Awesome service. Quick, polite, quality work. Very happy with deciding to stop in. Thanks to Anayah and Jason for keeping it real.

Mod is a quick, easy, and cost effective meal! The staff was very helpful and quick getting my pizza made and into the oven. The toppings were tasty, I had sausage and garlic. I did have to ask for extra of every topping. The first attempt, the pizza builder put a whopping 8 sausage on the pie. The pizza was cooked a little more than I prefer, but was still well within reason. For the amount paid, this is a great value!

Pizza!

We love mod pizza! The pizza is affordable and made well. The service is always cheery and helpful, maybe too much sometimes haha! I love the option to sit outside. One thing I would change is more toppings, but other than that we enjoy it every time.

Proof their pizzas are good...

BRO THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! We drive from Richland just to come here. Pizzas better and service is better. Like these people say hello and how are you and acknowledge you as a customer. Lol the other place, Richland, is terrible. Only two or three people seem to care there. The rest treat you like you're the ex they have been trying to run away from or maybe it's them being tired from life... you know... 1st world problems. Either way they chose the job so BE KIND! Lol Here at Kennewick they are like family bro. Super chill super nice! You can taste the love in the pizza in Richland you taste the hatred ‍ okay I'm done... enjoy your pizza if it's from Kennewick mod. They're the best. Hands down.

The moment you walk in, you're hit with a neon glow that feels equal parts late-night hideout and upscale hangout. Teal and magenta lighting bounce off glossy floors, the bar is backlit like it's auditioning for a movie scene, and the whole place has that "we didn't try too hard, but somehow nailed it" vibe. It's modern, a little edgy, and surprisingly comfortable--like a lounge you'd expect in a bigger city, but without the attitude. The seating is intimate without being cramped, with cozy tables tucked behind decorative partitions that make it feel semi-private without cutting you off from the energy of the room. You can sit back, relax, and either have a quiet conversation or just people-watch while sipping something strong and well-made. And speaking of sipping... the bar doesn't mess around. Cocktails, wine, beer--whatever your mood is, they've got you covered. It's the kind of place where you might plan to have one drink and accidentally stay for three because the atmosphere refuses to let you leave early. Then there's the food, which punches way above "bar snacks." Street tacos that actually taste like they belong on a food truck with a line out the door, turkey cranberry sandwiches that somehow feel both comfort-food and gourmet at the same time--it's the kind of menu that makes you rethink your "I'll just grab a quick drink" strategy. Bottom line: it's cool without trying, stylish without being pretentious, and the kind of place you'll want to bring friends to... mostly so you can act like you discovered it first.

The coffee is pretty good, I'll give them that, but they…read moreovercharge for everything in my opinion and what is a $7.75 coffee drink at my favorite Tri-Cities coffee shop cost about $11.00 at Peacock. A bigger issue, though, is service and just the basics of running a business. I've visited the new location three times now. The first time, I looked up the hours online, showed up about 10 minutes after opening time and the door was locked, no sign of life inside. I had planned to grab a coffee, open my laptop, and get some work done. I called the number listed, got no answer. Decided to run an errand I didn't really need to run, came back an hour later and they were open. I asked the owner about missing the open time posted on the website, on social medial, on Google, and on the door...I was told that the hours posted are pretty much just when they *try* to be there. Not a hint of apology for my inconvenience. Just an extremely defiant attitude that gave vibes of it being my fault for expecting them to be open during their own posted hours of operation. Off-putting, but I grabbed a coffee anyway and pulled up my laptop, tried to log in to wifi and appeared to be greeted with a pay site for wifi. I wasn't *about* to have another conversation with a surly owner, so I drank my coffee (again, decent coffee, no complaints there other than the cost) and I left. Stopped by one other time well within hours, met a friend for a quick coffee & chat, uneventful and unmemorable other than, again, a pretty curt and unfriendly interaction with the owner. Tried ONE MORE TIME, yesterday, ordered my seven-dollar coffee which I paid eleven dollars for (more after a tip, which I just do for karma reasons) and had the usual awkward and unpleasant chatter with the owner. Asked about wifi, was told it's free for customers, got the password, but he said "Unless it's down...it was yesterday." I asked if he could check on that. Took my coffee, sat down, opened my laptop, and yes, wifi was up, but no, it had no internet connection. I approached the counter, asked (again) if he could maybe reboot the router, whatever, see if internet would come back online. He told me flat-out that no, he wasn't going to do that, he'd talked to tech support and they hadn't called him back yet. Again...ZERO apology for the inconvenience, just a tone of annoyance that I was even bothering him about it. I'm done. The place looks nice, it's not far from home, and the coffee, while priced way over the competition, is not bad. But good LORD, I cannot with the constant rude, dismissive, entitled behavior of the owner. The exact antithesis of what a neighborhood coffeeshop vibe ought to be. If you visit, good luck to you. Bring your wallet and your willingness to spend too much, and your thickest skin, and be prepared for a hostile grip of attitude from the owner. Maybe some people are into that, I don't know, but I won't be darkening that door again.

Unfortunately, service slowed down quite a bit after that. It took about 30 minutes for our waitress to take our order, nearly an hour before our water glasses were refilled, and roughly another 30 minutes after ordering for the food to arrive. What made it more noticeable was that the restaurant did not appear very busy, and some tables seemed to be helped faster than others. That said, once the food showed up, it absolutely delivered. The wagyu burger was excellent. Perfectly grilled, fresh vegetables, and a bun that was toasted just right on the inside. The fries were crispy, hot, and clearly made with care. Everything came out at the ideal temperature. The turkey sandwich was another standout. Generous with the meat and full of flavor. Paired with the tomato bisque, it made for a comforting and satisfying meal. The bisque itself was creamy, rich, and exactly what you want alongside a sandwich. The ambiance is worth mentioning too. Slightly dim lighting, good background music, and a beautifully stocked bar create a relaxed, upscale atmosphere that feels great for a date night or an easy evening out. Overall, Fiction delivered where it mattered most: the food and the setting. If the service moved a bit quicker, the experience would have easily felt top tier. Still, it was a good visit, and with stronger pacing, this place has all the ingredients to be exceptional.

I asked for medium rare and it was a perfect cook. Came with seasoned fries. My s.o. had the steak salad which was largish and very fresh mix of arugula and romaine and butter lettuce. Service was good even though the mgr/owner was training a new hire. Just an elevated cafe but miles apart from carts or fast food. This cafe could clone itself in other parts of Tri-Cities and do well.

In reality, it's a raw cabbage taco with a hint of fish essence--or perhaps a cabbage taco with a fish surprise, if you're lucky. After she gave up and ate just one, she brought the rest home. I actually measured the piece of fish inside: a staggering 1.5 inches by 1 inch. That was it. One single, tiny nugget per taco, buried at the very bottom of the shell. Because of this, you have to choke down several mouthfuls of completely raw cabbage before you finally reach your single bite of fish. To make matters worse, that one bite of fish was terrible. They apparently brine it in a way that leaves it aggressively, unpalatably salty. While the menu claims the taco comes with "slaw," it is just heaps of dry, raw cabbage. There was so much of it that you couldn't even see the three corn tortillas until you went digging through the vegetation. The sheer lack of seafood in a "signature" fish dish is appalling. Save your money--unless you really, really love overpriced plates of shredded cabbage.

My favorite dip was the smoked steelhead. The crisps are very crunchy! Baked Feta Cheese w/ Honey Drizzle: The scone like pastries are really good! Super fluffy texture. Add the feta on top then an olive on the cheese, and take a bite! The warm pastry with the creamy sweet honey feta cheese and savory olive blends so well together. It's an amazing sharable appetizer and I highly recommend it. Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream: The rich flavors of the pie are delicious! The apples are cooked perfectly and not too crunchy or mushy. The cinnamon isn't over powering the whole pie, but enough to know that it's there.
