When Pizza Hotline popped up on the app, I knew I had to check this place out because, one, I thought their name was super cute, and, two, I saw that they had Cheese Bread on their menu! This family- owned and -operated pizzeria has their original location out in Charlotte Hall, so I thought it was interesting that they had opened up another location in the La Plata area. Their menu offers various appetizers, salads, pastas, subs, calzones, pizza rolls, pizzas, and desserts. Be sure to check their online ordering system out as they also offer coupons and specials. I ordered a small size of their Cheese Bread, which was Pizza Hotline's freshly made dough, topped with garlic butter and a 3-cheese blend of mozzarella, white cheddar, and provolone, served with a side of both the house marinara sauce and a Grandioso's garlic sauce. The Cheese Bread was made-to-order, and it came out PIPING HOT - it was super cheesy, and I loved that there was no upcharge for the garlic sauce and it automatically came as one of the dipping options! We ordered in person, and we were quoted that it'd be ready in about 10 minutes or so - we were actually waiting in the car, and the friendly employee actually came out to hand over our order - super nice! There are a couple of high tops inside for you to dine-in, but this seem to be more of a carry-out type of a place. I loved their vintage Coca-Cola hanging lamps! I'd be interested in trying out their pizza, calzones, and their pizza rolls next time! Service was very kind, friendly, and welcoming! Thank you for satisfying my cheese bread craving, Pizza Hotline! +Cheese Bread! +made-to-order and served piping hot! +friendly & kind service! +online ordering available +parking available in the front

Tasty Hard to discover - but this little hole in the wall does a dang decent job making a delicious pie. Consider this a pick-up or delivery spot. Look for coupons that come in the mail flyers

We picked up a large Hawaiian pizza and cheesy bread and both were delicious. The bread came with garlic butter and marinara sauce for dipping. Lots of toppings and cheese.

Definitely a place that can be easily missed (I almost passed it) as it's a small place alongside a large shop that does framing etc. This is def not an eat in place, only carry-out. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and it was some of the best pizza that I've had in a long time. My daughter and I ate the whole thing within minutes. I don't think I've ever seen her eat that much pizza at once. They do have a website that is currently under construction but you can still place online orders. The staff was friendly...they spoke and passed me the pizza. I think I've found my new pizza place. Local and the pizza is great, definitely a plus!

The absolute BEST pizza I have ever had, and such friendly service. So much better than Dominos or Pizza Hut. Highly recommend!

Pizza Hotline needs to open a Waldorf location. I have to drive to Charlotte Hall or Laplata to get a Taco Pizza.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally got my chance. I got there around…read more2:00. It wasn't very busy, maybe two tables. Since I was alone, I just sat at the bar. It's a small restaurant in a shopping center very nicely decorated. My server Elmer greeted me right away with water and a menu. He explained that everything is homemade, even the desserts. The menu isn't huge, but it has a good variety across the board. I looked at the specials first l, I wish my wife had been with me because the salad special sounded great and we usually split one. The entrée specials also sounded really good. I was already thinking to myself I'd probably be back if this meal was solid. I usually order chicken parm when I go out for Italian, but I wanted to switch it up, so I went with the lasagna. Elmer told me I'd enjoy it and said the noodles and sauce were very good. Someone brought out bread with a garlic and oil mix. The bread was excellent crunchy outside, soft inside. The garlic and oil was good, but I'm more of a butter guy. I like a lot of butter on my bread, especially bread like that. When the lasagna came out, it looked amazing. The person who brought it asked if I wanted Parmesan cheese. I said no thanks I don't like changing the flavor unless I taste it first and feel like it needs it. First bite.....Excellent. The sauce had a lot of flavor, the noodles were tender, and there were a lot of layers had to be six or seven. Not like some places where you get three or four and mostly cheese. I ate the whole thing and used the bread to clean the plate. Elmer and the other servers kept checking in to see if I needed anything. I like seeing that kind of teamwork where everyone helps out, not just their own tables. Makes for a better experience and you're never waiting around if you need something. When I finished, Elmer asked if I wanted some of the "apple cobber." Funny thing -- when I first looked at the dessert menu, I noticed that typo and wondered if that was really the name. I asked him about it and he said it was a mistake and hadn't even noticed. I was surprised no one caught it before. I asked for the cobbler to go, but he actually recommended the tiramisu instead, so I took his suggestion. Later that evening I tried it and it was superb. Even my wife, who doesn't like coffee, liked the bite I gave her. While we were talking, Elmer gave me a sample of their espresso martini. I'm not big on cold coffee drinks, but it was actually pretty good. Definitely something I'd order there. Overall, one of the best Italian meals and service I've had and I'll definitely be back. I just wish it was closer to home if they opened up in Prince Frederick in Calvert County, I think they'd do great. Right now all we really have is Ledos Pizza

It's consistently tasty and well-seasoned, though a few times there were a few scales left on the skin. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting. The vegetable side dishes tasted very fresh and complemented the meal nicely. And surprisingly, the mushroom risotto was actually really good, coming from someone who isn't usually a fan of mushrooms. Our son is a fan of noodles and enjoys the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. We've had the food delivered or we picked it up.

So we drove a good 30mins to get here, with anticipation from seeing this restaurant on a travel channel, but the original location is in NY. We get there, and its plenty of free parking. We ask for seating for 3 and we are told they are only seating individuals who booked a reservation. Totally understandable considering its Valentine's day. I dropped the ball folks. I didn't make a reservation. So I noticed a bar lounge which we were told we could wait for a seat to open up. As we were waiting a coupled jumped in front us and took a seat. The manager Claudia came to the rescue like the dark knight but with more grace. She mentioned she was willing to put us on the list for a table in the main dining area. I accepted her kind gesture and continued to wait for bar lounge seating to open up. A couple was kind enough to come over to us and ask if we were waiting for bar lounge seating. They offered their table to us as they were ending their night. There was a 2 man band playing in the lounge area that was very soothing to the ear. As I tried to help my mother get comfortable at the hightop table, I noticed she was having a difficult time getting seated in such a high chair. Guess who came to the rescue, you guessed, Claudia! She's the best, 100 grand, made me a real fan. So she came over and said our table was ready if we wanted a booth seating and we all know that's the best seats in the house. All I could think is look at God. The wait wasn't even long either. 10 out of 10 for saving the day. In addition our waitress was such a sweetheart. I mentioned a white malbec I saw on the menu that I was astonish to see b/c I never knew of such a thing. She bought me a small glass to taste and my God, I am a true believer Jesus turned water into wine. Its so clear like water but the taste is amazing. The food is so delicious. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very personalable. Everyone cartered to us. You would have thought we were the Obamas or something. As we were stuffing our faces, Claudia comes around handing out roses to the men/boys to give to their dates. Complimenting my son and his daper outfit she hands him a rose and tells him to give it your mommy. At the moment he lights up with a big smile as if he paid for the rose himself. I can tell he felt like a gentleman and good that he could give his mother a red rose on Valentine's day. That small gesture was very thoughtful and appreciated. I apologize for my essay, but they desired it. I love the service, the ambiance, the food, and service. I haven't seen my mother smile so much in a while. So it bought me great joy to give my mother this experience on Valentine's day. I thank Nonna Angela's staff for such a wonderful experience.

LOVED the Calabrian Shrimp Skewer ... the chili and lemon butter sauce was delish. LOVED the Blackberry Whipped Ricotta and the Honey Goat Cheese Sacchetti ... TMI butttt my lactose intolerance prevents me from over indulging. BUMMER. Much respect for the Chicken Toscana ... flavorful and juicy. I thought the sausage/lentil risotto was a tad overcooked but not a deal breaker. Would most def order again. I'm not a big dessert person (and you already know I had to skip the Italian Cannoli Sundae b/c of the ice cream) but, again, KUDOS on the presentation with the crushed pistachios and chocolate curl which was more like a chocolate straw. As for the wines: *LOVED the Prosecco (always my fav along with a Sauvignon Blanc) *Respect the Moscato (especially after learning Taraji P. Henson collaborates with the Seven Daughters brand) *Respect the Pinot Grigio (but, just to repeat, I prefer Prosecco and Sauvignon Blanc) *I am personally NOT a fan of red wine ... especially Red Blends but I respect the McBride Sisters brand (#BlackGirlMagic) and would most def use it in a future sangria. When my friend asked me to pick where I wanted. I said I wanted to visit the Mia's in Old Town, he laughed, and said, "Mia's? That's what you want?" Mia's was absolutely what I wanted. On a weekday, Mia's in Old Town was packed! By 6:30 p.m. it was hustling and bustling, he was surprised too, he had never been and he was impressed by the patronage. He doesn't eat what he calls casual dining. Although a little loud and tables close together, we managed to catch up, talk, and just appreciate time to reconnect. I would not recommend this as a first date but definitely date night worthy. Not dressy but perfect for work attire/causal dining. Ambiance is great, busy, live and popular. Service was excellent. Happy hour is available but only at the bar, it was so crowded we didn't get to pregame. Let's get into it!
