Taco Tuesday!! We stopped in for a quick bite at lunch. Fiesta Tex-Mex in Waldorf was a solid visit overall. Service was excellent. Extremely attentive and friendly from start to finish. The food came out super fast and piping hot, which we appreciated. We ordered the birria tacos and shrimp birria tacos. The flavor was good, but it did feel like the shrimp portion was a bit skimpy. Not enough shrimp just a lot of cheese. Also disappointed that they don't offer cocktails, which would really elevate the experience, so one star deducted for that. We visited Fiesta Tex-Mex on New Year's Day, and the restaurant was quiet and not crowded, which was nice. Service was very slow, though I give a bit of grace since it was a holiday. Unfortunately, the queso was disappointing...,very watery and lacking any spice. I ordered a shrimp taco (without tartar sauce), and the shrimp was overcooked. My friend had the Fiesta Lime Chicken; if you order it, I recommend getting it without the chips, as mixing chips with grilled chicken and melted cheese created an odd texture. On a positive note, the beans...while a little soupy, were flavorful and included ground meat, and the pico was fresh and delicious. The rice tasted more like plain rice than traditional Spanish rice. We didn't order any drinks and stuck with water. Overall, I'd give this place 3 out of 5 stars. Since it was New Year's Day, I'm open to giving it another try to see if the experience improves. read more

We got seated immediately and our waitress was nice. There are tvs and lights and the space is pretty big so that you're not eating on top of someone. We started off with the carne asada fries, which I think would have tasted a lot better without the beans. The steak was pretty good though. Taco bowl was basic but flavorful, the taco bowl was light and airy too. I made a to-go order and enjoyed most of the meal. I got the taco salad with extra chicken and shrimp to go along with the beef. Those flavors, coupled with the guacamole, salsa, sour cream and pico de gallo provided a flavorful and satisfying experience. I also got grilled fish soft tacos and those were good too. The whole fish (tilapia) was fried a little too hard, making the meat tougher than it should have been. While this was a fail, the rest of the meal was very good. read more

I checked this place on a Monday afternoon, so it wasn't particularly crowded when I went. It has bright decorations and very clean inside. The staff were also very pleasant. Chips and salsa also came out before we ordered. I ordered chicken fajitas. The food came out quickly and was served piping hot. The chicken fajitas appeared fresh (bright, colorful veggies) and were also served with two home made tortillas. The taste was lightly seasoned, so if you're a person who does not like your food heavily salted, check this place out. Parking is free and easily accessible in front of the restaurant. This place has really yummy food and really friendly and quick service. We have been here twice this month and about to order for a third time. I've been here a few times now and I can't believe I haven't take more photos!! I am so happy we have a new delicious place to eat in Waldorf! Let's talk about the food in the photos. Both items are delicious. The salad is on the menu as chicken caesar, but they allowed me to sub the chicken out for shrimp. The dressing worked really well with the shrimp and croutons. I don't believe the tacos are on the menu, we learned about them on taco Tuesday when they have a special and you can get multiple different tacos. Otherwise, when it's not taco Tuesday these come as a set of 3. Other foods we've tried: the jalapeño poppers - these were so delicious and perfectly breaded but sad to say too spicy for me to enjoy: the chicken egg rolls - my wife loves them and starts with them every time, I wish they had a meatless option for since I don't eat chicken *tears*. The fajitas are also delish! Drinks - no alcohol here yet (license pending) but I just know the alcoholic drinks are going to be amazing because their homemade lemonade and teas and amazing!! All of their flavored lemonade is good and they know it too because there are no free refills for those. They do allow refills on the teas and fountain drinks of course. A local social media influencer I follow really enjoyed this spot so I decided to give it a try. I went on a Friday evening Pros: we were seated quickly Service was a little slow but the hostess checked on us frequently and the server apologized. The restaurant had a nice color scheme with orange and yellow hues. The fajitas came out sizzling hot and the meat was delicious and the lemonade was very tasty ( no refills on these specialty blends) The usual chips with dip was good. Cons: service was slow in the beginning but got better No alcohol ( I heard them tell a customer they are applying for a liquor license) if you care about that. But... no margaritas at a Mexican restaurant ! I swear I cannot find many Mexican / Tex mex restaurants that serve tomilito that so good mashed corn dish. When I asked about it the server didn't know what it was. Oh well that's my own person issue. Noone else probably cares but why oh why can't I get this?! Ambiance : We were driving around on a Friday afternoon and decided to stop and have dinner. It was around 5pm. We didn't have a particular restaurant in mind but decided maybe Famous Dave's would work since we love it there. As we were driving into famous Dave's we noticed this Restaurant. We didn't even know it was there or when they opened but the colorful interior design was catchy and when we checked Yelp for reviews, they were pretty good. So , we decided to have dinner here. I loved the ambiance it was fun but chilled and the decor was so vibrant. Service: We were the only ones in the restaurant and it is a pretty big space. We figured maybe it was the time a day and that's why they were slow. We were immediately and provided a booth. The young lady that took care of us, I wish I could remember her name, she was AMAZING! She gave us suggestions , checked in on us but not overbearing, and she was super friendly. Food The food was so good! I had a chicken tortilla soup and half a chicken fajita torta! The chicken tortilla had corn and when I say ALOT of shredded chicken! The Torta, wow, that bread has to be made in house. That was also delicious. I had a dragon fruit mango lemonade, again, delicious! I'd definitely go back. My hubby had the cut beef ribs, he's was yummy but the portion was def small, atleast for him. My portions were huge. I recommend the green salsa, I ate that more than my main dish! I had the crab and shrimp enchilada, which was great by the way. Pros: -Chicken and shrimp were well seasoned -Waitress was very attentive Cons: -Discovered a long hair in the "To go" chips once I arrived home which spoiled my son's entire appetite -Both the black beans and rice were cold and bland -Chips were cold -Shrimp Fajitas were served with tails on(small inconvenience but I'd prefer them to be off) Two couples entered the restaurant as I dined, but immediately left when they found out that no alcohol is served; not even margaritas. I enjoyed the starter chips and salsa and my goodness... that "Watermelon Mint Lemonade" was delightful.
