The food here is so good! It's been years since I've been here, and it's still great! We ordered the steak and chicken burrito, a few different pupusas, plantains, and 1/2 rotisserie chicken. Everything was so good, worth the wait while they make it fresh. read more

The food is always hot and extra tastee! We love the fried chicken and flounder. We're late picking up our food today- It's the 4th of July and they kept the store open. We didn't realize the hours changed, but we are thankful for the excellent customer service! read more

The serving of fish were really small. Shrimp were good and seasoned well. I ask for shrimp and fish and received shrimp, fish and chicken. Too cold to go back about this order. read more

We found this place by looking for a lunch spot when we came to town. It's at the end of a strip mall that you'd easily pass by if you weren't looking. The inside is very unimpressive. I had a salad with rotisserie chicken and it was really delicious. The only option is ranch dressing and they are really small containers, but they give you 3. It was a bit pricy, but good. We took it to go. There was a guy in the parking lot asking for $, which was a bit off-putting. read more

The chicken is amazing. I would have loved to try a few other menu items. The salad seemed fresh. Believe the salad could do with a bit of work (like finer dicing up the cucumber and tomatoes) and quite possibly giving more options than just reanch as a dressing coice. The quesadilla looked very good. read more

Fried chicken and steak and cheese were seasoned well and fresh. Mixed tea and lemonade is good.

Don't let the appearance fool you! This place offers great food, especially their snapper!

I don't know how this place has a high rating I got double meat but received barley any meat , didn't put the correct condiments on that I asked for , and was expensive for this small cheesesteak. Go next door to Subway instead read more

I came in and ordered a 10 piece wing and fry at 8:40pm and was told that it would be 20 mins...A hour goes by and my food still isn't ready but I watched as the workers let certain groups of people come in and ordered more than I have and get there order within 15 mins. It's a place where they prioritize other Peruvian/hispanic folk over everyone else. In the end I didn't get my food until going on 10pm read more

Everything I've tried has been An the pricing is fair! No long wait - food is cooked made to order read more

My favorite Peruvian chicken spot. I come here almost once a week. Decent prices and fresh food. There are a few instances that the Peruvian chicken is a little dried out, but honestly I still come back for more. The fried chicken and fried catfish are delicious. Whew chile! Now the restaurant is a butter-face, but she has a heart of gold. Word to the wise, order 25-30 minutes before pick up. That's how you know it's made to order. They will tell you "20 minutes" but it's not going to be ready. read more

Service was good. The Mexican food was delicious. The fried chicken was average. It was crispy but it seems like the only seasoning they use on the fried chicken is salt... and a lot of it. read more

I want to love this place but the service is one of the worst I have ever experienced. So unprofessional. They charge me a diff price for the same thing EVERY-TIME I go in. Doesn't matter how far ahead I call, the food is never ready when they say it will be. Decent food but not worth the hassle unless I have extra patience and an hour to wait. Staff is just rude. All of them. read more

The Barbecue chicken was excellent. The sauce was flavory and perfect for the legs and wings. Good prices as well. I recommend this place for lunch and carryout dinner. read more

Best catfish ive had around here and for the price, Very happy every order. Fries can be a toss up of which 'part of the barrel' you get still not complaints. The food was good the service was pleasant but the Ambiance can use a little upgrade but the food was well worth it

I ordered the steak & cheese sub, Chico burrito, and 40 pcs of fried chicken wings. Good quality of food for price. The wings were full sized but medium size wings unlike the steroid looking wings. The Chico burrito was refreshing with Feta cheese. I asked for salsa and was given copious amount. Thank you. They, however, need a proper wing sauce - I was really hoping for mambo sauce. The exterior of the storefront is a bit unappealing but most orders are takeout due to this covid pandemic. I will definitely try all the other food on the menu. read more

So I went there the other day with my family and we were exited to go there again after not going for a while since last time. So we went in there and I had order of tacos, we waited over an hour and half and once they brought out the tacos and they were super cold, the order had also not come with the chile toreado and when I went confront them about my wrong order some lady just gave me a disgusted face, and then when my other family member also went to ask for something else, he said the lady also gave him a face, I think they should teach their workers to be a little more respectful since the lady and the little kid up front were the ones with the bad attitude. honestly pretty disappointed and I don't plan on coming back again read more

Tastee Chicken - Mixed Fajitas Very Tasty, Flavorful & Fresh. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Waldorf, Maryland

I'm giving 3 staes because they are slow as hell and don't care. Good food with piss poor service. The food is good and hits cravings for most things you can't easily find in fast food joints or restaurants. Everything from whiting, catfish, gizzards, to rotisserie. But the food is not the issue. It's how slow and inconsiderate they are. It take 20 minutes or more for every damn order. It's like there is not structural organization nor do they care to implement this. I go here infrequently because of this. read more

The wait time? Ridiculous. I thought they were FEEDING 'n RAISING the chicken in the back there after that first 30 minutes. There weren't even that many people in line or sitting and eating. Place is super spartan, so clearly dine-in isn't encouraged. The Peruvian is nicely seasoned. So was the steak and shrimp fajitas. The pupusas were well made. Overall, food would be a solid 4 star experience were the decor and wait time not so woeful. Will eat here again, but I'll take the advice of others and order ahead. read more

Tasty is the "Luis Guzmán" of the local Peruvian Chicken world. No. Luis will never win an Oscar. No. Luis will never be nominated for a Golden Globe. Academy Award? Unlikely. Luis just isn't on that level. Don't get me wrong. He's respectable. Serviceable. Decent. But immediately in the first act, Guz only reminds me of great movies he played in with OTHER great actors - NOT HIMSELF...you know, the Polo Locos, El Pollo Sabrosos, Silvestri Chickens and Edy's - the Pacinos, Cheadles, Denzels and the Clooneys. Same difference. Luis just isn't a big draw. Don't get me wrong, I like Guz. He beats greasy fast food, he's cheap, close to home and except for the one back stabbing role he played when he set up Carlito, I like his stuff. I just don't love his stuff. Three Stars for Luis. Three stars for Tasteee/Tasty. read more

Like others, you can find great peruvian places "up the road" but for right here in waldorf it's pretty good and convenient. The chicken is always ready and the yuca is always good and comes with two sauces. These guys and gals can have my money anytime. Highly recommended for the locals! Update: 10-13-2018 Had a craving for some Yuca so decided to pop in. I also ordered a chicken quesadilla just to nibble on with my yuca. Sorry for not adding any pics, but I inhaled it to fast. Everything is cooked to order so it does take some time but good food is worth it. No, it's not Michelin Star quality it is simple and honest street fare that is tasty and well worth sitting about for. I've yet to try calling in a take out order which is what I'll do doing for my next order. read more

If you want good rotisserie chicken and a side of yuca, this is the place. There is nothing fancy about this establishment, and I have been coming here for about 4 years. If you come here it's definitely not for the aesthetics. But......their Peruvian Chicken is the best (IMO) in the area. Not to mention, it's been here before the larger chain restaurants started appearing....The only downside is that the wait time can be longer than what is quoted and the inside is less than appealing. But it's been consistent over the years as far as quality of food, so I will definitely give them that. They have a pretty good variety also...check them out. read more

Great tasting chicken and yuca. You have to wait. It's NOT fast food. I've been here at least 10 times and have never been disappointed. You do have to wait. Therefore, I suggest ordering in advance. Been back several times since my last posting and we are always fully satisfied. Tasty and always delicious. Took a friend recently for his first time, and he loved it! read more

Stopped there a few times. Enjoyed their rotisserie Peruvian style chicken if you get them fresh from the oven. At peak, they are nice and juicy with crispy skin, with at smoked flavor and cumin based seasoning marinated into the meat. You get hungry just smelling the air at the front of the store. For these occasions, the chicken were very tasty with the homemade mayo and green chili sauces that came with the chicken order. I really liked the fried yuca (white potatoes like tuber) side order, Fried to order fresh, crispy and just the right amount of salt flavor. My larger order was huge, and filled almost a paper lunch bag every time. This came with 4 more of those wonderful dipping sauces. Even my picky ten year old liked this treat. I also ordered the homemade tamarind drink. Perfect sweet and sour drink that goes down with the meal... Try these and you'll love it... We will keep coming back.. read more

Ok food not to bad, got the chicken soup, chicken wings which came with black beans and rice. The rice taste full of butter with Barry and corn and veggies. The chicken wings were over fried and salty, they chicken soup had a big piece of chicken in it with no flavor. If it's a Peruvian place shouldn't the food be more tasty??? Not the other way around. The rico chocken on Crain has better taste and flavors than thisnapot. read more

Tasty Chicken is located in a little strip mall in Waldorf not too far from St. Charles Town Center. I found this place on yelp and decided to go because I had a taste for Peruvian chicken. As far as the chicken goes, it was serviceable. It was nothing special, but it was good! I did find the white meat to be dry, but the flavor was good. I don't know if I will return because I have had much better! The customer service was good as well! Nothing to write home about, but good enough! Overall, the experience was decent and my mission was accomplished! read more

Wow! An off the path kind of place, this hidden gem is quite the find! Generous portions with prices that please! But the best part is the flavor! The steak tacos, the rotisserie chicken tacos are so full of flavor! I love the cheese papusa so much I have to order for now and later. Wings taste like my mama made them. Treat yourself! read more

Lots of space, quick service. The tables are a little spread out. They have a good selection of sides, and they give pretty decent portions. We didn't finish the rice, but it wasn't that flavorful, so didn't feel too bad about it. The chicken was seasoned well, though, and I like when they don't overcook the chicken wings, which was what they did well. read more

This place is an embarrassment and shouldn't even be listed as Peruvian to be honest. I tried to give this place another chance and once again they disappointed me. The door was still locked even though it was after 11. The place still looked dirty even though it smelled like bleach. I wanted chicken & corn tamales. Well now they don't sell the chicken tamal. So I just got corn & fried plantain. The guy asked me if I wanted the tamales fried or steamed and I said steamed. I come back to pick them up after 20 min and of course the order isn't ready yet. Then the tamales were fried. I'm just not going to go back there anymore. read more
