Worst pizza experience last night. I should of return it back to the store... My wife got sick n threw-up in the morning. Pizza didn't digest ..First time eating pizza n throwing up..The dough wasn't cook fully n taste soggy n soft. Had a really great experience at this place. All of the employees that we dealt with were great, but Joey and James definitely stood out. We had a large family come in and James was exceptionally patient with all the different orders that came out and Joey had a real up beat and joyful personality and a good sense of humor as well. This is the best MOD I've been to by far in comparison to the other 4 I've been too in Houston. There was a warm greeting, speedy service, and a very informative staff that's very passionate about making pies. Now on to the pizza-- perfect crust, not too chewy and great rise on the edges. There was a deliberate amount of sauce that kept the pizza from being too soggy and the ingredients tasted great, whether it was the spicy sausage (more on the mild side) or the roasted mushrooms (highly recommended). I have been to several locations and usually enjoy the experience, but tonight at this location they dropped our pizza on the floor, when offering to remake it they never asked what we wanted on it. Just assumed we wanted it exactly the way it came . We were very adamant that we didn't won't the buffalo spicy sauce that came on it.. well guess what ???? They didn't listen !!! Since we ordered it to go we didn't notice til we got home that it was exactly how we didn't won't it!! They never apologized for dropping it in the first place !!! So I've been to MOD plenty of times and have had great experiences. This last time was awful. When first entering the night crew were loud and playing around not even paying attention the people that were ready to order. Then they were not using gloves. There were bugs flying in the food and when I asked why they didn't cover the food the employee just shrugged her shoulders. I walked over yesterday for lunch and ordered. My name was called and the wonderful woman at the counter told me my pizza was a little burned on the bottom so she had another one made for me and it'd be out in about a minute. I was shocked by her preemptive decision to have a new pizza made for me instead of me trying it and complaining about it. I top of that she could not have been nicer and did a wonderful job in her handling of it...it was a small gesture but means a lot to see someone take a second to check the food before giving it to customers. It's hard to go wrong when you customize your own pizza. The toppings are fresh and there is a satisfactory amount of options. It's always ho because it's cooked to order. I placed a $125 group order, and checked out with the understanding that the 6:30 delivery time I'd entered earlier would be saved. I immediately noticed that the order was scheduled to be delivered asap, so I scrambled to call the contact number- got a recorded message in mandarin. I used the web chat only to be informed that since they had started the order already the could only offer a refund of $13 and changing the time was impossible - this was at most 4 minutes after the checkout. Simply Amazing! Quick good ingredient list, especially if you dont eat meat! You can get great veggie options.
