This pizza never disappoints. I prefer thin crust, but pan is pretty decent -- not too doughy or chewy. Either crust is a win, actually. You really can't go wrong, especially if you play your toppings right-- which I always do: extra mozzerella + pepperoni + green peppers + sausage (1/2). The sauce-topping-crust ratio makes this my Top 5 pizza spots. I always look forward to using up my pizza points...and whatever other coupon codes (www.retailmenot.com) I can find. read more

In an attempt to patronize local businesses, this one fell short. I know times are tight for restaurants but I don't recommend short changing your customers. If you do, they will not return. I wish that I could give this 0 stars!! I've ordered from Vocelli Pizza before and it was awesome, but tonight was something different. The buffalo chicken pizza was missing the ranch, toppings on one half, and the buffalo sauce (see pic). The spicy bbq wings were poorly put together and the meat lovers pizza was super doughy and dry. I'm not sure whose working tonight but obviously they did not give a f***. In the mood for pizza, I decided to try Vocelli's. I placed an order for a 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 cheese pizza. The online process was easy and the staff promptly delivered my pizza curbside with a smile. The pizza was decent...alittle "dough-y" which I suppose is what I deserve for ordering 30 minutes before close. The pepperoni was crispy around the edges, which I really enjoyed. Vocelli Pizza, I've been wanting to try this pizza for years. I didn't realize there is one here in Waldorf. It's the best commercial pizza in the area compared to Dominos, Papa John's and Pizza Hut. Dominos was good in the 1980s, Papa John's was good in 2000. Vocelli is the best to me today as far as commercial pizza. What happened to the Mom and Pop pizza joints? Worst customer service! Never delivered pizza, when I called they told me it just left the store after waiting an hour for delivery. Waited an additional hour called again. I am writing this review AS I SIT HERE AND CONTINUE TO WAIT for my incomplete order. Where is the quality control? How does your delivery driver forget items. Why is the receipt not checked before you walk out to deliver. And why does the consumer have to call MULTIPLE TIMES to remind you to send ANOTHER driver out. The pizza was ok. Finally, another place to order delivery food in Waldorf! We don't have nearly enough of them so I was happy to see Vocelli's menu on my front door one day, and even happier that they had more than just pizza. My husband and I both ordered delivery. He had the stromboli lunch special and I had the half meatball panini special with a house salad. The food arrived quickly and was pretty good - this is takeout after all. It was nice to have sandwiches on the menu and with a choice of bread... I had the ciabatta. It was warm and chewy, not tough or hard like I've had at some places, and the meatballs were really good. It was also nice to have a salad on the side, and there were different types to choose from. When I asked my husband how the stromboli was, he said "ok", which is a compliment from him. Their timing could be better, BUT there pizza is straight FIRE. I am not into spicy like that, but their buffalo chicken pizza is where it's at. I usually will do half buffalo chicken/half Hawaiian and order a side of their vocelli rolls which are also THE BEST THINGS EVER! This will hold as my lunch for work for a few days but I'm telling you they know their pizzas. I would definitely recommend. I just moved here from the west coast and have a hard time finding a good place to eat or even a good place that would deliver food. Vocelli pizza is definitely a place to order take out or delivery. The food is great. We have ordered pizza, pasta, salad, chicken tenders, and deserts. My husband is from NYC so he grew up eating NYC pizza so it was hard to find a place that would even come close, but Vocelli has come closer than other pizza chains or small pizza shops in the area. I wish the Waldorf Vocelli Pizza had online ordering though. According to their website there are other locations that have online ordering and it's open 24 hours a day. read more

Smaller than I expected, I thought it was a full on Italian restaurant but it's just a little pizza shop. The pizza is amazing and so is the stromboli! In the past when I've ordered stromboli from other places it's typically like trying to bite into a brick! The stromboli we got was absolutely perfect; it was soft like a bread stick but held very well even after being cut and having so many meats and cheese. We got the Chicken Pesto and the Chicken Spinacci. The only thing I didn't like about the Pesto were the olives and that was my fault for forgetting to tell them not to put them on the pizza. The order came out very quickly, the cashier and phone operator were very friendly. 10/10 will go again read more

I would have loved to support this business. We just moved and received a free large 1 topping pizza coupon in the mail TODAY. It says to mention a code when calling but the worker taking my order said it was invalid code. When I said I would not be able to come to the business in person until later due to my sleeping child HE HUNG UP ON ME. I'm not sure why they would send out coupons with invalid codes on it. Considering it is super bowl night we figured we'd be waiting a bit for our order. After a little while we got our food and got a free brownie for waiting. First of all, the ordering process itself is a fantastic educational tool for learning about different types of crusts and cooking methods for pizza! Their signature pies always seem very enticing but I'm a creature of habit with a five-year-old picky eater as my partner in crime so it's usually a pepperoni for me and cheese for the little one (she likes to have her own little box). They obviously can't compete with the prices of Dominos or Papa John's but I have no qualms paying an extra dollar or two for a pizza that tastes like it came from a family owned Italian Pizzeria. First time I've ordered from here upon moving to Waldorf. Very glad to find a place that delivers promptly and on time. Got email saying details of my order then saying it was prepared and then saying how it was out on delivery so I could keep tabs on where dinner was. Got the spring vegetable and Quattro cheese combination - very good. Also got the buffalo wings and the side Garden salad. Also pretty good. Definitely going to be calling these guys again. Been living here for 7 years and just tried this place out. Pizza, wings and bread stick bites were pretty good to me. I got the thin crust half mushroom and half pepperoni, delish! Second pizza was regular crust half bacon and half extra cheese, pretty darn good. Bread sticks could use a little more browning but tasted great and the garlic wings were tasty and crispy. Will definitely be ordering from here again. My 20 month old twins loved this pizza which makes me love this place more because they are indeed pizza snobs! read more

On January 9, 2021 I was adding to an order in my car outside the restaurant. After I ordered my friend asked me if I saw the employee put her hands in her hair(with no gloves) and continue putting food in the boxes? I didn't but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Then I actually saw her put her hands in her hair and start working again. I immediately got out the car and went to address the issue. I informed them that I was a chef and that is a complete violation of ServSafe. As I'm talking another employee ( not wearing gloves) rubs behind his ear, I was so disgusted! I told them in this climate we are in with COVID, sanitation is Imperative! I canceled my order and left. It's sad that you can't order food without being worried the restaurant is following restaurant sanitation guidelines. So i usually have a great experience with this business until today. Ordered my pizza and wings. When my order arrived The wings were missing and the pizza was cold.. When i called to speak to the manager who was very rude i explained that my wings were missing. He says you didnt order wings. Ok but my pizza was cold. He tells me that its football sunday and they only have 3 drivers and they are busy so thats how it is sometimes.. So i pay for quality service and expect that. WILL NOT be ordering from them again. Sue, who was the first delivery person I met when I moved here a couple of months ago, is amazing. I was very disappointed in the fact that they refused to deliver our pizza last night. Our road has a sign that says Road Closed to THRU traffic, which means they can come down our street, deliver the pizza and go back out. After about 45 minutes our pizza still wasnt delivered. I had to call them to find out where it was. They put me on hold for 10 mins and came back and said that all the roads were closed due to some accident. There was NO Accident. The person who answered the phone said that they were going to cancel my order. I asked to speak to the manager and he said that the driver would not go down my street, I asked him if he would send a different driver out. He finally agreed but my pizza was Ice cold when it arrived 1 1/2 hours later. They have been down our street before since the road has been closed with no issues. They just lost a regular customer. If I could give 0 stars I would but the system wont let me. So very disappointed since their pizza is normally really good. read more

I found this pizza place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Well, I am glad I did. The website was set up a little different to place the order but I was able to figure it out. If you order online they give you two 3 topping pizzas for $7.99 each. I thought that was a great deal. I called the restaurant to make sure that I input my order online, correctly. The gentleman that answered the phone was very nice and extremely patient, which was great. I received a text letting me know when my pizza would make it here. That I liked as well. The driver made it here 3 mins later than what the text said but it still made it here pretty quick on a Friday evening. The delivery driver that delivered to me was nice, courteous and professional. My order was fresh and omg I enjoyed it. Everyone in the house enjoyed it. I ordered 2 pizzas and some garlic boneless wings with honey mustard dipping sauce. On one of the pizzas, I had pesto sauce, chicken, cheese, and bacon. Delicious! The other pizza had half cheese and half onions and green peppers. All of it is gone and everyone was satisfied. I will order again. One comment: they need to work on answering their phone faster because I started not to order. I had to call back a few times. That may be due to it being a busy Friday but I am sure they missed some business that night. Almost missed my business. Good job with everything thing else, I am glad I called back. read more
