The food is just ok, nothing special, unfortunately! The service is lacking, the last time we came here we said it would probably be our last try. The cashier is a bit rude. I understand we may not speak Spanish but you can see how differently they treat those that do speak Spanish! This location does seem to have plenty of regulars that the staff playfully interact with. It's never ok to make your customers feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The first time I was treated rudely I let it go, but once it happened when I sent my husband to pick up our order and then again while I was pregnant I had enough. I really enjoy authentic foods from all cultures it just saddens me that I cannot bring myself to patronize this location any longer. The inside of the restaurant gets a bit crowded, sometimes rowdy. They do have tables for dining in. It's more of a carry out spot though. Unless you are a regular. We did enjoy their whole fish.

THESE ARE and I willl come here again. 10/10 I'll eat it again and again

It's as dry as it looks. They didn't say hello when I entered and when I said thank you for my order they didn't say anything. This food is missing love. La Sierra is nearby and so much tastier. Green sauce was ok. Red beans (not pictured) were bland.

Order counter with menu on screens and also blown up pictures of some of the menu items.

After running around at Family Place to Play, we were searching for a restaurant that would accommodate our entire clan of 3 families with a total of 13 people (6 adults and 7 kids) on a Friday night in Waldorf. You're probably like Good Luck! Asados Grill (AG) came up in the search results on Yelp and my brother-in-law suggested we go to AG because he had been there before and liked it. He also felt that it was probably the best type of restaurant for our party. It turned out to be one of the best meals I had in Southern Maryland during my visit! - Parking - Private lot. - Vibe - At AG, you order at the counter, pay, sit down and bus your own table. It's bright with a simple decor and clean. It's very casual which was the perfect dining spot for our little circus! - TLC - The gentleman who was taking our order was such a nice man who took the time to answer all my questions and make recommendations when needed. He was very helpful and patient at every turn, when I went up to the counter multiple times to get random things. You can imagine how needy a party of 13 can be. The ladies who worked there were also very sweet. - Eats/Refreshments - Maranoñes (Cashew fruit) juice - This is juice from the fruit of a cashew tree. It is cloudy and light yellow in color. It was very different and I don't really know how to describe it or what to compare it to, but I loved it! Look up the fruit. It almost looks like a persimmon. Pupusa (pork and cheese) - My husband and I were curious about the pupusa and we went with the pork and cheese upon the man's recommendation. It's like a quesadilla made out of corn tortillas, stuffed with shredded pork and cheese, but there are no open edges. The seams are closed shut. It's almost like they stuffed it in a corn dough and then flattened it like a pancake. It is served with their version of a coleslaw and a salsa-like sauce. It was delicious. It would make a great kids meal too and super inexpensive. Pescado Frito (Whole Fried Tilapia) - I love tilapia, well, fish in general, but I was torn between the tilapia and the Lomo Saltado. When I told the man my dilemma, he said he had some nice and big tilapias that day and I was like SOLD! Warning: the fish is served whole, head and all. It was seasoned with their magical seasoning and they placed a few pieces of vegetables inside the fish and then it is deep fried. The skin was nice and crispy and the meat was cooked perfectly! It is served with rice, beans, salad (iceburg lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, red onions, avocado), choice of flour or corn tortillas and a grilled jalapeño (holy, it was spicy) which had a real nice char on it! It was so much food and at such a great price! Burrito (beef and chicken) - My husband ordered this and said it was good. I was too busy with my own plate that I forgot to taste his. It was a generous portion and he had enough for the next day. - Kiddos - They have a kids menu with the standard stuff, but most of the items are battered and deep fried. Both my kids chose the Chicken nuggets and one had a side of rice while the other had their fries which were big, chunky potato pieces rather than the regular fry cut. No complaints from the kiddos. They offer quite a variety of menu items and there seems to be something for everyone. Our group ordered a variety of things like tacos, asada salad, Burrito and we all left with a full belly without the pressure of fine dining with little kids!

    Shrimp & Steak Quesadilla

I had my first dining experience at Asados picking up a quesadilla order during the COVID social distancing pandemic. After being inside for weeks, I called in the order when I was out on an essentials errand. I had been craving a really good quesadilla, and I didn't want one from a chain restaurant. After a quick Yelp surf, I decided Asados was going to be my spot! I knew I wanted one with peppers and onions, not just meat and cheese, so this place fit my criteria. I wasn't paying attention when I placed my order, so I actually wanted 1 steak and 1 shrimp, but they ended up making 2 steak & shrimp combined and they were actually really good!!! The steak is really tender and delicious, it almost reminded me of roast beef if that doesn't sound too weird. They come with salsa, sour cream and a spicy green sauce. I hope by the time you read this, the pandemic is a distant memory and you can run over and try them.

Mixed meat quesadilla, toppings hubby had to ask for. Presentation was great but the taste was flat.

I…read moreordered 2 pupusas from here, one which I assume was supposed to be pork and one beans and cheese. The "pork" one was not authentic as it was basically tomato blended with cheese. It was still good because it almost tasted like a tortilla filled with pink pasta sauce but I knew it wasn't the real deal. The bean and cheese one was good. For 2 pupusas it was a little under $5 and came with the pickled cabbage and tomato sauce. Two was filling but I maybe could have gone for 3. The staff was very kind. They do have a variety of items on their menu. Do not be confused by the outside like I was. It does appear to be just a liquor store on the outside but the deli is located at the back of the store, if you keep walking to the back when you enter.

This place is located in a convenience store, so when you're approaching the address, it's not very obvious that this place is located inside due to the lack of signage. This place has limited hours and I believe they open early for breakfast and close at 4:00 p.m. I originally wanted to call in my order, but didn't see a decent menu online and/or prices, so I made my way there. I got there maybe about 20 minutes before they closed as I saw the chairs up on top of the tables in their seating area. I immediately just ordered the carne asada tacos, the pork pupusas and the cheese pupusa. I took it to go, brought it inside my car and because I didn't eat lunch and it was almost dinner time, I literally picked up the cheese pupusa and ate it in my car. It was piping hot and delicious. I didn't even put the little salad / hot sauce on top as I was really hungry. Overall it was really good. Of course, I moved on to the taco and thought it was kinda small, but thought to myself I should have ordered one more. I think it was comparable to the price that I paid, but for someone that was hungry I knew that maybe four wouldn't not be enough but thankfully the pupusas filled me up. I didn't finish my food completely as I drove home because I wanted to really sit down and try the food. My overall feedback on the tacos is to probably ask them to make my tacos medium rare if at all possible. Secondly, I would probably order at least five and maybe four pupusas. I think that would satisfy my craving and I would be full. I love supporting small businesses so if you are in the area, please stop by and try out this place.

There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.

Pupuseria Mana also has an American menu for breakfast and lunch/dinner. I was curious about the name "Mana". It is the Spanish word for "manna", the light bread/pastry food item that supposedly came down from the skies to nourish the starving Israelites in the desert back in Biblical times. But anyway, we came for breakfast this morning. Manna, per se, was not on the menu, but I did discover the Mana Platter, consisting of either a waffle or French toast, two eggs and protein (either bacon or sausage). $16.95. The French toast was spot on, coming with butter, cinnamon and maple syrup on the side. The scrambled eggs were well prepared. The bacon was pretty good, but it did have a plentiful number of black charred spots. When we came in, Mexican music was being played at a fairly high volume, but without us saying anything it was muted shortly after we arrived. It started back up again as we were leaving. The restaurant is very clean. There's a full bar too. On a late weekday morning, we were the only customers. Service was excellent, but our bill had to be fixed because somehow a coffee we didn't order slipped onto the bill. By the way, as is the common custom in Latin countries, they don't plop the bill down on your table. When you are ready to pay and leave, you either signal your server or go up to the cash register. The thinking is that the restaurant doesn't want to rush the customer, and instead, let the customer indicate that they are ready to go.

I ordered the chicken enchiladas, a meat pie and a side of refried beans; hubby got two pupusas - bean/cheese and pork/bean. We also got refrescas, I got the melon/pina and he got tamarindo. The melon one was delish, mostly canteloupe flavor. The tamarindo was a little tart for me but still good. Important to know (and I did) but enchiladas at a Salvadoran place are not the same as Mexican or Tex-Mex enchiladas; they're what Mexican cuisines would call tostadas. Chicken, cabbage, cheese, a tomato slice, and a slice of hard boiled egg on a deep fried corn tortilla. These were delicious and the favorite part of my meal. I was worried that pickled cabbage would over power the other flavors but it didn't. They were great. The refried beans were so-so, I probably would skip them next time and the side portion is tiny. The meat pie was great though, I would get that again too. I had a bite of one of my husband's pupusas and it was good but I liked my enchiladas better. The prices here are extremely inexpensive. Our whole dinner was like $20 plus tax/tip I think. That's almost unheard of. The main issue is that they brought my food out very fast and then another 20 minutes til my husband got his. They could work a bit on timing orders a bit better. I shared, fear not, but orders should come out together. It's not a huge deal but an area for improvement.
