Moved out of Waldorf so whenever I get a chance I come back to Ledo's for that nostalgia. The pizza did not disappoint! So delicious & just as I remember. The service was quick, as I ordered a small half cheese half pepperoni pizza. This is the only crust I can eat, and I love the sweet sauce mixed with the cheese and the perfect pepperoni. The square slices just seal the deal. Was pretty empty on a Sunday night, which was good for me. The employees were kind and the restaurant was clean. Will be back again! read more

How is it that even when the cheese is piping hot it STILL has the cheese pull of an ice cold cheese stick. I took one bite and flew over to Yelp to see if someone could confirm if they handed over the store and they obviously did. Disgusting. First, I rarely give negative reviews. Second: Be aware, the original "Ledo's" was sold apparently a year or so ago. Third, notice they are now "Ledo". Fourth, they have now moved to an undoubtedly cheaper, nasty, cardboard tasting crust, that looks pre-made, that is doughy and synthetic tasting, and not at all like the original Ledo's that many of us came to love. Fifth, the manager at this location (a woman who refused to give her name) was disrespectful, unprofessional and rude -- stunningly so! While I was eventually refunded what I paid for the garbage pizza I received (after alot of rude and disrespectful interaction), I could never recommend this location, and frankly cannot recommend "Ledo" pizza as long as they continue cutting corners. Our pizza had an alcohol taste, I know with dough this could be for a few reasons but in all the years of going to this Ledos have never had this issue. So just decided better to not eat it. I've been a long time supporter of Ledos (Festival Way) but after today, highly unlikely to return. The pizza used to be robust in flavor. From the sauce, to the cheese, toppings and crust! Now, no flavor at all. The sauce is different. Ledos sauce had a sweetness to it and what I had today did not taste like classic Ledo's. I opened a jar of ledos sauce I have at the house to compare and two different flavor profiles. The pizza crust is NOT the same. Overall, the pizza was not over cooked and the pizza crust should be able to fold and not break. This crust is crispy as crackers. The pizza crust I'm used to was lighter in texture almost a little floury. Toppings had zero flavor. Even the bacon lacked salt....no clue how that's possible. Not sure why the change happened but it's far from the Ledos it used to be. Wings were great but the wings should not rank higher in quality & flavor if you are known for your pizza. read more

Ledo's has been here for years but we actually kinda forgot about it!! We have come here many times over the years but probably hadn't been for at least 2 years. We just never remembered it when thinking of a place to eat. My nephew wanted to come here to eat for his birthday so that's how we ended up here recently. We really enjoyed it!! We've gone back twice since. Their pizza is just so good. It's unique how they serve it in the rectangle shape and is just nice for a change. The crust is light and delicious and they are very generous with the toppings! I got a ham and pineapple pizza and it was sooo good. The best ham and pineapple pizza I've had anywhere in awhile! My husband got an order of hot wings and he said they were great. They were hot, fresh and crispy! My son chose a bacon pizza and he loved it. It had tons of bacon on it! A couple other reviews complained about bad service but we haven't had a problem with that. We've been 3 times recently and have had great dining experiences. It has been about a year since I had Ledo pizza. I decided to order lunch from the Waldorf location; I've never tried this location. I arrived and my pizza was ready. While it was alittle overbaked, it was pretty yummy. I just wish they would use more than one piece of pepperoni per square. I have always loved this Ledo location, even before my family and I moved to Waldorf. It is clean and the staff is always SUPER nice, friendly, and fast. Even when I am quoted a wait time of an hour+ for a call-in order on a Friday or Saturday evening, I bite my tongue and just wait it out patiently because I always know that our food (whether it be pizza, salad, wings, etc.) will be hot, fresh, and tasty! Even dining in is a pleasant experience. We recently went for my son's schools' Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) fundraising event and even with the dining area staying packed with families, our waiter Kurt and the other young lady were amazing! Handling the tables like real pros! My fav is their cheese pizza --- It's like heaven in a box, literally! Mouth watery goodness! Please do yourself a favor and stop in. After 3 years on the west coast my husband and I decided to try Ledo's again. We were never fans of it when we lived in Southern Maryland years ago, but we always give second chances. This place hit the spot regardless of our east coast sub sandwich withdrawals (where anything might have tasted better than what we have been eating). My hot Italian sub was 98% perfect. A little heavy on my requested "hots", but other wise delicious. My husbands only complaint was having one sub size. His chicken parm was exactly what he wanted, but he requires a bigger portion. The online ordering was simple and the woman who waited on me was very nice. 100% will eat here again and I am hoping that it will be consistent and delicious. We eat at this location often, but today was a little different. We sat down,ordered our food and sat for over 30 minutes before anything was brought out to us. The restaurant wasn't too busy, but it was Saturday and lunchtime. As we waited, i watched our waitress play with her hair, remove dirty dishes from tables, use the cash register, sweep the floor, handle cash, touch her boyfriend fresh shaved head (yes, this happened), and later rubbed her nose while carrying empty pizza boxes. I was ready to leave, but instead i approached her and asked her to please wash her hands before bringing me my food. She said she would, I don't know if she did, but of course her demeanor changed a little after i approached her. We finished, i left her a tip, don't know if i will be back to this location. I used to love this ledos location! Their pizzas used to be the best in town but now the quality has deteriorated. The last couple of times I ordered large pizzas they were paper thin. So thin my slices were super limp and my toppings were falling off. When I asked why they were so thin I was told that a change was made by the corporate office. However, when I go to the ledos in laplata the crust is perfect they way that ledos is known for. On top of the pizzas at this location being super thin, this ledos no longer allows you to split toppings into 1/3 or 1/4 of the pizza. You can only do a half and half pizza which is utterly ridiculous! Lastly, they won't even take the time to make sure the pizza it sliced well. I ended up having to use a knife when I got home to cut my own slices for my family! So now I drive the extra few minutes to laplata to get a ledos pizza the way it used to be in Waldorf. Came in with my best friend and god daughter to dine in, it was self seating. No one greeted us at all but kept looking over at us. One person was eating ice cream from sweet frog and the other came from around the counter got himself a drink and went to the back. I go there for carry out and my family loves the pizza. One night my son's football team wanted to go. Great I meet some parents there and we were asked to leave because the kids were loud. Now given I've seen other teams in there I thought that was rude and my son keeps telling people we got kicked out of Ledos. THE WORST MANAGEMENT EVER I'm here worth a kids birthday party that was scheduled and pre-ordered yet they have taken 30+ minutes "confirming" the order to the frustration of the parents & kids. This is when I encountered THE WORST "ASSistant General Manager" - NICOLE (I can't give my last name). "You can't order here and eat here, it's against the owners policy", she says. I say, but I'm dining in an NO WAITRESS has come for now over 45 minutes. She says, "because she's trying to get y'alls drinks." I say, "y'all? I'm gere because my son's at the party; I can see she's too busy for the other tables, so I'm ordering my food here ... that should not be an issue and it's still revenue -- you should get someone to help her if we all must wait on one party." She says, the owner won't allow it. After trying to reason with her that the SALE is most important, not where it is placed ... she is firm. I ask for the owner's details ... she says "He doesn't like it to be given out." I finally get that his 1st name is "Frank" and he's a franchise owner BUT THERE'S NO # for him. I'd mention that were are all black and that she's not, and that she's clearly disturbed by the delluge of "y'all" ... but for something known & not said, it's just what "y'all" know is going on. So ... I'm in the process of getting in touch with Ledo's Corporate offices regarding this mysterious owner and his ASSistant General Manager, Nicole. Who had 4 people working behind the counter with NO ONE to serve, but they can't take my order. Who has TWO waitresses for the dinning area but ONE can serve all of "y'all" and when other customers cone the other will take care of them. Who can't/ won't give me proper information for a complaint. And ... who WALKED AWAY TO THE KITCHEN while I was talking to her ... and never came back.
