This place grossed me out. I went there today for lunch. Lots of issues... First of all the place did not look clean in the back. Secondly the woman that took my lunch order was not wearing a mask and talking over the food which I personally think is very gross as a healthcare worker. Thirdly, when she got my cauliflower pizza crust she mishandled it and held it down by her side and it was touching her pants. FIRST REALLY GROSS PART. Then she held it up and my crust was touching her shirt. Mind you her shirt (like most of the staff) was absolutely filthy with food debris. Fourth, they were wearing gloves however they did not change them. I noted a gentleman remove his mask to scratch his nose and pull his mask back up and kept making pizzas without washing his hands or changing gloves. THAT'S THE SECOND REALLY GROSS THING. Fifth, they did not take food allergies into consideration as I cannot have pork and the customer in front of me ordered pork. The ladies making the pizza were not using tongs just put their hands directly into the toppings causing cross contamination. This made me get a cheese pizza only since a different worker did that. Overall I would say not impressed, not hygienic at all, poor training of staff and manager that allowed that to happen on his or her watch. Pizza arrived 20 min late, stone cold, and without two desserts nor 6 packets of red pepper flakes and parmesan they charge for. I prepaid, as required, including 15 percent tip. Got a knock on a hotel door, opened to find pizza ON THE FLOOR without desserts nor packets. Tried to chase down delivery, but they're running away like a rabbit. WORST PIZZA EVER. I waited an hour today for pizza that was slightly burnt and disrespectfully made. The doughy was only half rolled out before the sauce was put on just half of the pizza. They were in a rush so they were just throwing stuff on the pizza. I don't eat pork and there were piece of pepperoni stuck to the bottom of my pizza. Also, because the dough wasn't fully rolled out, chunks of it were raw while other sides were burnt. The restaurant seemed to be having issues today because many people complained about burnt pizza or waiting over an hour for food. What made it worse was that the employees had an attitude about their mismanagement. Two stars because the edible portion was delicious. But serving raw dough is a health hazard. read more

The pizza was good. The service was TERRIBLE! I will not be using this location in the future. While visiting this location I thought I had acquired the super-power of invisibility. Sadly I didn't, it was just poor customer service. When your ratio of employees to customers is 1 to 1 (it was not busy when I picked up an evening order), providing customer service shouldn't be SO DIFFICULT! This pizza restaurant ( if it can be called as a restaurant) is extremely bad to the customer because they made me wait for more than 45 mins and still mistook my order, even charged me for the soda when they returned money to me without saying a "sorry". Food looks and smells great. Store is clean and has a nice look. But 50+ minutes after I placed my online order, it's still not close to being ready, I just heard. Meanwhile, people standing in line to order are getting served faster than those who ordered a while before I did. I don't think they realized this is one of the busiest medical centers in the country. The wait in line is horrific, online order scheduled for pick up at 1:15 received at 2:00. All of the workers need to wear gloves. The pizza TASTES Delicious!! Need a system to move through the line a little bit faster. I came in on a Monday around opening time, ordered a mini mod and the lady who was serving the toppings was not paying attention to my order. I asked for several vegetables and she did not even put them. I was disappointed that such a new restaurant with no line and the lady could not get the order correct. I definitely agree with others on here. This location needs to be retrained on customer service. I've been to many MOD locations and this is by far the worst. I ordered a salad and paid for it and they wouldn't give me the salad it was just waiting there in the line with all the pizzas. I asked for ranch for my salad when they finally decided to give me my salad bowl they didn't give me the ranch I had already requested, not even a bag or silverware giving that it was a to go order. Uhhhhh no, when the pizza got to my apartment it was very very cold. Had to heat it up in the microwave. Pizza was also small and paid $17 for cold pizza, just the pizza I didn't order anything else. We decided to order in pizzas for a game night. As students we always look for the best deals in the city. Mods pizza had the customizable option and as someone who loves to choose toppings I decided to try this place. They pizza just wasn't as good as I expected but it wasn't too bad that I couldn't eat it. Dominos is far better than this and I wish I had just ordered from them instead. I'm not sure if I will visit this place again unless I don't have any other option for pizza or if I'm on a tight budget. But it's worth the price. The customer service was that good though. I went in to pick up my order and since I was five minutes early I had to wait. I checked in and they told me five more minutes but when I went in after five minutes they told me wait for 10 minutes. I understand that it takes time during busy hours but if that's the case then they should've just informed me before. When I informed this to the person there, they responded in a rude manner. Horrible service. Stood for ten minutes like I was invisible while these two (see picture) went about their conversation. Clueless to make any eye contact or even engage to say "sir we are working on some take out orders will be with as soon as we can, we apologize for the wait". Commenced my yelp review and used the camera option to take a picture. Well I was invisible no more! They asked why I took a picture. Told them I had been standing there for 10 minutes and was going to use it for a Yelp review. They refused to serve me. Manager came by and asked me to leave, which at that point I did gladly. This the location right across from the medical center where people are in the area not for the dinning experience but because they have loved ones or friends undergoing medical treatment. Best pizza I've had in a while, the employer Christian R. Was very friendly and helpful hard to find service like that nowadays.

I arrived at this location at 9:30 pm (store closes at 10:00 pm). As soon as I walk-in, I'm greeted with a "only to go, we are about to close". Then the lady creating my pizza had a horrible attitude and was extremely rude. A customer was sitting at the patio and one of the employees tells the other "girl, we already cleaned outside and we told them not to sit outside. I'm going to go kick them out.. I don't care". I encourage management to do something about it as this is completely unacceptable. The employees are in the business of customer service! read more

I placed an order online and when I got there to pick it up there was no process whatsoever to know when your order is ready other than the employee yelling out your order. It's a complete CLUSTER. Since 10 other people were in line waiting on their pizzas as well, I took it upon myself to look on the pizza boxes to see if any of them were mine. The man cutting the pizzas rudely asked what I was doing and when I told him I was looking to see if the order was mine he turned the box around so I could see the name instead of just asking me what my name was. He acted so put out that I was checking for my order. While observing the employees while waiting on my pizza, I was absolutely disgusted at the fact that they DONT wear hair nets or gloves when handling food. We asked the manager about this and he replied that they aren't required to wear them in the pizza cutting area...Numerous times while I was standing there I watched both men touch different peoples pizzas with their bare hands. One man was touching the pizzas with a bandaid wrapped finger and NO gloves! So DISGUSTING!!! I decided to look past it and eat the pizza anyway but when I opened my pizza box I found a HAIR in my pizza!!! I immediately took my pizza back to speak with the manager about our whole experience and got a refund. This location needs some serious work on customer service for all employees. Just placed about 6 orders including mine along with my coworkers. I don't think ONE full order was completely correct. When picking up the orders, the guy behind the counter was EXTREMELY rude. There was a bunch of people waiting to pick up their orders so my friend and I went over to the side to see if we could see if our pizza boxes were there. The guy behind the counter turned around the boxes so that we couldn't see the names. When we brought everyones order back, one by one everyone started realizing the issues with their orders. Some were missing salad dressing, some pizzas had the wrong ingredients on them, sauces were on the pizza when asked to be put on the side, and one pizza had a HAIR in it. My friend and I went back with the HAIR pizza and started noticing that NONE of the employees who work by the oven (putting the pizzas in the boxes) had gloves on and NONE of the employees were wearing hair nets. I asked the manager why no one was wearing them and his response was that the people by the oven were not required to wear gloves because they will melt if they get too close to the oven. There was no mention of the hair nets. To me this seems totally disgusting and inappropriate. WHY would people preparing food NOT have to wear gloves AND hair nets at all times. Safe to say neither me or my friends will be coming back to this ModPizza and I'll be SURE to tell everyone else I know about this experience! read more
