Craving pizza, so I stopped in for dinner to create my own. From start to finish, I was only there about 15 min as I beat the crowd. I love the variety of toppings and the brick oven fire. Twas first time trying here. I like MOD pizza in general and enjoy visiting new locations but I saw a staff handling meat pizza and vegan pizza side by side without changing the gloves... I think they should ask customers if they wanna have plant based or meat based and change their gloves accordingly. Those small things need to be changed. John took our order and was extremely passive-aggressive, rushed us while we were trying to order and was very dismissive the entire time. I have visited other MOD pizza locations and I very much like their premise as you get get unlimited toppings! When you arrive they ask for your name and type and size pizza that you want. There are 2 sizes mini, which is more of a personal pizza or MOD which the larger of the two, it feed multiple people. If I am alone I usually get the mini and load it with lots of meat and veggies. It is more like an assembly line as they complete your order. They then load it into the pizza oven and then you have a choice of a fountain drink, beer or wine. Unless it is crowded you usually don't have to wait long and depending if you are eating in or getting it to go they will box it for you. There is one pretty close to my home and I usually visit for lunch. If you get their app you can accumulate reward points. read more

This is my third time to try this place and I think it gets worse every time. This time I found hair in my pizza. For some odd reason none of the people are wearing hair nets while preparing the pizza. Let me add that all the people making the pizzas had long hair dangling down. Clearly under new management. The owner spent the entire time we were ordering our food arguing with his wife (I assume) about her not replacing the sauces and cheeses, and about where she should be standing when filling containers with sauces. They were very stingy with sauce and toppings. You could almost see him tallying up the cost of each pepperoni he put on a pizza. We had to tell them to add more sauce since they put only enough for half the pizza. The fire in the oven waa too high, I assume to get the pizzas out quickly. We had 2 megadoughs, 2 minis, and 1 cauliflower crust pizza, they all came out at the same time. The Cauliflower pizza was burned, the megadoughs were underdone but the cheese was browned. This Mod location is always a terrible experience. It is close to my house but the service is always bad, they are understaffed. The employees are unhappy. The line is always long because the few employees are so slow. They try to do the online orders with the normal customers. It's just painful. Then the wait on the oven is crazy long and either burnt on the bottom or uncooked. I have done reviews for Mod about this location multiple times with pictures and everything. But nothing improves. They really do cater to their customer and offer soooooo much quality customer care that you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. The ambiance and food in this place is always good and very consistent. The reason I must give this specific MODS location a 2 star is because of the horrible service. Excuse my harsh language but I must say the crew serving me were nothing more than vegetables when it came to interacting with each other and amongst my wife and myself. I really want to give a higher rating because when done right, the food is amazing. Here's my problem: While I appreciate the ease of online ordering, it's almost a guarantee that your online order will be haphazardly thrown together and any custom notes will not be considered. In order to achieve the pizza of my dreams I have to be present to direct the process. I would appreciate it if, even for online orders, the people assembling the pizza took care to evenly spread toppings and follow notes. I ordered a pizza online and asked for extra cheese. When I tell you this pizza has the least amocheese I think I've ever seen when I went to pick it up, I'm not exaggerating. Other times I've had toppings piled up on one side and scarce on the other. However the tablet is filthy I came in at about 7:30 PM and And every sitting area was completely dirty with left plates and cups left to go boxes marinara sauce and meat on the tables and all kinds of stuff all over the floor. First off, I love the pizzas here. Its literally the only pizza that won't give me heartburn! I like having control of what goes on my pizza and how much or little that is placed on it. The reason for 3 stars is due to employees being unprofessional in front of customers. One of the employee females was asking for something she needed from a male employee who had pink hair, and he was so rude to her threatening to walk out and quit! He was saying he doesn't care and that he could find another job! I am in the service industry(manager) and I was appalled by his behavior. If I were his boss, he would've been fired on the spot! I felt really bad for her, but she handled it in a professional way. When there's an open kitchen environment, employees should know better to than act like that in front of customers. New MOD in the neighborhood! My wife has loved the MOD franchise since they opened in Houston. We have been traveling to Memorial and Cinco Ranch which is not too far but hoping for something closer. The store on Fry put their sign up a couple of months ago and we have been anxiously waiting for it to open. I don't eat pizza often because I try to avoid bread but I really love MOD. Their layout and process for customizing orders is unique and pretty cool. Literally every pizza and salad is made to order right in front of your eyes. They have several styles that you can choose from and a staff pick or feature recommended, as well. The crew is super fast and well managed. Everyone greeted us with a smile and were eager to please. The pizzas are slid into an oven and come out super fast. My favorite is the Jasper and the Simple Salad. I especially like salad additions like the whole garlic along and red peppers wi. The kids and the wife have their favorites, as well. I just read on their website that they have a new cauliflower crust! That would solve my carbohydrate issue. Lastly, I've noticed something about the company culture that is appealing. There is no pretense. The employees appear happy and want to make you happy. They seem to really dig in to the community that supports them. I like that. Try them out. I doubt you will be disappointed. read more

I ask if they can put it back in their oven for just a minute or two. They tell me they cannot (Quality Control) and offer to make me another. I refuse telling them it's totally okay because I'm thinking they'll just through the other pizza out. ...No way.... I don't waste food like that!! (Starving kids in remote places. First world problems etc etc) They tell me they're with me on that and will let me keep the cold pizza AND make a new one free of charge... then the offer me a BIG cup for free lemonade while I wait for the new free pizza! My kids and I love MOD off Fry between Park Row and I10, across the street from WalMart. After our favorite pizza restaurant closed, we found MOD pizza. I have two severe allergy kiddos who are allergic to wheat, dairy, and a few others, but they LOVE pizza. MOD's gluten friendly crust and DAIRY FREE CHEESE allow us to enjoy restaurant style pizza again. This location even takes extra precautions for the allergies and every time, they have followed procedures for allergy customers including changing gloves. My kids are pizza happy again. Thank you MOD! The staff here is so friendly, gives great service and never disappoints. And an extra bonus...my kids love dancing and jamming out to the awesome music!!!!! Ordered a "Create Your Own Pizza (11in)" and a "No Name Cake". My pizza was absolutely perfect- the crust was nice and crisp throughout, not soggy in the center. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. Downright wonderful! I must admit that I was expecting something completely different when it came to their "No Name Cake". An actual slice of chocolate cake is what I figured I would receive. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it resembles more of a small Hostess cake, their Ding Dong snack cakes. A small chocolate disc filled with a buttercream. This is one of our favorite places to either dine-in or get to go and eat in the parking lot. We've always loved it, but they have had a special place in my heart through COVID. While we don't dine-in often, we recently went with all 4 of us, including my boyfriend's teenagers. It's one of the only places we all love. I was impressed when I witnessed an employee who was showing up for her shift getting her temperature taken and logged in a book. This shows me that they're taking their customers safety seriously. When the 4 of us go we usually spend around $50 & they had a great deal that gave you a free pizza or salad and drink with the purchase of a $50 gift card. Unfortunately, the clerk forgot to give us the card needed to redeem the free meal and the manager was so very kind and actually gave us what we needed. I'm not sure if it's because I came in 20 minutes before closing or what, however I think this service I received was still unexceptionable. The young lady who was making my order,had an attitude at first. I was still polite to her and didn't say anything because I knew it was late and she was ready to go home cool. Then I move on to wait to pay for my food. The gentleman helping me I guess skipped the person in front of me and wanted me to pay. I picked up some wine he asked for my ID I pull out my card holder which is clear and visible. I show him my iD. Then he asked me to take it out my wallet and takes it. For One I understand checking IDs because I have worked in the serving industry for years now, Although we are still going through Covid at the moment. so if the date of birth and expiration is clearly visible why do you need to hold the ID? He reads my eyes because I had on a mask on and realized he offended me and he pursues to give me the quick spill of why he needed to hold it. I'm like okay I understand I'm not in the mood to say anything. So I politely say I understand and continue with the payment process. When the tip part came up I made a sound because the service was not the best and at first I wasn't going to leave a tip. However like I said I worked in service so I know how these nights can go so I tipped and waited. He then calls my name quick I'm confused because my food came out before the customer who was in front of me but I was just like okay whatever. I get home to eat my pizza and it's not even cooked in the middle. It's still Dowie in the middle. And I couldn't even call to bring my pizza back because they are closed. So upset I wasted 20 dollars on uncooked food when I could've gotten a better option or even made this at home.
