This family- owned and -operated pizzeria has their original location out in Charlotte Hall, so I thought it was interesting that they had opened up another location in the La Plata area. Their menu offers various appetizers, salads, pastas, subs, calzones, pizza rolls, pizzas, and desserts. Be sure to check their online ordering system out as they also offer coupons and specials. I ordered a small size of their Cheese Bread, which was Pizza Hotline's freshly made dough, topped with garlic butter and a 3-cheese blend of mozzarella, white cheddar, and provolone, served with a side of both the house marinara sauce and a Grandioso's garlic sauce. The Cheese Bread was made-to-order, and it came out PIPING HOT - it was super cheesy, and I loved that there was no upcharge for the garlic sauce and it automatically came as one of the dipping options! We ordered in person, and we were quoted that it'd be ready in about 10 minutes or so - we were actually waiting in the car, and the friendly employee actually came out to hand over our order - super nice! There are a couple of high tops inside for you to dine-in, but this seem to be more of a carry-out type of a place. I loved their vintage Coca-Cola hanging lamps! I'd be interested in trying out their pizza, calzones, and their pizza rolls next time! Service was very kind, friendly, and welcoming! Thank you for satisfying my cheese bread craving, Pizza Hotline! +Cheese Bread! +made-to-order and served piping hot! +friendly & kind service! +online ordering available +parking available in the front

I've been to Galazio before and have generally had good experiences, which is why this visit was so…read moredisappointing. I came in specifically because I wanted fresh, brick oven-style pizza and did not want chain-style pizza. I ordered the Pandora pizza from the menu because it was advertised with pepperoni, tomato, and fresh mozzarella. That detail mattered to me. I intentionally chose that specialty pizza instead of building my own because fresh mozzarella has a very different taste and quality than the standard low-moisture shredded cheese used on many pizzas. When the pizza came out, it did not taste or look like fresh mozzarella was used. It tasted more like a frozen or chain pizza, which was exactly what I was trying to avoid. When I asked the waiter about it, I was told they did not have fresh mozzarella, even though the menu clearly advertised it. After going back and forth, the server brought out different cheeses, including what appeared to be fresh mozzarella, which only made the situation more confusing. They then remade the pizza with burrata, but it was not properly prepared. The burrata was just placed on top in cold/lukewarm globs and was not melted into the pizza. It was not appetizing and did not resolve the issue. The service got worse from there. After I raised the issue, the waiter stopped coming back to the table. The owner ended up bringing out the additional items I ordered, including dessert. When the bill came, they tried to charge me for both pizzas even though the first pizza was the result of their menu/service issue and was still sitting on the table. I had to push back to have it removed, and the response felt dismissive and unpleasant, as if I was wrong for speaking up. My issue is not that mistakes happen. My issue is that the menu advertised fresh mozzarella, the pizza did not reflect that, the replacement was poorly executed, and the service response made me feel like a problem instead of a returning customer with a valid concern. For pizza specifically, I would not recommend it. If the quality is going to taste like chain pizza, I may as well go to Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Ledo's, or Little Caesars and pay accordingly.

Our service was fast and easy. The server was very kind and helpful. As for food, I got the meatball and chef salad which were both exactly what I'd been hoping for, but with a little let down. (Causing the star drop) The meatball was a great flavor. It came with a beautiful red sauce and bread on the side (would've liked for it to have been warm and toasted, with garlic butter). I think it may have been slightly colder than it was hot, but the flavor was still wonderful. Salad was fresh, crunchy and a hefty dinner portion. Perfectly layered, very well done salad. Filling and satisfying

Really, Rucci's ought to have AND ENFORCE a no-loud-conversations policy so that people can enjoy their dining experience more. This could be a really nice place with that type of commitment to proper decorum. Our food was very good and portion sizes were big. It was greasy, juicy, flavorful, and super generous in the filling; the roll was soft, too, and we thought this was prepared pretty well! +Gyro Wrap - served in pita bread with onions, tomatoes, and a huge dollop of the house tzatziki sauce; this was a bit forgettable, as it could have had more gyro meat; the pita bread was soft and fluffy; wasn't really a fan of the thick tzatziki sauce +a Four Cheese pie - topped with provolone, mozzarella, cheddar, and feta; probably one of the worst pizzas we've had; it looked pretty trashy, as you can see slices of the cheese that were used, rather than shredded; the tomato sauce was more on the sickly sweet side and had an offputting taste to it; the crust was super soft, and didn't seem like the 'brick oven-style' that the place was touting Staff were very friendly!
