I would say this is the "typical" Taco Bell: lack of quality, over-priced and under-portioned. Spent 5 minutes trying to connect my personal profile with their kiosk without success. Ordered to-go, didn't want to sit there when my home was less than 10 minutes away. By the time I had gotten home, the food was mostly cold, flavorless and the Mountain Dew Baja tasted more like seltzer than soda. I originally tried to fill my cup with Dr Pepper and noticed my cup was filling with more carbonated water than Dr Pepper syrup so switched it to Mountain Dew Baja Blast, still not much better. Stopped here right after lowes. The drive thru was busy around 8 pm on a Friday. The teller was super polite dealing with the car in front of me. That man needed a nap. This Taco Bell is easily one of the worst food places in all of La Plata, I have gone here multiple times and every time something is missing from my order, I'm spending 20+ minutes waiting in or out of the drive through and the service is overall lacking. Food items are often times not fully cooked and are still cold, they don't put equal amounts of toppings and especially meat in the food. I wouldn't even consider donating this to homeless people that how bad my experience has been. We as Americans have the right to pig out on some heavenly Taco Bell and to have that withheld from you is a deeply upsetting experience. Honestly every time I come here I always have to check my bag because I'll pay for extra avocado salsa and never receive it in my bag. Their new tagline should be "check the bag because we lag". I must say I am completely shocked with what I witnessed at this location. I went to the drive thru and as I pulled to the entrance I drove through a huge cloud of weed from the two male employees that were smoking behind the business. However, this is the third or fourth time I've come to this location and I've requested extra nacho cheese specifically and paid for it and once again was very disappointed. Disaster. The young lady at the drive through came onto the intercom with a very short manner. Just rude, giving the impression we are on her time. We attempted to come into the Taco Bell around 11:37 discovered that it was locked. My family and I said okay, we can just get on the drive through. Firstly we were prompted with the automated system asked for a code for the app which I didn't even know about. But we viewed the menu decided what we wanted, a young girl came onto the intercom and said "Yes" inside I was like wow. That's top tier customer service right there. This review is not really for the food. I mean, I dig it, but it's fast food. I'm probably too old to be eating at Taco Bell anyway, but I can't help it. Really this review is about the workers and the overall atmosphere. I'd previously gone to the location on Smallwood Drive in Waldorf. But that location was run down and never looked clean, the workers always appeared unkempt, the food took a long time and they consistently burned any grilled burrito. So I started going to this location instead, even though it's a few minutes further. The workers are always polite and look clean and put together. The restaurant itself is up-to-date and kept neat and tidy. My food comes out quickly and cooked properly. I've generally been resigned to receiving lousy service at most restaurants these days, but am pleased that this Taco Bell seems to be run properly. There was an insect in my drink ( looked like a large mutated flee or something) and the manager was pretty nonchalant about it when I brought it to his attention. Also, the girl in the drive thru window was pretty rude as well. And I'm one of those people that makes sure that I'm extra polite when ordering from places because I don't want anyone messing with my food. Trust me, I've seen first hand what they do behind the scenes to rude costumers. So, if you're an employee and you're rude to someone like me then you have a real problem. I mean, it's fast food.
