We visited Fiesta Tex-Mex on New Year's Day, and the restaurant was quiet and not crowded, which was nice. Service was very slow, though I give a bit of grace since it was a holiday. Unfortunately, the queso was disappointing...,very watery and lacking any spice. I ordered a shrimp taco (without tartar sauce), and the shrimp was overcooked. My friend had the Fiesta Lime Chicken; if you order it, I recommend getting it without the chips, as mixing chips with grilled chicken and melted cheese created an odd texture. On a positive note, the beans...while a little soupy, were flavorful and included ground meat, and the pico was fresh and delicious. The rice tasted more like plain rice than traditional Spanish rice. We didn't order any drinks and stuck with water. Overall, I'd give this place 3 out of 5 stars. Since it was New Year's Day, I'm open to giving it another try to see if the experience improves.
Nice inside, staff was friendly, while there waiting for takeout we witnessed a good number of people picking up orders so that's always a good sign that the food is good, will return to eat at the restaurant to enjoy a drink next time.
We got seated immediately and our waitress was nice. There are tvs and lights and the space is pretty big so that you're not eating on top of someone. We started off with the carne asada fries, which I think would have tasted a lot better without the beans. The steak was pretty good though. Taco bowl was basic but flavorful, the taco bowl was light and airy too. Kids cheeseburger looked dry, but at least the bun was buttery lol Shrimp birria ramen noodle soup was good but confused on where the birria part comes in. Would recommend & would go back!
I made a to-go order and enjoyed most of the meal. I got the taco salad with extra chicken and shrimp to go along with the beef. Those flavors, coupled with the guacamole, salsa, sour cream and pico de gallo provided a flavorful and satisfying experience. I also got grilled fish soft tacos and those were good too. The whole fish (tilapia) was fried a little too hard, making the meat tougher than it should have been. While this was a fail, the rest of the meal was very good.
Came on a weekday for lunch walked right in with no wait. Restaurant was clean. Service was decent no small talk or personality. Chips and salsa came immediately and were fresh and hot. The salsa was not my preference. The birria tacos were excellent. The rest of the food was bland.
I checked this place on a Monday afternoon, so it wasn't particularly crowded when I went. It has bright decorations and very clean inside. The staff were also very pleasant. Chips and salsa also came out before we ordered. I ordered chicken fajitas. The food came out quickly and was served piping hot. The chicken fajitas appeared fresh (bright, colorful veggies) and were also served with two home made tortillas. The taste was lightly seasoned, so if you're a person who does not like your food heavily salted, check this place out. Parking is free and easily accessible in front of the restaurant. Great place to grab lunch or dinner. Pricing is also comparable to other local Tex Mex spots in the area.
Two visits. 1st one, Fiesta Texmex Fajitas (shrimp, steak, chicken), bacon smash burger and carne asada fries. 2nd visit, carne asada fries, steak and shrimp fajitas. I must say, the carne asada fries are scrumptious! Definitely a must order! Customer service, no complaints.
I love fiesta tex mex and will be a returning customer . The food is always hot and tasteful . Great customer service they are always attentive and quick to bring whatever you need . I've never waited more than 20 minutes for my meal . Only wish is that they served alcohol too but the great food makes up for it . Ambiance is nice and family friendly ,you're always greeted upon arrival and the staff always provides great food recommendations. I was so hungry forgot to take pics of my sons food too lol
This was my first time here seeing that Waldorf is a pretty far ride from me. Everyone really enjoyed their orders and the staff is really nice and it's a pretty nice size restaurant decorated with bright colors. Parking is available as they are located in a big shopping center so you have ample parking. Fish and shrimp tacos Chicken sandwich Quesadillas Veggie burrito
This place has really yummy food and really friendly and quick service. We have been here twice this month and about to order for a third time. I'd say they are known for their Birria which you can get in a multitude of dishes( eggrolls, tacos, pizza). My recommendation would be to try them out on a weekday afternoon.
We went here on a date evening and enjoyed it. We had the Carne Asada fries, Sweet Chili shrimp tacos, pile-high nachos with beef and chicken, Santa Fe chicken salad, and lemon pepper wings. All were well-seasoned and temperature-appropriate. We were seated promptly by friendly wait staff. The restaurant was clean and not loud despite the number of TVs. The mister really enjoyed it, too. We'll be back!
I've been here a few times now and I can't believe I haven't take more photos!! I am so happy we have a new delicious place to eat in Waldorf! Let's talk about the food in the photos. Both items are delicious. The salad is on the menu as chicken caesar, but they allowed me to sub the chicken out for shrimp. The dressing worked really well with the shrimp and croutons. I don't believe the tacos are on the menu, we learned about them on taco Tuesday when they have a special and you can get multiple different tacos. Otherwise, when it's not taco Tuesday these come as a set of 3. Other foods we've tried: the jalapeño poppers - these were so delicious and perfectly breaded but sad to say too spicy for me to enjoy: the chicken egg rolls - my wife loves them and starts with them every time, I wish they had a meatless option for since I don't eat chicken *tears*. The fajitas are also delish! Drinks - no alcohol here yet (license pending) but I just know the alcoholic drinks are going to be amazing because their homemade lemonade and teas and amazing!! All of their flavored lemonade is good and they know it too because there are no free refills for those. They do allow refills on the teas and fountain drinks of course. We love this place - give them a try and you will too! Restaurant size is spacious w/plenty of parking and friendly staff!

Our first visit to the restaurant and I will definitely be back. We had two different types of fajitas and both were delicious. Everything was well seasoned down to the black beans. For drinks we ordered an old fashioned and a mango margarita, we also got to sample the strawberry daiquiri, they were all made to perfection. Our server was also the bartender, and was able to remain attentive to her tables while also making drinks. She was also kind enough to run our to-go bag out the car when we left it on the table. Thanks, Madison! The atmosphere was great and they were preparing for live music when we left. read more
Taco Tuesday!! We stopped in for a quick bite at lunch. Fiesta Tex-Mex in Waldorf was a solid visit overall. Service was excellent. Extremely attentive and friendly from start to finish. The food came out super fast and piping hot, which we appreciated. We ordered the birria tacos and shrimp birria tacos. The flavor was good, but it did feel like the shrimp portion was a bit skimpy. Not enough shrimp just a lot of cheese. Also disappointed that they don't offer cocktails, which would really elevate the experience, so one star deducted for that. Still a good spot if you want quick, hot Tex-Mex with great service read more

I drove 30 mins each way for this crap. The rice is hard/undercooked. The veggie fajitas was not made to be eaten with tortillas as the pieces are too large. The nacho only has stuff on top and not made with store made chips, they should be ashamed of lying and charging so much. read more

Was looking for a spot with birria tacos close to home. And I hit the loteria with Fiesta Texmex. Forget the other Mexican restaurants in Waldorf, this is the real deal! Trust a Mexican girl straight out of San Anto! Only thing missing is homemade flour tortillas and their liquor license. read more

A local social media influencer I follow really enjoyed this spot so I decided to give it a try. I went on a Friday evening Pros: we were seated quickly Service was a little slow but the hostess checked on us frequently and the server apologized. The restaurant had a nice color scheme with orange and yellow hues. The fajitas came out sizzling hot and the meat was delicious and the lemonade was very tasty ( no refills on these specialty blends) The usual chips with dip was good. Cons: service was slow in the beginning but got better No alcohol ( I heard them tell a customer they are applying for a liquor license) if you care about that. But... no margaritas at a Mexican restaurant ! I swear I cannot find many Mexican / Tex mex restaurants that serve tomilito that so good mashed corn dish. When I asked about it the server didn't know what it was. Oh well that's my own person issue. Noone else probably cares but why oh why can't I get this?! Also usually with fajitas they ask you what kind of beans and tortillas you want. They didn't ask me and I forgot to inquire until I saw my plate. I'm not sure if you have a choice or you get what it comes with. Any way great little spot with friendly staff and I hope they succeed. read more

I enjoy myself every time I come here and I hope they never change. The food is fresh and delicious. You can tell it's made from scratch. The service is wonderful. All the staff are friendly and courteous. They bring appetizers, drinks and food quickly and check in on you just frequently enough but not too much to disturb your meal. The vibe is fun and relaxed with Mexican music in the background and bright colors in the facility. It's a great place to bring a friend or the family. SN: The bathroom is consistently clean too read more

Ambiance : We were driving around on a Friday afternoon and decided to stop and have dinner. It was around 5pm. We didn't have a particular restaurant in mind but decided maybe Famous Dave's would work since we love it there. As we were driving into famous Dave's we noticed this Restaurant. We didn't even know it was there or when they opened but the colorful interior design was catchy and when we checked Yelp for reviews, they were pretty good. So , we decided to have dinner here. I loved the ambiance it was fun but chilled and the decor was so vibrant. Service: We were the only ones in the restaurant and it is a pretty big space. We figured maybe it was the time a day and that's why they were slow. We were immediately and provided a booth. The young lady that took care of us, I wish I could remember her name, she was AMAZING! She gave us suggestions , checked in on us but not overbearing, and she was super friendly. Food The food was so good! I had a chicken tortilla soup and half a chicken fajita torta! The chicken tortilla had corn and when I say ALOT of shredded chicken! The Torta, wow, that bread has to be made in house. That was also delicious. I had a dragon fruit mango lemonade, again, delicious! I'd definitely go back. My hubby had the cut beef ribs, he's was yummy but the portion was def small, atleast for him. My portions were huge. Overall, I think this place is one you should visit and I have a feeling it will be sticking around. Oh , almost forgot! I also had a crazy corn with Takis with was yummy! read more

If your in the Waldorf, MD area don't slip on this hidden gem. Although they don't serve alcohol everything was absolutely superb!!! From the customer service the food down to the ambiance. I would truly recommend. read more
Came in for the first time and decided to order carryout. I ordered the Southwest Chicken Eggrolls, Shrimp Al Mojo De Ajo and Giant Quesadilla *Steak Fajita* Everything I ordered tastes very good! That garlic sauce on the shrimp and that lime/cilantro rice... mmm mmmh! The steak inside the quesadilla was nice and tender. And them eggrolls was hitting! My compliments to the chef! Although the place wasn't packed or had lots of customers, it appeared this place was short staffed. There were 2 waitresses, and probably the "manager". The guy, "probably the manager" assisted me, and he was doing a little bit of everything, like a 1 man band. His customer service was appreciated. read more

First time here and I'm very impressed. Cleanliness: The place is very clean. Staff: Friendly and attentive. Parking: More than plenty. Food: I had the pile high nachos with shredded chicken. I was pleasantly surprised that the chicken was SEASONED! Yes, seasoned! Needless to say, it was good. I also had southwest chicken egg rolls, and they too were good. Definitely recommend this establishment. read more

Omg... what a great NEW find in Waldorf, Md. Passing by and spotted this place and decided to give it a try. The ambiance was great, Although there was no one there eating, I became hesitant, however, they were just opening, so we decided to give them a try. When I say from the moment we entered, til the time we left, we received great customer service. I enjoyed the starter chips and salsa and my goodness... that "Watermelon Mint Lemonade" was delightful. When that food came out, I already knew it was gonna be good.. it looked some type of scrumptious!! And to say, it was definitely delicious... The portions were also enough to take home for later. If you're in the Waldorf, Md area, DO NOT hesitate to give this one a try... you won't be disappointed... BTW, I'm definitely going back!! read more

Decided to give this restaurant a try recently. Only one other couple was inside, so there wasn't a wait to be seated or served. I ordered the chicken and shrimp fajitas and also placed a "to go" order of chips& salsa and chicken tacos. Pros: -Chicken and shrimp were well seasoned -Waitress was very attentive Cons: -Discovered a long hair in the "To go" chips once I arrived home which spoiled my son's entire appetite -Both the black beans and rice were cold and bland -Chips were cold -Shrimp Fajitas were served with tails on(small inconvenience but I'd prefer them to be off) Two couples entered the restaurant as I dined, but immediately left when they found out that no alcohol is served; not even margaritas. Unsure if they're still awaiting a liquor license but something for the owner to consider. Hopefully, the above items will be corrected . read more
