It can be a hit or miss. Several times the pizza has been black and overcooked, but lately I've noticed a bit of an improvement. The taste is good overall and quality seems to be decent. read more

This pizza wasn't good at all and maybe it Maybe it was because I came toward the end of the night, but this was definitely a waste of $30. The toppings didn't seem properly melted into the cheese, and the pizza tasted like it wasn't cooked all the way through. The flavor was just okay overall. I definitely wouldn't order the same thing again. If I ever gave them another try, I'd probably go earlier in the day and keep it simple with something like a pepperoni pizza. read more

I had a cheesesteak minus the cheese. The toppings were plentiful, well seasoned and fresh. The bun could be better and maybe toasting it would help the sogginess. I ended up eating the second half of the sandwich minus the bread which is when I realized the meat was dry and lacked flavor. 6/10 with potential The kids enjoyed the pizza. Great price with their Monday - Tuesday special 8.99 for a large cheese or pepperoni pizza. They smelled amazing and were steaming hot when I picked them up. Kid rated 8/10 This place is bigger than it looks from the outside. Plenty of inside seating though the vibe is definitely more of a carry out. Inside is dated but clean. Food was ready within the estimated 15 minute time frame. Plenty of parking. read more

Decided to try this place out even tho our neighbors said otherwise. The pizzas looked picture perfect! They were cooked perfectly. The crust was hand tossed and thin enough to get crispy and cooked in a oven that charred the crust perfectly. We ordered a meat lovers pizza and a chicken bacon ranch pizza. Coming from 2 chunky guys, we needed more toppings (at least make it to the edges of the crust) and less crust for our pizza (crust was easily 1/3 of the bites). Especially at the price point, everything should look professionally done and taste excellent. It felt very skimped for being their signature pies. Tbh for being a 10in pizza priced at 15$ each, we would have rather grabbed a frozen pizza. The red sauce was lacking flavor, but you could actually taste alot of herbs from the white (ranch?) sauce. Again all the toppings seemed to gravitate towards the middle of the pizza as clearly seen in the pictures below. There was a line (around 8 different people) picking up but 4 employees. So might need more man power to help with the quality control. They did tell us 30 min, and we were back in 30 and the pizzas were ready so the time quoted was on point. Jake n kev read more

I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The pizza is one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten. Pizza had no sauce, dough not properly stretched, and the place is felty. read more

The business went downhill when new ownership took over. Quality if food is not the same.

Pizza and wings were good. kids working in the kitchen were cursing and telling their life stories louder then they needed to be.

Ordered a customized pizza with crabmeat last night. My fiancé brought it home & it reeked! Upon smell & first taste, it was definitely spoiled / old crab meat. We ordered a crab meat pizza from them before which was tasty, but this was just a horrible waste. If I could smell it, I'm sure the employees could smell the bad shellfish also. read more

Great pizza. Fresh ingredients. So much better than a Dominos. We did take out, but there are tables for dining in.

It's been a while since I've posted a review and right up to today and maybe one other time, we've raved and loved the pizza from here. I'm not sure we will be ordering again. Ordering: Always nice and smooth online and pick up is with 20mins. Ambiance: Very cozy and relaxed feeling. Tables are social distanced and everyone is wearing a mask. Customer Service: Everyone is always super friendly ! I gave them Two stars because the young men taking care of us was very apologetic and really tried to make things right. Pizza itself: Pizza looked great but it looked great last time as well. This is the second time we have ordered a pizza and got home to take a bite of pure raw dough. The last time this happened, because we love this place and are all about supporting local businesses, we put it back in the oven at home and enjoyed it. I still kept the issue in the back of my mind for next time. Rewind to today and thankfully we live 5 mins from the location because when we arrived home and got comfy, bam, mouth full of raw dough again. Very disappointing because we thought, "there's no way this would happen twice in a row". So, we got back in our car and returned the pizza. They were very apologetic but you could definitely tell this seems to be an ongoing issue. We went back into our car to wait on a new pizza and guess what, we checked it before leaving and RAW though again. At this point, we just decided to get our money back and go some place else. There was a young lady at the front who yelled "you're out of luck today" not sure if that was suppose to be funny, but not the right time for jokes. We ended up at subways. I'm all about second chances because we all make mistakes but hmmm it's one , I'm not sure I'll be going back to. I really hope they can evaluate the issue and resolve it because their pizza is usually great! read more

Could be better! Food was good but it depends on the time of day really. Service is good. Environment seems a little uncomfortable..... judgement of others maybe? read more

I enjoy their pizza. However it seems they changed their pizza dough. It is much thinner than before and was a little disappointed. But overall I will continue to order from them. read more

This place is outstanding. Their pizzas are freshly made, dough to toppings. Delicious!!! It's family owned, they cook in a stone oven, and the people are absolutely wonderful. There are sometimes a bunch of kids working, but they "get 'er done." Their hours are strange, but if you're nearby, they deliver between certain hours. Also, there is another one in Waldorf. read more

Pizza is great. I love the barbecue chicken pizza. It's the best pizza in the county.

Great pizza! The wood fired oven provides a great flavor and many of their combinations provide a,very flavorful bite each time. My neice requested the Obo pizza for her college send off a few weeks ago, because it was on a Sunday (they are closed) we got them the night before, reheated in a slow oven and they were great! My family tries to get a pizza, whenever they are in town, they like it so much! Service is very good, We usually do take put, but it is a quaint small setting if you eat in read more

New to the area and bout sick of Domino's so I thought I'd give it a try. I was a little skeptical as homegirl said she had uncooked dough so I was like meh. Probably a fluke, let me try it anyway. She wasn't lying. I was so damn hungry that I inhaled the first slice and didn't even check that on the second slice, I saw the uncooked dough. It was dough in the middle but cooked at the ends. Probably what you get when you have a brick pizza oven, could be pretty hard to regulate the temperature with that joint, heck idk. Either way, it was still good. Sauce was rich, pizza was hella cheesy and the toppings was fresh. It was ja like pricey but real food cost so meh, it's a cost I'll incur cause it was good. Would I do it for a pizza party, hell no but for a large for yourself (cause it's really a medium, think LEDOS except round) then sure. Def worth a visit. read more

Food is nasty and the employees are rude forever messing up orders and all I definitely will never go here gave them too many chances

I'm obsessed with the pizza PERIOD! The customer service could stand for improvement. Although I never dine in (only pick up), it still would be great to receive friendly inviting service. The girl at the register barely looks up let alone says hello. Again, the pizza is soooooo good though! read more

I was rooting for this family owned restaurant, so I gave them a few chances. But, their food doesn't work for me. First pizza I ordered was when I moved to the area about five years ago. First time, I walked in and flies surrounded the salad bar. Second time, a few months later, I picked up a pizza and the cheese was moldy. I ordered a pizza not long ago, but my pizza was cold and it tasted bland. read more

I've eaten at OBO pizza twice already and both times, I was very satisfied! Every time I am near the naval bases, this has been the go-to and I am surprised by the quality of the pizza. It's freaking good for a small house-Shack like location outside of a naval base IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. The prices are good as well and there's a feeling of homey-ish as I can tell that it is a family owned business. I always order the Hawaiian pizza and it never fails to make my hungry belly happy :) When you order your pizza, you wait a couple minutes and it's ready. Oh by the way, they cook the pizzas in the brick over, that's freakin awesome. Who knew a small house turned into a pizzeria has a brick over inside?! Then there is a little table next to the door where condiments are placed as well as utensils and plates. So you take whatever you need (Parmesan cheese, pepper flakes, garlic powder) then you can sit down and eat pizza. There is also outdoor seating which I enjoy a lot. Many people come here and I'll be coming back every time I have to work on base and need lunch! read more

It wasn't always the best. I heard something happened to the family owners so business went down. I crab pizza was always my favorite. Customer service seemed better at night than during the day. Very home style pizza. read more

No Thanks! I like to support local businesses but I think I am done supporting this one. Forget the fact that the County requirements for wearing masks were not being followed or enforced. At no point was I confident that there was anyone responsible running the place. It felt like mom and dad left the kids alone for the day and the kids wanted to try running a pizza restaurant. When I got home, one half of one of my pizzas was not fully cooked. Not acceptable for a place that charges that much for a pizza. Support this business? No Thanks! read more

I just moved to Indian Head recently, I've had OBO previously at the Smallwood location in Waldorf with no complaints. I've had lunch here twice, both times a personal pizza with a Gyro and it was delicious! The pizza was cooked perfectly, the first time the pizza was cooked a little more than the second time. The second time it was much more gooey. Both times I ordered via phone order and my order was taken accurately and politely, my food was ready within the estimated time provided. I will definitely recommend OBO for all your pizza needs their Gyros are addicting! read more

I like Obo pizza it a nice little spot, not to nosy or too crowded. In Indian Head it's nice to have somewhere that this town can call their own. The pizza is comes in one style that is hand tossed, the sauce is robust and has a balance of sweet and salty. The crust is flaky and has a nice bit to it. All in all the product is what you want in a pizza. The customer service needs a little work, such as; a couple of weeks ago the place was crowded and when I came in everyone was looking at each other's confused about who was next to order. I went straight to the front and order my usual and people were looking at me like I stolen their spot. The young man that took my order was confused as well whom was next. read more

Based on the five star reviews and very convenient location I gave this place a try and I can say I wasn't disappointed. As soon as I entered I was greeted by the staff who was eager to serve. I was impressed by the menu, offering unique pizzas you can't get at just any pizza joint. I ordered The Greek Pizza which is a brick oven pizza with kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, gyro meat, baby spinach, feta cheese, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. The pizza was full of flavor and the ingredients were very fresh. The price was a bit high for a personal pizza but presume the value justifies the cost. This cozy, "hometown" restaurant and courteous staff definitely left a positive impression. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! read more

Living in the town of Indian Head Maryland it is hard to find great places to eat. It's minimal to find to say the least. We have a gem called OBO pizza. They have some of the best brick oven pizza in the area. The customer service is always great. The food is always delicious. There are several varieties of pizzas, salads, sandwiches and wings. The food is pretty good, but a bit pricey. A large pizza isn't very large--about the size of an average medium pizza elsewhere.

Fabulous pizza and Italian/ Greek favorites! Best pizza and gyros in Charles County! Fast and courteous service. Highly recommend!

Me and my husband love eating here. The pizza is ALWAYS cooked just right and fresh! The buffalo chicken is good and they don't skimp you on the chicken part. My husband usually gets a couple of different toppings on his and there's usually a lot of each so you get a lot of bang for your buck. The only down fall is that sometimes there's a mix up somewhere and I get a bbq chicken pizza instead of a buffalo chicken pizza. But there both pretty good ;) read more

OBO Yee pizza Would I drive all the way down Indian Head Hwy through boarded up no man's land to where the road ends for this pizza? Would I shell out $20 a real wood fired brick oven pie? Are you a pizza connoisseur or a bowling pin shaped shut in that spends all day gaming and only has time to step away from the PlayStation for the Dominos delivery guy? Since you don't get out much (except when Dominos runs its $7.99 weekday carry out deal) I'll school you on why you should fork out your $20... This is true wood fired brick oven style (not propane). Hand made dough Proprietary in-house sauce 101 toppings available (give or take) Front row seating area to watch the deliciousness being created Cool guys (with no arm hair) to chat it up with while they work on your order If you are into processed pizza that comes out of a gas fired robot that chugs out $5 pizzas on a metal conveyor belt...have at it. If you want a memorable meal... go to OBO. Bottom line: I would come by and give you a ride to OBO's but I don't hang out with unshaven, non-bathing dudes wearing VR goggles on their head. *Side note: legit brick oven pizza maker guys have no arm hair because tossing hard wood logs into the back of a 1200 degree oven cooks their arms to medium rare. There...now you can stop pondering that one. read more

The 411: this is a small, inviting restaurant that serves pizzas cooked in a brick style oven. Everything about the restaurant is great...except for the steep prices. The service has always been kind to me. Order at the front counter or call in ahead of time l. This place has a huge drawing from Indian head naval base during lunch hours. Be advised when considering for lunch. The pizza itself is pretty good! Sauce is not too sweet and their other toppings are really fresh, including their mushrooms. My only gripe is that their pepperoni appears to be pre-sliced and doesn't curl up like the better pepperoni I've had in other restaurants. They also have a pretty meh salad bar if you want a salad. Their buffalo wings are fried and on the smaller side. Still really yummy. Again, the price is steep for all menu items, including the wings. My favorite specialty pizzas are the dyonesius (pardon my spelling), and the Mediterranean. Try those, or make your own pizza combo. This option is the most expensive, as toppings are $2 each. The crust is on the thinner side considering the area. It's also less crispy and more stretchy dough consistency. It does, however, get a good flavor from the brick style oven. Bottom line: this is a very nice option for pizza in the Indian head area. Not really worth the price, but they have the monopoly on decent pizza in the area. I think you'll like it! Give it a try. read more

I LOVE OBO's. The pizza is amazing, subs, and wings SO good!! If you haven't tried it, you definitely need to ASAP!

Basically a carry out. Pizza had a lot of cheese but not much else. The brick oven was nice but there is a lot of competition in pizza. If you like cheese pizza, go, but there are other places closer...unless you live in Indian Head. There aren't many options close by. read more
