After a hot day we decided to try MOD pizza up on the Ridge. I popped online and placed an order- knowing it's going to be crazy busy. Walk in- up to the register- and discover- I sent the order to the wrong MOD pizza. The manager stepped in and instantly said to his team to take care of me. He said not to worry about it- it would be ok- and sent them over to take my order. I asked if I should call over to the other location and he said "no I've got this." Shocked by how well they are operating here already. There's been a line out the door and they are just rocking it. The line isn't because they are running slow or anything- it's because they are crazy popular. To the awesome manager- thank you. I ordered two pizzas around 3:30pm online for pickup. The confirmation page said it would be ready around 3:55pm. I walked in at that time to pick up my pizza and the place was almost empty. When I asked for my order the guy said it was just being made - WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE READY. The people who ordered behind us got their pizza first and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. This is unacceptable especially when your motto is "super fast". This is not the first time I've had problems with Mod Pizza and will rethink ever being a customer here again. read more

Fantastic Experience! I just moved here from a place with horrible pizza, Hawaii. Anyways my friend recommended we try MOD Pizza for lunch. We went into this Redmond Ridge location and were politely greeted, I was slightly confused by the menu system, BUT Dan working behind the counter was patient and extremely accommodating. Not sure if Dan was the manager, sure seemed like it as he had that place on LOCK! It was pretty quiet, but it was a Tuesday mid day, but Dan had the staff throughly cleaning the kitchen, and he wasn't slouching himself either. Between making our delicious pizza's he was also cleaning up and preping other items for business. As a small business owner myself who works like a dog, I tend to pay attention to the small things, and I gotta say I would drive to this MOD over others in a second simply because I saw the extra care Dan was putting into a simple job of running a corporate pizza shop, I hope he gets his own place one day, he deserves it! Oh and ask Dan for recommendations, he recommended a couple add ons to our Pizzas and they definitely were perfect! One thing missing however was a tasty Micro Brew, they had a few beers, probably stock per corporate, but I think we'll all agree that a nice LOCAL Micro Brew is best with Pizza. I used to love going to this location. This review is solely for their employees. I visited this place on a Friday recently, an employee was down right rude! First of all, please keep your opinion to yourself. If I like anchovies on my pizza that is my choice and for customer service sake, keep your opinion to yourself! And lastly, for other employee, please LISTEN to your customers on what they want so you won't screw up their orders! Mod pizza is good as a general rule, but this location is the absolute worst! I happened to be the only one in the restaurant at the time, and the kid that was going to make my pizza actually made stand there and wait while he was texting on his personal cell phone. He did not acknowledged me, just started putting on gloves while continuing to read and respond to texts. Completely rude. He was so distracted I had to tell him many things twice. He was still glued to his cell while my pizza was in the oven. I miss my old location where everybody is friendly and they actually do their job! read more

Pizza is carelessly made, ingredients not distributed evenly, and on today's trip, they ran out of pepperoni which we did not discover until picking up our online order A pizza place with no pepperoni. My wife and I ate at the new Mod Pizza on Novelty Hill Rd. in Redmond. We live close by and have been looking for a good pizza place. We ordered the largest available "MadDog" pizza and it was tasty. Love the thin crust. I also ordered a small Caesar salad. We sat outside. The service is friendly, our pizza was ready in under ten minutes (high heat pizza oven) and with drinks we got out of there at a reasonable price. Great having Mod in our area. Like the concept of this pizza establishment. Very convenient location for us to swing by for a quick meal. Can cater to each individual's pizza preference. Shakes are tasty too. The pizzas are great, when they are prepared correctly. We usually call our order in ahead and come pick them up. More often than not at least one pizza in the order is off by an ingredient or two. Last time I called in, I got there when they said the pizzas would be ready, but they had not even been made yet, which was odd because they were not busy at all. I waited around for ten minutes for the order to be ready only to find out that all three pizzas were incorrect. The employee apologized and said they would remake them quickly. I reviewed the order with him and he confirmed it. Waited another ten minutes for the second batch of pizzas to be ready, only to find that they were still not correct!! I told the employee (different one than earlier) that the pizzas were wrong. He apologized and said he'd remake them. I told him that this was already the second go round and he laughed. I was past thinking it was funny at this point. I didn't have more time to wait so he told me he could just put the ingredients he forgot in a separate container and I could add it myself. Yeah, because that's the same thing. What about the meat that is on the pizza for the Vegetarian? No further apology was made, no offer of a refund, just more laughing when he told the other employee what happened. Guys, get it together, seriously. You make a good pizza, but your lack of attention detail is ridiculous. read more

I have been to this specific MOD Pizza twice in the past month. We are done. NEVER going back again. The first time, it was crowded, and that might explain why the staff handling the oven and "finishing/cutting" of the pizzas seemed frazzled, along with pizza's coming out so burned around the edges, that they trimmed off of the edges and still served them. The most recent time was after 8:30pm on a recent evening. It was quiet in the store, with a few customers there waiting and eating. ALL 6 pizza's ordered came out severely burned around the edges, and they were quickly trying to 'make the pizzas look presentable' by trimming off significant amount around the edges. The person handling the oven and pulling out the pizzas and cutting them again seemed frazzled, took a call and left the entire area where the oven and other employees were, then came rushing back 2 minutes later and was trying to frantically get pizza's out of the oven. Nobody took the place of "COOK" and watching the oven even though other staff were in the area. Remember, it was a quiet evening and there wasn't a rush. There was no way this was going to fly with me. I complained that we would NOT be taking any of those pizzas and I wanted them remade, all while they were still trying to trim all the edges to make the pizzas look presentable. Now, I will get the manager there credit, in that they apologized, gave me a full refund, and remade the pizzas, this time pulling out the pizzas from the oven so that they looked perfect. But what was odd was that they were still pulling out other pizzas from the oven that were still burned for other customers. Gee, they made an effort to RE-COOK my pizzas correctly and pull them out before they were burned, but still couldn't do that for others. The person behind me waiting for their pizzas complained about the same thing. Now if this was a one time deal, I could understand, But again, this was the 2nd time in a month at the same location on Novelty Hills with the same burned results. Now, some may say that I am being too harsh and that this is way that MOD PIzza makes them. Gee, then why does the Woodinville location make them correctly? Why does the location at the Microsoft Studios Commons make them correctly? Look at the pictures from the other people who posted reviews here. They look great. When they re-cooked my pizzas and actually DID THEIR JOB and watched the pizzas, they looked great. The first ones were hockey pucks with toppings, and they were trying to pass them off as pizzas that a family would eat. That is where the problem is. They weren't doing their jobs and tried to pass off the hockey pucks as pizzas. How can kitchen staff at the Novelty Hill location look so frazzled both times I was there, in the same month with one night being relatively quiet. This location needs to figure out a plan and execute it. Will I return to the Woodinville location? Yes Will I return to the Microsoft Studios Commons location? Yes. Will I return to the Novelty Hill location? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Yes, they did refund me and remake the pizzas, this time pulling them out of the oven so that they looked like pizzas and not charred hockey pucks. But the staff's actions, taking phone calls and leaving the area, with nobody attending to the oven is just unacceptable and not a proper way to run a kitchen. read more

To be fair the salad on Asiago pizza was very good ...however, I was with six others celebrating my grandsons 10Th birthday and when I got ready to order, 4-internet pizza orders were put in line in front of me. It took over 20 minutes for the server to place his finger under each ingredient on each Internet pizza order and prepare the pizzas for people not even physically present. To add insult to injury the people ordering pizza behind me got their pizzas before me! The management explained that they had to wait for me to finish deciding what to put on my salad before the Asiago pizza shell could be put in the oven. Ordered a couple of pizzas and a large salad. The lettuce on the salad was old and wilted and didn't taste very well. Since they only do salads and pizza, that's really not okay. They also overcooked the pizzas for a slightly burnt crust. We said something to the guy cutting it but he didn't care. They also didn't ring up the order together or offer a sack to carry and had to ask for dressing. Basically sub par service. We like mod pizza and usually they do better than this. But serving wilted lettuce means that they are not taking care of the toppings/ingredients so we hope that this doesn't mean that they are serving other items that are not fresh. Hope that the service staff start caring more and that they ensure freshness so that we can go back. It's a great concept, build your own pizza and salad to go quickly. read more

While the pizza is delicious in a not-your-typical-pizza kind of way, the speed and service are top notch. I've taken my kids here way too many times than I'd like to admit! I ordered a gluten free crust, red sauce, olives, mushrooms, sausage, ground beef, and pine apple--and got something completely flavorless. I am not going back. Cold, austere room with nothing to look at, echos of other people's conversation echoing off the walls, horribly uncomfortable chairs, and complete lack of romance. ( I'm not sure, but I'd bet anyone over 150 pounds won't fit in those chairs.) I do like that the price is the price no matter what you put on the pizza, but I want flavor and interest. Their food is good but online ordering is a problem. We have done it twice now and both times we have been shorted pizzas. The first time they gave us someone else's order and my dad picked it up so he didn't know that we were missing 3 pizzas. Mod did refund our money but it still left us short on food for dinner. We decided to try again last night and this time it was our order but it was short a pizza. We let them know and they made me another but it was the wrong size. So now we are waiting even longer for the correct pizza. It comes out and sits for a good 4 or 5 minutes on the counter waiting to be boxed. I finally asked the poor guy if I could just take it. They seem to be overwhelmed by a busy Friday night. We will definitely go back just not on the weekend and no more online ordering. read more

Just want to say, this place is so accommodating for people with dairy and egg allergies. Going out as a family for a pizza night has always been tricky, since my son has a lot of severe food allergies. We've heard many good things about Mod Pizza from our friends but it has not been on our top list of eateries to check out...until we were in the area and very hungry. When we walked in and told the employee that my son has allergies, they were so helpful. First, the girl behind the counter changed out her gloves for a new ones, then she wrote a note saying my son has allergies, and got another employee to only work on preparing only my son's food. What was really impressive to me was the fact that despite the long lines, the worker took his time putting each of my son's topping choices, and he pulled out from a separate container...note, this take a lot longer time, but the worker was so patient and helpful. Plus, they had Daiya dairy free cheese, which added another bonus star to this rating. I do think they should be a bit more careful when they are placing the allergy food in the pizza oven. My son amazingly had a wonderful meal and said that he had no reaction from the pizza. He was so happy to be able to eat pizza with the rest of the family...it was a great family night...thanks Mod!
