The gal (Selina) responded: We are very busy and may have mixed up. AND HUNG UP ON ME! Called back and she so happened to answer the phone again, asked for her name and she asked me WHY. I said I wanted to know who I am complaining to and she said NO and hung up on me. We eat Mod Pizza about once a month, and it's usually fine. Tonight was not. Two issues: *My son's olive pizza had a metal bolt on it (NO, that is not a typo, there was a METAL BOLT on it). Thankfully, he saw it before he ate it. *My pizza with only veg on it had sausage on part of one slice and a lemon seed (I'm guessing). I don't eat meat, so I'm not happy about this. We love MOD. We love this location. Nice workers, fresh ingredients, clean tables...couldn't ask for more! Is it busy? Yes. But any family friendly casual dining is going to be busy on Friday and Saturday night. Not to mention if there is a fundraiser. So even when busy, they are decently quick and efficient. The staff is friendly. I even saw a lady be super mean to the guy behind the counter ultimately over how busy they were, and that's not their fault! They're busy because they're GOOD. I give this place 5 stars. They were gracious at fixing a bum order, they're really packed a peak times because they're good, and the staff is awesome. Tonight two very nice employees were making our pizzas with gloves on (couldn't have been more pleasant) while a dude was standing behind them with no gloves on, working dough balls with his bare hands. It was my first time at this particular MOD after moving to the area. My son and I stopped in on the evening of December 1st. An hour before my husband opted to check himself into urgent care.
