This pizza was sooo good. My first time ordering from here. I always forget that it's there due to the location. But this pizza gets 5 stars from me. I will be back again. The price is kinda high for the pizza. read more

OBO Pizza - Achilles Pizza (Large) - Pizza Near Me - Waldorf, Maryland

OBO Pizza is a local chain that has 3 locations - one in Fredericksburg, one in Indian Head, and the location in Waldorf. Never heard of this place, but we decided to give this place a try for lunch, as we had heard about their cheesesteaks. We ordered: +a Cheesesteak - opted out of the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and the red pepper relish, and just stuck with the mayo, fried onions, salt, pepper, and American cheese; this was super delicious! It was greasy, juicy, flavorful, and super generous in the filling; the roll was soft, too, and we thought this was prepared pretty well! +Gyro Wrap - served in pita bread with onions, tomatoes, and a huge dollop of the house tzatziki sauce; this was a bit forgettable, as it could have had more gyro meat; the pita bread was soft and fluffy; wasn't really a fan of the thick tzatziki sauce +a Four Cheese pie - topped with provolone, mozzarella, cheddar, and feta; probably one of the worst pizzas we've had; it looked pretty trashy, as you can see slices of the cheese that were used, rather than shredded; the tomato sauce was more on the sickly sweet side and had an offputting taste to it; the crust was super soft, and didn't seem like the 'brick oven-style' that the place was touting Staff were very friendly! There's only a couple of tables inside to dine-in, but most seem to call ahead and take to-go orders. Definitely would return for the cheesesteaks! Located in the Smallwood Village Center, there's ample parking available. +cheesesteaks! +friendly service +limited seating inside +located in the Smallwood Village Center +ample parking read more

Prices are too high. I stopped going there 2 years ago. No one in their right mind is gonna pay 16.00 for a 10" pizza, absurd, addios!

Burnt azz pizza. It was nasty. I struggled to eat the one piece, but threw the rest away. I've been here a few times now, both bad experiences. Come on OBO pizza in Waldorf MD, YOU CAN DO BETTER. The transaction ID is S385098716856337. I expect a full refund. Look at the pictures, I can't lie about this. OBO PIZZA IN WALDORF MD YOU CAN DO BETTER. Ordered a great steak & cheese pizza late Wednesday night. Not sure who made it but it was incredibly delicious!! Keep up the good work guys. I appreciate the customer service and again great pizza read more

Not the tastiest and a bit pricey for mediocre. Nice staff! Food was a bit bland and didn't taste very well.

Korean pizza is crazy good. The flavors just work try this place out even if it's a drive we were pleasantly surprised. read more

Delicious with vegan cheese!! Excellent customer service. I highly recommend OBO pizza

LOWKEY our new fav local pizza spot! Placed a call ahead order for pick-up to celebrate #NationalPepperoniPizzaDay and ordered a large, you guessed it, pepperoni pizza, and a personal size cheese pizza. The nice young lady on the other end of the phone quoted about a 20min wait and they were right on point, no more no less. When I walked in, I immediately noticed the blazing brick oven in the middle of the place! Gave me real authentic pizza vibes! Along with the ah-mazing aroma of freshly baked pizza! Our ride home was total torture! Both pizzas were extremely tasty, our pepperoni was a little more greasier than the cheese but not a biggie. Both crusts were really soft and had some burnt-ness to the edges, but nothing overly burnt. The sauce was also nice and sweet! Overall, both pizzas were a hit in our house! I definitely will be back (sooner than later) to try their other specialty varieties of pizzas, subs, and wraps. read more

Good all around pizza joint. The pizza oven alone is awesome to look at and will rock your socks off. The pizza is good however a bit too much cheese and not firm enough for my taste, as I'm a plain cheese pizza type of guy. At OBO I request the pizza to be cooked crispy and not too much cheese. The end result is really really good! Customer service is always top notch and the rewards program is great. I'll continue supporting this local chain! read more

OBO Pizza - Large Cheese pizza (crispy light cheese) - Pizza Near Me - Waldorf, Maryland

The presentation was nice, the store had a clean look, everyone had protective mask on, I seen soap at a sink so that was a plus on behalf of the workers. Good pricing. I was not thrilled by the quality of this pie. The sauce had a hint of sweetness to it. I thought I was about to dive into something amazing but it was regular. I wanted to try something new but it was okay. I would go back but not a top 5 choice here in Waldorf. To each it's own read more

Amazing Ranch Chicken Bacon Wrap it is huge & Love the Korean BBQ Pizza! Try them out you won't be disappointed! read more

Truly good food of any kind is hard to come by in laplata/waldorf. This is the most expensive pizza in town for some reason, but it's also the best tasting pizza within a 45 min radius. The prices suck but it's the only place i can stand to order from here in podunk. Pro tip for perfection: bring it home. put it in a COLD oven, turn it to pre-heat at 410°. when it hits 410°, take pizza out. it'll be crisp perfection. you can thank me later. OBO, please consider not price gouging so hard. and please keep up the good work!! read more

I had the captain obo pizza and it's great. Love the Smokey flavor of wood fired buck over pizza.

Their pizzas are really good and authentic. My favorite is the four cheese and their Greek. Highly recommend.

EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! We had an awful experience with OBO Pizza, to include unprofessional management and ownership. We have eaten here several times, pizza was generally pretty good, staff could use improvements in customer relations, professionalism (several staff members just stand there talking/joking when customers are at register trying to place order). On a busy weeknight, we needed a quick dinner for our family and chose to order a pizza for carryout. Picked up in 15 mins and were home digging in. As we're eating, our 14-year old daughter starts screaming "There's a wasp baked into my pizza!!!!" Sure enough, there in plain sight, there was a WASP baked into her pizza!!! (See pics) The worst of it didn't end there unfortunately, that was only the beginning. We called OBO Pizza, told them what we found, and that we would be on the way back up there to address the situation. My husband arrives to speak to the manager, who denies any wrongdoing and refuses to take any responsibility, even blaming us for this issue. As if we would spend our own money, put a dead wasp on our pizza, and go through the inconvenience of driving all the way home to feed our family, only to have to come all the way back at 9:30pm to deal with this?!?? Beyond frustrating!!! Then the staff member who apparently made our pizza begins yelling from the back that "she knows there was no wasp b/c she made the pizza" My husband is furious at this point and simply asks for a refund. The manager refused to refund our money, and proceeded to call the police in order to avoid dealing with an unhappy customer and addressing the situation as an experienced manager would. My husband waits for the police to arrive, has a discussion with them about what happened, and since nothing can be done by law enforcement to force management to resolve an issue, it's all a waste of time. The owner arrives soon afterwards so we're hopeful that he will address the situation but NOPE, same thing... refuses any responsibility and the saga continues. Unbelievable situation... we ended up having to dispute the charges with our bank and the restaurant never took any responsibility for anything. Honestly, we spend so much money eating out in the Waldorf area, and there are too many quality restaurants to support rather than ones where ownership, management, AND staff are all lacking. Never, ever would we consider visiting OBO Pizza again, and absolutely cannot recommend it to anyone else... DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! read more

The service was nice. Food looked decent but boy was I unimpressed. First of all I love wings. These wings had noooooo flavor but the hot buffalo sauce they were tossed in. Which as you can see didn't stick very well if at all to the wings. The skin on the wings was so chewy I threw them in my air fryer to cook a little longer and they were still bad. The pizza was just ok. Needless to say I will not be returning and I wanted to like this place. Also the nice lady prepping what looked like a gyro did not have on any gloves. read more

The wood fired pizza can't be beat! Love the Alfano White pizza! Service is solid and the pizza is awesome!

We ordered a grilled chicken sub to split. It has grilled chicken, cheese and basil. The bread was chewy and over all it had good flavor. I'd like to go back and try their pizza. I saw that they had a brick oven so I'm curious if their pizza is as good as Ny pizzas. The service was quick, but there was barely anyone in there when we stopped by. read more

I expected a lot more for $33+. It was ok, on the level of domino pizza. Expected ground sausage but they were sitting on top sliced from a link. Pizza was not fully cooked. Olives keep falling everywhere. Nothing good about brick oven here. Hi read more

The pizza itself was good, however a little too greasy. If you are going to eat from here, I recommend you opt for delivery, or carry out. DO NOT DINE IN, as the store front itself is dirty, had an uncomfortable amount of flies and was quite cramped. It was a little unsettling seeing the workers handle food with no gloves, and left the toppings station out in the open (in front of flies). However, the pizzas and food served here are good, and is worth it (if you choose delivery). read more

Had a cheeseburger there yesterday with the works It was off the hook. They also have pizza and wings. Try this place you will like it.

This place has changed a lot since Covid. All new owners and workers. They don't speak English very well and the cook was a little short with me because I couldn't understand what he was saying. I ordered the steak and cheese which was pretty good. But the store looks less than pleasant. The ambiance is kinda cold and secluded. read more

I can only rate them on their soft serve ice cream station because that's the only thing I tried while there. Will have to go back to review their pizza and the inside of this location. They have a soft serve window on the side of the building which I couldn't refuse finding out more about. It was interesting to me that a brick oven pizza place would have a soft serve walk-up but it's really cute and the soft serve ice cream was really good! The menu is really simple. Vanilla and chocolate are the only flavors they have and you can get a kids cone, regular cone, sundae or a cup. The cones are cake cones and the kids cone, which is what I got, is pretty big so I doubt I would ever get the regular size one. They have traditional sundae toppings like chocolate, strawberry etc and a couple upcharge ones like gummy bears and sprinkles. The prices were all under $5 with a kid cone being under $2. Was pretty weird to me and the staff that I was getting one in October while it was pretty breezy and gloomy looking outside, so next time I'll wait until the weather is more appropriate for it. I'm glad I found it though and I will be going back! read more

I like their fresh ingredients over the processed material slathered onto the synthetic dough circle from other more well-known establishments. My fave is the Sagapo pizza. Everything always tastes delicious and incredibly fresh. read more

OBO was a nice surprise! We had lunch for 2 on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't busy so the pizza was cooked quickly. All the ingredients were fresh, the toppings and cheese were plentiful. The medium was just enough for 2 people (6 small slices). We also had fries and buffalo wings. The fries were nothing to rave about, but they were hot and there were plenty of them. The buffalo wings were cooked fresh to order. The sauce was tangy and spicy. All in cost for our lunch experience $26 (this includes drinks). We will be back to try this place again. read more

The pizza was awful. Never again. The pizza was soo burnt I couldn't taste anything else; not like there was anything else to taste. It had such little pizza sauce that I thought they forgot it and had to take off the cheese to check. I could see certain spots with sauce within the slice but it was very sparse. read more

My favorite pizza spot! I get their pizza delivered through Grubhub. The brick oven pizza served here is no comparrison to other pizza chains like dominoes, papa johns, or pizza hut. The flavors are good and the pizza is cooked to perfection. The only downside is my friend has an allergy and the worker I spoke with could not confirm if that ingredient was used in their pizza. read more

Can't go wrong with this spot. Everything I've had ftom here has been great. Well seasoned

OBO is the shit ! Definitely recommend! The pizza is super good and fresh the wait time isn't bad and the people who work there are nice!

My favorite in the Pandora specialty pizza. T always get the Obo Calizone. I always order take out so I can't comment on the in-dining experience. As far as takeout it hits the spot for us as far as non-chain pizza. The Greek stuff is okay but there are much better options for fresh Greek food in Waldorf & La Plata area. read more

Move over Waldorf Pizza Places, there's a new kid in town! The paint is barely dry on the walls in the place, but they do make one hell of a pie. OBO is a brick oven pizza joint that has plenty of toppings to choose from. They make their own dough and do everything right in front of you. We had the 'Pandora' pizza, which is a basic pepperoni with diced tomatoes-we added green peppers for good measure. The pizza was phenomenal! They burn real wood in the brick oven which imparts an amazing flavor on the pizza. The sauce they use is great, you can taste the love that was put into making it. If you're looking for a new place to get a pizza in Waldorf, this is it! If you're familiar with Ouzo's in La Plata, this is owned by the same people. I asked the woman at the counter what OBO stood for, and she said 'Ouzo's Brick Oven', after Ouzo's in La Plata. read more

I tell ya what... My fiance and I moved to central/southern MD 2 months ago, and just now found, what's possibly the best pizza we've had in the dmv... If you've never been to OBO Pizza, down in Indian Head, MD... You're missing out. Their customer service is top notch... I ordered pizza for pick up, Saturday night, at 9:02pm. Got there about 9:40 and the place was pitch black, and locked up tight. 2 vehicles in the back, running and seemed like they were getting ready to head home. I walked up and mentioned that I ordered pizza, blah blah blah... Next thing you know, they walk in and make 2 pizzas and a calzone. It's 10:15 before they end up heading home (they close at 10). I 10/10 recommend their pizza and will 10/10 get their pizza again. read more
