Although I would consider this to be more overly priced, I do enjoy how customizable everything is. If you're looking for a personalized pizza with no limits to your toppings - this is the place to go! I got the Mad Dog, with my own additions to the toppings as well and thoroughly enjoyed my food. I would've given this place 5 stars, but was given attitude by one of the employees because I got confused about the sauce toppings. I would go again, but would want to avoid being around that employee next time.

Good pizza at a great price. You can get whatever you want on a pizza at one fixed price. They have a brick oven and typically you can start eating within ten minutes of ordering. We typically get no more than 4 ingredients on a pizza and always get a great tasting pizza

I ordered MOD pizza from door dash twice during my week spent in Hammond for work. I loved that I could customize my own pizza and and salad! The salads were fresh and tasty, and I loved the Italian style crust on the pizzas. The no name cake is also worth adding onto your order, it's like a gourmet ding dong :)

I don't know why eating at MOD Pizza is a concession to a place to eat rather than an actual destination...it's good, it's quality, and it's inexpensive. I just feel like I always come here after a long debate when no one can make a determination as to where we should go. It should be a destination spot, and not an afterthought. They have good pizza, they have good food across the board, and they have really decent service. They do serve Revolution IPA, and that's a really nice offering to go with their pizza. Being a creature of habit, I tend to stick with the Lucy Sunshine, but my husband has tried many of their other pizza creations, along with creating his own, and has liked basically all of them. MOD Pizza is a family friendly spot, which is useful at this stage of my life. My toddler had a meltdown the last time we were there, and no one batted an eye...thankfully. In fact, a really awesome employee came over to help talk my toddler off the ledge.

restaurant was not clean. Tables were not wiped off, napkins all over the floor.drink machines were disgusting. There was only one plate on the shelf for customer use and it was dirty and broken. Staff was texting in front of customers while standing at the oven cooking pizzas. The staff that was building the pizzas was sweeping in between orders and touching the dirty dustpan.

I really enjoyed our time here the staff was really friendly and explainedhow everything works because it was our first time. my favorite thing is the price- you pay a flat price regardless of how many toppings you get on your pizza and I love lots and lots of toppings! The pizza bakes really really fast in the fire oven thing so you don't have to wait forever. The lemonade is also really good here. I will definitely be back. and they have a wide variety of toppings also my husband got a pineapple chicken bacon pizza with BBQ sauce (ew) but they have other toppings as well and different tops of cheeses and meats like salami ground beef pretty much anything you could think of. Oh and they have salads too

First time at MOD while traveling, and I definitely wish we had one at home! I tried a different MYO pizza concept in the past, and was underwhelmed. MOD, however, was impressive considering 1) You pay one price for unlimited toppings of your choice and 2) There is a great variety of fresh toppings that go beyond basics. So you can make a pretty swanky pizza. I did red sauce, ricotta, mozzarella, asiago, broccoli, artichoke hearts, red peppers, basil, oregano, chicken, and a few splashes of pesto on top when it came out of the oven. Because I could. They featured a caramelized pear iced tea and blackberry lemonade the day I was in, which tempted me from my standard water. Yum! I was too stuffed to eat my No-Name cake while I was there, but I'm glad I decided to give it a try. (it's like a DingDong, but made exclusively for them and so much better!) Lastly, I appreciated the clean, well stocked self-serve station with seasonings, take out boxes, etc and that staff were friendly and engaging. I noticed the "Issac" everywhere, and encourage you to look it up as I did. I thought that particular page on the site was really well done, and I admit the video made me a little teary. If you don't find it the least bit touching, you might be totally heartless. Feel your chest to see if you can detect a beat.

I used to come here frequently for lunch. Now they're only open 3 hours a day?! It doesn't make any sense and I'm not sure how they're planning on retaining employees with those hours either. This is crazy.

Your fast casual pizza prayers have been answered, Region rats! I've been a fan of MOD ever since 2009 after a haphazard stumble into their first location in Seattle. I thought to myself, "This is definitely an idea that would really blow up if it ever came east." Well, eight years later, I am proven right. For the uninitiated, you simply choose your dough, sauce, cheeses, toppings, and finishers, wait a few minutes, and out pops an 11" pizza made hot and fresh, all for a competitively priced $7.87. And while other fast casual pizza options exist like Blaze and Pie Five, MOD is still the only one to offer nitrate-free meat toppings, rotating seasonal vegetables, and draft/bottled beer alongside their pizzas. Plus, their milkshakes are pretty tasty, despite being a vanilla base with chocolate or strawberry swirled in. Just think...Highland is now as cool as Seattle! (Ok, I got greedy with that last one, but at least we got one of their best kept secrets.)

I used to go to a place called Pie 5 and when they closed I cried. MOD reminds me of the other place but it's much nicer of an atmosphere. It's kind of a subway concept but with pizza. You pick a crust, then your sauce, toppings (all the toppings) and then you are good. Mini 6 inch is $4.87, 11 inch is $7.87 and there's something called a mega (bottom layer sauce and cheese, top layer sauce, cheese and ingredients) and that is $10.87. As many toppings as you want... tired of ordering a medium pizza and paying $1.50 for each additional topping? I put mushrooms, onions, green pepper, bacon, sausage and a mixture of asiago, mozzarella and Parmesan and only paid the $10.87 price for the mega. (Actually half off today) They just opened so of course the place is clean. For an opening so far they are able to handle the crowd. They have knowledgeable staff helping the newbies. Tuesday's they have glasses of beer $2.00 and have craft beer!!! They also have milkshakes, iced tea and soda as well. Good game MOD, good game. I'll be back

As many ingredients as you want on a hand made, fresh ingredient pizza for one super reasonable price - under $8 - what are you waiting for?! Go today and your purchase price goes directly to the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana! A social conscience and great pizza -- we had three custom creations for lunch today, one of the first 50 customers at this new location. Recommend the pesto sauce. Red sauce not typical pizza sauce, has quite the little zing to it. The pizza is assembled before your eyes, to your liking, with constant feedback from the diverse crew, all asking if your pizza looks as you like and if you want any additions to it. Imagine Subway's creation process but with multiple individuals actually communicating with you and seeking your approval before your pizza is fired! The opening day vibe was strong, service was strong, and I have nothing but positive things to say about MOD Pizza. You devise it, supervise its creation, then enjoy it. Salads too! We didn't get salad today but I have no doubt they will be good too. UPDATE, 2/3/2018: About the new Mega Dough... I was expecting something along the lines of a "rising dough" crust, but that wasn't the case... the only extra poof is in the unsauced, dry outside portion of the pizza. Even then, it is just a chewy, tough bite rather than a bready, doughy bite... all it is, is too much cracker crust dough. Bleh. For $2 more, skip it. Makes the pizza less enjoyable.

Spicy chicken sausage & fresh basil with a sprinkle of parmesan on top.

He had mentioned about five guys and I had mentioned to him out of all the hamburger places I never tried five guys. He said that they were really good and it was my treat for the favor he did for me and we ended up going to this location and it was my first time. In regards to the burgers taste wise it kind of reminds me of a Rally's or checkers but with fresher ingredients because I ordered fresh bell peppers in regards to the beef meat quality for a hamburger. The fries were surprisingly good one of the fellow staff employee members asked if I wanted cayenne pepper I think his name was Kyren J. My other friend couldn't finish the other price so I took it home and hopefully it's still good as left over to eat what really was weird which I also dressed to one of the staff members was that the banana milkshake that I ordered had a pineapple aftertaste it wasn't spoiled or anything like that but usually if you're just ordering a banana milkshake it shouldn't be that sweet. Almost like the tardiness of a pineapple. I felt like I was drinking a non-alcoholic pina colada. That was my only little disappointment overall it was okay that's what I compare the quality of five guys I would come back to eat a five guys burger but not necessarily the one over here in Indiana. Apologize for no pictures despite writing a review because I was talking to my coworker friend and it's been a while and we were talking about and catching up on things in our lives despite treating him to five guys as well as myself but that's my review here in general about five guys and not necessarily the one in Indiana that I've just ate for the first time. I had taken the survey from my receipt too and given my feedback as well on the five guys website survey. Ambiance was noisy

On the way to our annual family picnic Saturday, we stopped in at this location and found it very good. Now I'll be the first to admit we might have gotten a bit lucky because we were there when it opened ... and probably got the freshest chicken it would serve all day, but it was really good. You'll notice that the reviews here seem to be 5 stars or 1 star ... and that may just be the time of day people visited or their luck, but we enjoyed the chicken at the picnic and will be back next year at the same time.

What I did not expect was to meet Brandy, the single most pleasant, joyful, sunshine-powered human to ever wear a headset and hand out biscuits. From the moment Brandy said "Hi, welcome to KFC!" I felt like I had been personally chosen by the universe. Her energy was so warm and happy that I briefly considered asking if she offers life coaching, emotional support, or motivational speaking on the side. She was upbeat. She was kind. She was thriving. I ordered chicken, but I left with hope. Brandy didn't just take my order -- she elevated my entire day. The food was great, sure, but honestly? I would've happily driven away with an empty bucket and a full heart. Give this woman a raise, a promotion, and possibly her own morning talk show. If you stop at this KFC and don't leave in a better mood, I regret to inform you that you may be immune to joy. 10/10. Would return for the chicken. Would sprint back for Brandy.
