BBQ chicken pizza minus the gorgonzola and add garlic

Deliciousness. Couldn't decide what to eat on a Sunday evening Pizza it is! Service was awesome. We were greeted as soon as we entered. We picked the crust and the sauce and the fresh ingredients then paid then the pizza was popped in the oven The ingredients could be cooked a bit more on the top. The bottom seems to be crisp but the toppings are wet/not cooked enough. The is a great place. I'm not complaining-just making an observation

This is the Chipotle of pizza. Always freshly created with no limits and same price. February 9th is National Pizza Day, I wanted to get ahead of the crowd. This observance began in October 1984, and was created by Gerry Durnell, the publisher of Pizza Today magazine. Some people observe National pizza month by consuming various types of pizzas or pizza slices, or going to various pizzerias. There are many ways to celebrate pizza. Pizza was first invented in Naples, Italy as a fast, affordable, tasty meal for working-class Neapolitans on the go. While we all know and love these slices of today, pizza actually didn't gain mass appeal until the 1940s, when immigrating Italians brought their classic slices to the United States. Modern pizza evolved from similar flatbread dishes in Naples, Italy, in the 18th or early 19th century. The word pizza was first documented in 997 AD in Gaeta and successively in different parts of Central and Southern Italy. Pizza was mainly eaten in Italy and by emigrants from there. https://www.google.com/search?q=National+pizza+day+2022&rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS749US750&oq=National+pizza+day+2022&aqs=chrome..69i57.796j0j7&hl=en-US&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8

A pizza with a thin crust, topped with melted cheese, tomato sauce, and slices of pepperoni, is placed inside a plain brown cardboard box. The pizza appears freshly baked with slightly browned edges and is cut into slices. The box is open, revealing the entire pizza, which is centered in the image.

Horrible quality control. The cheese pizza for my son literally had a few sprinkles of cheese. It was mostly crust and sauce. The Dominic pizza also has hardly any cheese on it. It's mostly crust- dry plain undercooked dough with only the center having any cheese. Don't spend $40 on crappy pizza.

The Maddy - A round cheese pizza with a thin crust, topped with melted cheese and tomato sauce, is sliced into four pieces and served on a white plate. The pizza appears freshly baked, with slightly browned edges and a cheesy surface. It is placed on a wooden table, with part of a metal container and other objects visible in the background.

I wpuld definitely come back again. The food was yummy. We ordered 1 Maddy, 2 Mad Dogs, and 1 Jasper. I asked for Mike's Hot Honey Sauce on the side.and i think thats my newest addiction. It was so good we went back and ordered another Maddy and Jasper because it was so good. Staff was friendly and environment was clean. They also have a rewards prog.ram so I would recommend you sign up before you go to redeem your free no name cake.

Storefront - The image shows the exterior of a MOD Pizza restaurant with a brick and beige facade. The large sign with the MOD Pizza logo and name is positioned at the top of the building. The entrance features glass doors and windows, with a person walking into the restaurant. The parking lot in front has a designated accessible parking space with a blue sign and a wet surface, indicating recent rain.

Let's start with the Covid-19 precautions first. The employees were gloved and masked. The tables were well spaced. However, there was no hand sanitizer and strangers in line would get rather close. They were right next to each other because they were distracted while picking out toppings. The people making the pizzas need to stop pushing the pizzas right next to each other. People follow their pizza. We love the pizza topping choices because; if you pick the right combination of toppings, your pizza will always be great tasting. No one in the DC area has more variety of unlimited toppings than Mod pizza. The quality of the toppings is very good. My wife and I picked the following ingredients: tomato sauce, pesto sauce, sausage, pepperoni, mince garlic, mushrooms, onions, corn, green peppers, roasted red peppers, avocados, olives, Mozzarella cheese and oregano. It was incredibly well rounded and savory. The key to a well rounded flavor profile is to pick ingredients in at least 3 flavor categories. Sweet, salty, sour, bitter and umami are your 5 flavors. For example, olives are salty, corn is sweet, red pepper is sweet, cheese and meats are umami, pepperoni is salty and umami, etc. Umami is roughly equivalent to savory. If you love salty, pick salty toppings, but counter it with something that is a little sweet. You'll be amazed at how good it will taste compared to just salty. Pick the right combination and you get a great pizza. We found out that their only dessert was called, No Name Cake. Looked like a Hostess Ding Dong. The dining room, kitchen and restrooms were clean. The service was accommodating and friendly. Even though there was a line of people, the pizza didn't take long. . We are definitely coming back.

I have tried MOD pizza at several locations. (All 5 star) Very surprised about the consistency of their pizza. I got the "Mad Dog" ... extra meat, including bacon, Asiago cheese, and grilled red pepper. They will make it any way you want it!!! Super value... keeps me coming back for more. This location is very bright and comfortable. I really like the metal tops on the tables. They have a larger oven that I have not seen in other locations. While the pizza was cooked to near perfection, it seemed to cook for a much longer time than usual (4-5 min?) While this is not the best pizza I have ever had... It is way .. way ... up there! Tasty stringy cheese, no nugget meats, fast, hot, and friendly, a great deal.

Skippers Pier - Mussels

Skippers Pier

Skippers Pier was awesome. It's a local spot, on the marina. They have plenty of parking but I feel…read morelike it's still not a enough on a busy night. They have dinning room seating, bar seating (inside and pier side) and outdoor seating (pier side and on the roof of the pier bar). Plenty of space to accommodate large parties. I found this place because of the fried green tomatoes and they did not disappoint. The tomatoes were full of flavor and topped with some delicious shrimp salad. We ordered the chili orange crush wings. They were big!! The flavor kept me saying "these are REALLY good". For the main course I went with the snow crab steamer and a side of applewood bacon collard greens. First of all, I should have ordered two of the collards. I was finished before I knew I had started. They were cooked just right , gor me! The potatoes that come in the steamer met the same fate, buttered seasoned goodness. Service was friendly and fast. I can't wait to check this place out in the warmer weather. Hope I can find a parking spot :)

Boy has this place gone downhill. What a shame... I grew up going to skippers with my family and…read moreremember, back then, the welcoming service and yummy seafood. A recent visit included rotten coleslaw, limp frozen-not-fresh shrimp and stale bread on a poboy, and Maryland crab soup ruined by poor quality canned veggies. Our server was also so brash and rude, especially to the (well-behaved) child at our table, most of us were afraid to request anything.
