Ice cream shop is inside combined together with Cinders. Make sure you save your space for ice cream sundae: if you eat too much pizza, you won't be able to have room for ice cream dessert. This is a must dine in pizza restaurant while visiting Redding. Highly recommend and totally worth it! I will definitely return here again when I stay in Redding.

We ordered 3 pizzas for the 3 of us and all were devoured; Salsicca (not pictured since it came out first and I forgot a picture), Margherita and the Bianca. We also ordered 2 on tap IPAs and a bottled Coke. We enjoyed the pizzas, great dough with a wonderfully flame fired taste, but the toppings left something to be desired. The Bianca could use something fresh like some lemon slices and definitely more basil, as I got one leaf per slice. Staff was friendly, dining area was clean and we'd definitely return again if passing through Redding. As a pizza snob, it's not the best I've ever had, but definitely a tasty pizza and worth a try. Kudos to the chef who mentioned he started on an Ooni. Quite the progression! As we were finishing our meal around 7:15p, I overheard them turn a customer away, as they had sold out of dough. Come early if you don't want to risk it for the night.

It's good if you're a little short on time as well. When I'm working on location with my crew and we need lunch, buffets are the way to go so we don't spend 1 1/2 hrs for lunch. Inside is nice and neat, we're near the first ones to arrive just after 11 am. The buffet is $13.50 plus tax and includes a refillable drink. It runs till 2pm I think. The pizzas are hot and fresh, that why you go to buffets near opening! I love the crust here at Pizza Factory. Most all Pizza Factories are consistent no matter what town I go. Bring your appitite.

For cheap, unhealthy pizza that fails to fill you up, COME TO MOD. Because the food is served on a line in front of people, it has to be precooked, frozen or canned aka ready to eat. My opinion, you shouldn't be able to market yourself as organic and healthy when you take something from a can to my pie. The workers seem stressed and unhappy and personally, seeing even a bit of that ruins you "wanna-be Dutch Bros" feel. When i came to the manager, Josh, with my complaint about the burnt crust. He said something along the lines of "they all look burnt, that's how our pizza stone cooks it." He looked 10 times more stressed than the workers and ran off after I made my complaint. Honestly he came off like a real a**hole to me. My pizza was burnt, you could taste the ash. I wouldn't even pay $8 for that junk. the center of my pizza was floppy and the edges were black. With Mod being a new business, I guess you should expect inexperienced kids cooking your food. Mod needs to stop trying to pass as the "hip new healthy and cheap pizza" and start marketing what it actually is, loud and unhappy workers, cheap and unhealthy pizza, and rude management. If i could give this place 0 stars I would, but the lemonade was decent when watered down so I guess that earns a star. read more

Update: I recently revisited the pizza place after multiple disappointing online orders where they missed my hot honey and tomato sauce, and the pizza was undercooked despite my requests for it to be extra crispy. This time, I ordered in person, and the experience was significantly better. I had to keep an eye on my pizza and ask for it to be cooked longer, but the staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring it was exactly how I liked it - perfectly crisp with no sogginess or burnt spots. The toppings were just right, not overwhelming like before. I'm glad I gave them another chance, but I'll stick to in-person orders since they seem to get it right when you're there to oversee. I do think they should consider cooking all pizzas a bit longer to ensure that crisp everyone loves. read more

I love this place so much! Good quality ingredients good quality gluten-free crust just good quality everything. The only way this place could get five stars for me however is if they became more conscious of the gluten-free stuff so that people that I love and care about can eat there as well Gluten-free it isn't just about ingredients for some people and I think that if they became more aware of it and would keep separate equipment for The gluten-free items it would make things a lot easier for those who have celiac or gluten intolerances. $24.54 bought us an 11" custom pizza, a big bowl of salad with chicken & salami, a soda and a chocolate shake. Both of us were pleased with the taste and comfortably fed. Whether you take your best girl or send friends with a gift card, this place will be a hit. (If you have a teenage ball club you probably want to take 'me where the pizzas come larger...) We spent a lazy hour there & enjoyed every minute and that was at a peak hour. BTW the thin crusted pizza reminded us of Shakely's, it was that good (!). They also offer beer & wine. read more

Ooooooooh doggy! Step right up! Step right up! Ladies and gentleman... The only place in Redding you can get bomb pizza and a l.e.g.i.t price. I usually load up a MOD sized pizza with my fav meats, veggies, basil, salt & pepper, and mozzarella. Best part... Price doesn't change and it is the best stop and go restaurant in Redding. My wife digs the veggie pizza with garlic and olive oil. We make MOD a regular in our restaurant rotations, you shouldn't though... I dont want any body else making the line longer! read more

this place is so fun! i love how fast the workers work. this place is great for meat lovers because you can pile on the meat without any additional charges! woo hoo! the only downside is that i love chicken and bacon and i always have to ask for extra and extra of those because the employees will only put on couple pieces of meat. but its okay. just ask for more and they will do so! read more

It's difficult to find vegan cheese at any pizza place in Redding. I discovered that MOD Pizza has vegan cheese! This pizza did not disappoint. It was so good! I will absolutely be back. This place is amazing! Joshua, the general manager works at the front and is completely involved in the day to day work. Everyone is incredible friendly, super outgoing and the food is phenomenal. Great pizza overall. Love that you can literally choose any topping you want!! The one draw back is pizza edges tend to get pretty burned and tends to make the rest of the pizza taste burnt. Hoping the cooking gets just a little better, but overall great food and service. read more

I tried to pay through DoorDash, but the platform wouldn't allow the add-on. Instead of helping, Aman chose to be rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Ellie, on the other hand, the young lady who answered the phone, was kind, respectful, and handled everything perfectly. She deserves a raise. Aman? He's the problem. We're not stupid, something has changed, this was not the same as the many pizzas we have had in the past. We had not been to Papa Murphy's for some time and the pizza we picked up was ridiculous, looked like it had been run over by steam roller. Looks like a pathetic attempt to cut costs and increase profits. We won't be back as we have found inexpensive pizzas at supermarkets that are far superior.

It pretty much sucked and was extremely disappointing. Not only that but VERY over priced Second time I ordered a pizza, it was just a regular large THIN CRUST 3 topping pizza which I repeated several times so they wouldn't get it wrong and they still got it wrong which they charged me for each item as a build your own pizza. ????? WTF?? Not sure why they did that but it came out to almost $30 for a simple 3 topping pizza!! A pizza you could get almost anywhere else for around $18 to $20 Again VERY OVER PRICED!!! I've just gone through major surgery so eating a pizza is a treat I can have once in a while and must be thin crust! It's been a while, about a month or so since I got food here but I decided to give them a second chance. BIG MISTAKE!!!!I I also ordered a chicken Ceasar salad for my girlfriend and they managed to screw that up too and forgot to include the dressing. So I called back to rectify this and the pizza situation and someone answered the phone so I asked who I was speaking to but they refused to give a name or even acknowledge me. After asking several times who I was speaking they still refused to say anything Kinda like they knew who I was and realized they screwed everything up with my order. I recommend that NO ONE patronize this place because they will absolutely screw up the orders and over charge you as well as being TOTALLY RUDE OVER THE PHONE!! I gave one star because that is the lowest score it would let me score and I couldn't score it any lower. The woman owner was really rude as well and actually told me to stop talking when I tried to explain to her what the problem was with the pizza and the salad etc. They reluctantly refunded $5 for the lack of any dressing for the Ceasar salad but nothing for the GIANT SCREW UP on the pizza. I predict that this business won't BE in business for long. Hopefully not long at all so a righteous new owner can come in and provide a better business service because these guys don't have a clue about customer service or preparing food! Do NOT eat here or go here unless you like being treated really bad like the crap food they provide here. Never again!!
