When I was pregnant, MOD was my go-to spot. The garlic butter, the crispy but chewy crust, and the customized pizza options were always a hit. This is our first time going in about a year or so. They got rid of somethings during the pandemic, so there was no surprise there as we have been back since it ended. I've been begging my huaband to go back for so long, but the garlic butter being gone was a deal breaker. TONIGHT HE FINALLY AGREED. We went a few minutes after 9p, and they had begun all the closing duties, no big deal, but they still had a line behind us and were turning people away. They weren't saying they were out of dough til you made it to the counter. I think the most frustrating part is that they still had an hour to close. If management was present (I'm not sure that they were), they should have made sure everyone could be served. There was ONE mod size available at an hour til close??? The dining room was sectioned off for cleaning, but the person cleaning was standing there as we moved around trying to exit the restaurant. We had to move stools at 3 different places in the room. The staff was nice for the most part. There was no greeting when we came in like there used to be. One guy said bye as we left, and that was it. That was the return visit to MOD that has left an impression. The level of competition available ranks high so, hopefully this was just an off night. read more

It's pretty ding dang good. The menu is a usability nightmare! It took me a few visits to learn the choices and how to start my order. Usually too well done for my taste, but you can't go wrong with unlimited toppings. It's a college atmosphere with young polite employees. The decor is a trip. MODS is so unbelievabley good to me- you can customize your "pie" aka pizza anyway you want. On top of that if you are lactose intolerant like me, they have cheese that is lactose intolerant friendly. I love getting that cheese with a bunch of veggies and the hot swirl. It was really good. My husband & I split a Mega. You can choose from the menu of their specials or you can create your own. You can have as many toppings at the one price. We loaded it full of veggies & had roasted Brussel sprouts on pizza for the 1st time. So yummy! read more

My husband comes here about once a week to order lunch to go. He likes creating his own pizza and the suggestions of the crew. I've been here several times now. I've tried the Dillon James and the Sienna. Both delicious. You can mix it up by adding different toppings, even after the pizza is baked. The line moves pretty fast, and the workers are all really nice and quick. They also have organic ice tea, and a nice selection of beer. You can't go wrong with the $2 PBRs. You can easily get a $10 (or less) lunch/dinner here. The music is a little too loud sometimes, but it's usually decent music. read more

The name "MOD" does not sound like a great pizza place. It is missing the whole Italian image that "Paliachis, Peronis, Ponticellos, etc. has from just the name. We avoided MID for months because it doesn't sound tasty. We were pleasantly surprised! The pizza is a great value and as other mentioned, you can put as many of any toppings you want on the pizza. They have some great topping selections, too! One topping is roasted garlic which most pizza places don't have. I realize that's not for everyone, but if you're a garlic lover try it out.
