Salad nirvana! I love this place. Line moves pretty fast. Really good price for entre salad. Can't vouch for the pizza... But I could eat there every day for a year and never have the same salad... The lady with the pink and purple colorful hair was clearly on something. She could not comprehend anything that I was clearly saying and then put the wrong items on my pizza. She then lazily picked it off but only a few and continued to put the rest of the items on my pizza then threw it in the oven. This could be a real problem for people who don't eat certain meats due to religion. Therefore MOD Pizza should drug test their employees and shouldn't just hire anyone. read more

Mod pizza is another one of those build your own pizza places. You choose your own toppings: sauce, cheese, vegetables, meat. Then they put it in the oven and cook it for you. It takes about 7-10 minutes for it to be cooked. The pizza dough was a little undercooked to me and there was not much sauce, but the flavors were there. I came here with a few of my friends and when we walked in the staff told us they were having a promotion so basically everything we ordered was free! Came here for dinner and the place was not busy. I got all the vegetables on my pizza. The garlic strips was good but the size was kinda small. Not sure if they do larger size for garlic strips but I prefer Pieology's herb butter strips. In regards to toppings, it was okay but I felt they didn't put as much on my pizza. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the pizza is decent and you have plenty of toppings to choose from. The customer service on the other hand, leaves much to be desired. That being said, I've only ever ordered online. Some of the staff is friendly and the rest not so much. It's especially annoying when you're given attitude regarding something they forgot to put on and you call them out on it (in a friendly way). I love this place. The pizzas and salads are well made and inexpensive. The fact that you are not charged extra for all the toppings that you can put on your pizza and in your salad is a major selling point. All of their ingredients are fresh and tasty. It's great for small children and families. Everyone can get what they want and still be within budget. read more

I've been to Mod 4 times already since it has opened and I find the ingredients to be more fresh and their customer service way more friendly than their competiting build your own pizza, Pielogy. Plus they give you free sauce on the size when you ask for it unlike other pizza placed where they charge you. read more

Great pizza, possibly the best in Redlands if not the SB valley. It is better than Pieology. The crew are energetic and very courteous. My only criticism, and it is my only criticism is their cleanup of the tables after customers leave. The cleanup person wears blue rubber gloves. The gloves are great to protect the employee. But they use the same cloth to wipe off every table without spraying any sanitizer on the table. Nothing like transferring and spreading the germs onto every single table. Also, they clean off the tables by pushing all of the food scraps onto the floor. We saw pieces of food on the floor all over the place. Maybe their idea of cleaning the floors is hoping the customers will step on the various food particles getting stuck onto their shoes and carrying them outside. They need to do a better job of cleaning their dining room. Otherwise this would be a star place in my book. I did post a pic of the floor. read more

My wife and I were in line when the store opened 04/01/21. The first thing we noticed was the floors were covered in crumbs and did not appear to have been mopped in quite a while. I mentioned it to the lady who was waiting on us and she said, "the night shift didn't do a very good job". We received our order and when I went to get our fountain cokes I saw that the counter in that area was covered in crumbs and dirty. We saw a woman leave the store just prior to opening. I enquired if that was the manager and was told that she was the general manager. I asked if the manager was there, and I was told that I was speaking to her (same person I had spoken to originally). I told her that it was a shame that the place was so dirty. She seemed to agree, but took no action. If the general manager and the manager don't care, why would any of the rest of the employees? We were still the only customers at that point, so they weren't too busy to grab a broom at the very least. We will not be back! Too bad, they have good pizza! read more

I stopped by this place with my coworkers recently and we were all very happy. This place is very similar in concept to Pieology, but we all thought it was MUCH tastier. I got a make your own with tomatoes, onions, and whole roasted cloves of garlic. It was delicious and the crust was nice and crispy. This place is decent. We tried the Lucy pizza. Garlic rubbed thin crust with white cheese blend, grilled chicken, artichoke hearts and dollops of red sauce. All pizzas are cooked in a fire brick oven. They make a good snack but definitely not substantial enough for dinner. Slightly over-priced. Not sure how different this place is from Pieology. Tried Mod Pizza for the first time today. Because it was early, the place was pretty empty minus a couple of tables that were occupied and the customers were already eating their food. There was a group of eight young guys in front of us in line, but the line was moving horribly slow. Then appears and angry obnoxious woman behind us in line and she started belittling the workers for not moving fast enough. Given it took a long time, but the employee explained (while she was helping us) to the X lady that they had someone that called off and each of the young guys in front of us where paying individually and had each ordered a beer and there was a problem with the tap (**Lady continues to badger these poor employees who were trying to do their best) . During the ordering process though, we were helped by an employee who was friendly and apologetic for the hold up...In all honesty due to bad timing we happened to walk in at just the WRONG time. In the end here's what happened: Manager/Team Captain/Boss (whatever it may be) made it right by giving us a more that generous deal on our lunch due to the long wait in line ( cranky lady behind us in line got it too) Food was delicious, so many toppings to choose from Even though the line took a REALLY long time (bout 25 mins) due to bunch of goofball dudes just having fun with the employees in front of us, The Pizzas were still ready for us inside 7-8 minutes and was cooked to perfection. Friendly fun atmosphere Beer and Wine available Tea that tastes like it was just brewed in the sunshine, not to mention all the regular sodas. Homemade style Lemonade, + others Outdoor seating is available and real chill and relaxing Bottom line is Bomb Food, Awesome friendly help, Great area, and a Pizza Masterpiece of your own making.
