was moderately priced and I ended up buying a pizza for myself and my mother in law. You build your own pizza and it is really is quick. The business was busy and I still had my pizza within minutes of sitting down after getting a drink. It was a cool experience although I don't think I'll go out of my way for it in the future. It was good but it wasn't revolutionary. It's pizza. Bar Stool Pizza review, I'd say, 6.1 read more

This was the best chain restaurant pizza we've had! The workers were super polite and took time to explain the menu as well as getting our pizza out in a timely manner. Keep in mind we came in on a Saturday to a location near the mall with a lot of back to school shoppers. The food was in plenty for a great price and you can add on as many topping as you want for my most favorite price...FREE! The restaurant is clean with lots of options for drinks including a deeeeeelicious blackberry lemonade. We had the Caspian, a bbq chicken pizza and a side salad which was could be an entree if you added some protein. Will definitely be back or ordering soon! read more

We were looking for something quick & different. This certainly fits the bill! You get to "build" your own pizza. The ingredients you have to choose from all look fresh and appealing. You can choose as many toppings as you like for the same price. We each choose the mini and it was the perfect size for lunch. The dough is rolled when you order. The staff is friendly! The resturant is sparkling clean! read more

MOD Pizza is my favorite subway-style pizza joint. Not only do they have a large variety of yummy veggies for vegetarians and vegans, but also a numerous amount of meaty options. I was told to try MOD for their dairy-free cheese. If you know anything about vegan cheese, you know it tastes like cardboard and doesn't melt. MOD's vegan cheese is different. It looks and tastes like mozzarella- it may even be creamier. My favorite topping was the sweet and spicy red peppers that they have for a little kick of spice! It should also be mandatory to get your pizza topped with the balsamic fig glaze because that glaze is dynamite. All-in-all I am ready for another pizza from here. read more

We decided to try Mod Pizza today for lunch. We have been to other restaurants that are similar in concept in both Tucson and Phoenix. Here are our feelings on Mod Pizza: Positives: DELICIOUS pizza! The crust was tasty as were the ingredients. I enjoy this type of restaurant because my wife and I can share a pizza and I can get tomatoes and mushrooms on my half! (And she doesn't have to pick them off) Fairly easy ordering process. Good signage as to what is available to add. Different size crust!! This was huge for us as we have a 3 year old daughter. We were able to get her her own cheese pizza! Negatives: My biggest gripe is the yelling out of names for orders when the order is done. I prefer Fired Pie's level of service of bringing your food to you. The pizza came cut in 1/4s instead of 1/8s. I had a lot of toppings on my half and had to get a knife to cut the pieces smaller. This isn't a huge deal, I will just have to request them to cut the pieces into 1/8s. Overall a very good experience. We will be back! (I want to try their shake!$ read more

I just waited for 70 minutes for two pizzas I ordered for Curbside pickup. The online estimate was 15 minutes. Upon arriving, I called and was told it would be another 20 minutes. Then calling after 20 minutes, I was told my order was in the oven. After waiting another 15 minutes, I was told it WASN'T EVEN IN THE OVEN YET but was next. I went inside with my two young kids even though I preferred Curbside. Yes, the location was busy, but two things went wrong: 1. The time estimates were way off and 2. Being told that the pizzas were being cooked when they weren't. When we did get the pizzas after 70 mins (young, hungry kids in the car the whole time), they were partly burned. Seriously? The topping were fresh and delicious and I didn't feel guilty after eating a pizza. I wasn't a fan of their "sticks" but the pesto dipping sauce was great! 4 & 1/2 stars??? This place...music super loud and annoying...it's a trendy millennials joint that serves super thin crust crackers.. I mean pizza( if you want to call it that). No flavor, burnt; the best way to describe the taste of the pizza: its like taking a saltine cracker and trying to make it a pizza with sauce and cheese or whatever you like. The seating has a couple banquet tables (like it gets that busy here anyway) and hard chairs. They have crushed ice that waters down your drink and turns it into a slushy, yay. Pizza burnt (it's not like they had a fire oven and my wife's pizza was not burnt. The ranch had zero flavor, reminded me of plain yogurt; overall the most disgusting food I've eaten here in Tucson besides Bobos cafe and when I finished I felt like raising my hands up because I felt robbed. First and last time here, oh and they ignored me when I ordered. I was feeling mellow so I didn't make a scene (normally I have zero tolerance).
