MOD pizza is delicious and my go to when I want to treat myself or need a pick me up meal. The San Tan location was a new to me but it was clean, spacious with several table inside and a few outdoor seating. I had minimal interaction with the staff since I place my order on the MOD app but seemed was pleasant and I got my order within 10 minutes of ordering. (Love the app you get points for every order and can redeem your points for menu items). They way it works is you have the option to customize your pizza/salad or pick one of their individually sized signature pizza Ex: Caspian, Dillon James, Lucy Sunshine, etc) for the same price. I do agree the prices have gone up but that is sadly happening to a lot of restaurants and affecting the customers. I ordered the customized mod size pizza. You choose your size (mini, mod or mega). They offer a variety of sauces and cheese options for your pizza, you choose your unlimited topping for one price and can finish it with your choice of sauces. I top my Mod size pizza with only veggies: mushrooms,peppers, onions, broccoli, corn, jalapeños, tomatoes, artichokes and I love their balsamic fig glaze and buffalo sauce on the side. Staff was amazing even 30 minutes before closing time, got a pizza and salad. The calexico pizza and Greek salad were both exceptional. We were a party of four and when we walked in there was no one there but the workers. They all looked our way as we walked in and no one said hi. We approached the counter and the worker just looked at us waiting to hear what we wanted. My pizza came out lukewarm and it probably could've been in the oven a little longer. It went from lukewarm to cold in like 2 seconds of it being on the table. Tables were dirty and I had to wipe down the crumbs from the table and chairs we wanted. All the other tables also had crumbs on them. The trash can by the door was full and hard to throw away more trash. MY TASTE BUDS ARE DANCING ! My favorite thing about Mod is you can build your own pizza. If you want extra pepperoni, just ask! Extra veggies, just ask! I never feel embarrassed to ask for more of an item since the staff is always so nice. The toppings are so fresh and the pizza dough is so flavorful! Just recently tried MOD Pizza for the first time. It was pretty good. The concept is pretty similar to Chipotle, where you pick out your ingredients and the worker puts together your pizza, then they stick it in a wood fired oven. The interior was spacious and clean. The girl at the counter wasn't very friendly and seemed to be in a rush, which was weird because it was almost empty. My Mom got a Margherita type pizza and loved it, my Dad got a Hawaiian. I'm giving a rating on primarily on cleanliness for this location. Love MOD Pizza and have been to many locations and will return again and again. Food is fantastic. People are nice. However, this location is regularly lacking in hygiene. The place is always filthy. Today was especially bad. I don't know why. It's not because of a "rush", because there's dust everywhere. Dust settles. Greasy fingerprints, dirty glass counters and random specs of food on surfaces outside the kitchen area. My family loves the MOD pizza in Buckeye and this location did not deliver that Dave same experience. When I first walked in two young ladies was behind the counter and no one acknowledged my presence AT ALL (feeling quite awkward at this point)!! The one of them finally came up to me and asked "How was I doing" and I tried to make a little joke to break the ice. Well, that didn't go well, she quickly said "What size" before I could respond I told her what size and she just turned around....uhm, okay. The other young lady, come over and finished making the order. The atmosphere felt so "blah" and I was hoping the pizza didn't taste the same way. The cheese pizzas came out good, but the Domonic tasted like NyQuil Avoid the bathroom at all cost. It's needs attention with bleach involved. I thought it was just me that was on the "do not greet" list when entering, but to my surprise so was another employee. Kept fumbling with the pen and didn't know how to write the order on the slip. None of the staff were friendly. Found this great pizza place while I was waiting for my lunch at kneaders one day and we gave it a try a couple days later for dinner! They make it quick and you can select anything you want (or don't want) on your pizza. Awesome prices for absolutely anything you want on your pizza!! They have great salads with all the same options. Staff were great and the pizza was delicious! Lots of great options and we have been coming here for almost 4 years now I think. It's absolutely delish, YUM! But every time I place an order, I immediately call this San Tan Mall location to ensure that my Mike's Hot is on the side, not on the pizza. Each time, even after talking to a team member, my pizza arrives covered in hot honey... drenched guys! Tonight, I placed my traditional order and once placed, I called the store. I spoke with a rep, Nathan, and... to say the least... he was completely rude and didn't have the time for my request. In fact! He told me " I'm doing three different things at the moment..." I won't be able to say enough good things about the service. I walked in with my best friend because we both had a long day of working and just finished shopping. We were on yelp at the mall to figure out what we were craving and MOD pizza had a lot of tremendous reviews so we decided to stop by and give it a try. So, walking in, we were greeted by the busser. We stepped towards the line and had to really look at the menu since we didn't know what to expect. The first guy in line asked if we had ever been here before and we said no. The menu is comprised of the classics and some ideas for you to order if you didn't want to create your own. I can't remember what my best friend ordered but it was the spicy one on the last row of the menu while I created my own. The guys preparing my food were more than nice and happy to serve me. I was really nervous because I didn't know what I wanted on my pizza before I got in line. I had to wait and see every time they asked me so I seemed high maintenance with a "little bit of garlic" and a "little bit of red onions" and a "some oregano" but they were very kind to me. A normal 11" pizza was $7.97 with a thin crust. It filled me up and I still had leftovers to bring home. However, my best friend and I are young adults that don't eat too TOO much so you may finish your pizza and still be hungry, so there is a bigger pizza option for around $10. We waited for our food as the manager shouted names in the most lightheartedly loud and cheerful way to pick up the pizza. He did this for every customer and it was fun to listen to, haha. You then get to choose a finisher for your sauce and you had options to choose between spicy buffalo, red sauce, ranch, and more. You could always have it on the side if you didn't want it over your pizza. He also gave us a sauce to try that was like "liquid crack" as he said and it was VERY good, LOL. I told him this was our first time here since I seemed super indecisive and he even offered us a free cinnamon pizza. They checked on us and were super nice about giving us caps and lids for our food. The busser basically didn't let us clean up when we walked to the trash can because he said he got it, he was also very nice. Honestly, I would just come back here for the service I received!
