The worst place I've ever been to. Service is mid good. Food doesn't taste good, and $27 for 6 pupusas is crazy expensive. Also the place itself looks a mess, bathroom is disgusting with the light not working and the air vent producing some horrible smell. It's a Hispanic restaurant I've been to A LOT but A LOT of Hispanic restaurants all the way from NC to NY and I've never been to a place as disgusting as this one. This restaurant has 63 items on their menu, not including sides, desserts and drinks. They have the usual Tex-Mex food along with some interesting entrees. My wife and I were driving by and decided to give them a visit. We ordered Nachos Rancheros, Shrimp and Scallops Burrito, Paella Valenciana and Salmon Con Camarones Al Ajillo. We were served a complimentary basket of tortilla chips with salsa. The chips were thin and crispy. The flavor was good and not salty. They were not fresh-made. The salsa was watery with hardly any tomatoes or onions, but it had a decent amount of flavor. The Nachos Rancheros had tortilla chips with beans, cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo and guacamole. You can add beef or chicken for an extra charge. The chips were the same as the ones I mentioned before. The cheese was melted and poured over the chips. The cheese then solidified onto the chips on top so that it could not be spread onto the chips underneath. A cheese sauce would have been appropriate here, not plain melted hard cheese. The rest of the ingredients were typical in flavor. There was nothing special about the pico de gallo. Overall, this was okay except for the cheese. The Shrimp and Scallops Burrito had rice, black beans, diced white onions, diced tomatoes, some tiny shrimp and one piece of scallop. It was covered with melted cheese. The taste was the sum of the parts with no flavor from the shrimp. One piece of scallop (not a whole piece) doesn't do much. Rice was the main ingredient in this burrito. The overall flavor was uninspired and quite boring. Chipotle makes superior burritos compared to this. The Paella Valenciana was suppose to have rice, saffron, shrimp, scallops, squid, mussels and chicken. The rice was orange colored and very soft. I suppose there was saffron in it, but I couldn't taste it. It contained some tiny rehydrated shrimp which had a strong fishy flavor. Additionally, there were pieces of white fish, 3 medium size shrimp, 3 mussels, and small slices of squid. No scallops or chicken. The socarrat was missing. This was a glaring mistake. The socarrat is the thin crust of crispy rice at the bottom of the paella. The rice becomes caramelized and toasted at the bottom of the pan when it is cooking. This gives the dish a toasted nutty flavor. However, the rice had some flavor from seasonings and the fishy shrimp. I wouldn't get this again. Salmon Con Camarones Al Ajillo had broiled salmon fillet topped with shrimp sautéed in garlic butter. It came with rice, beans and a tiny salad. The salmon was tender and moist. It had a good flavor. The shrimp was cooked just right and had a good fried flavor with the garlic butter. The rice, beans and salad were typical. This was the best dish in our order. Our meal was served with ranch sauce and green chile sauce in bottles. Ranch sauce as in ranch dressing. The green chile sauce was slightly hot. The sauces were decent tasting. The dining room and restrooms were relatively clean, but dated and worn looking. There is a small bar located on the left as you enter the restaurant. There is a pool table at the back of the dining room. The service was polite and helpful, but not attentive. The complimentary chips and salsa were served 9 minutes after we ordered. Our Nachos were served with our entrees 40 minutes after we ordered. Not quick and very strange timing on the appetizer. The server would disappear from the dining room for long periods of time. It took a while to get anything. This is a female owned business. The owner is from Honduras. The restaurant opened in 2010. To be open this long, something must be good. Maybe, it's their tacos, fajitas or empanadas. I don't know. The food was simple and basic. That may be their appeal. read more

This restaurant is no frills and all taste! I got dinner for my dad,my husband and I a couple nights ago and everyone was satisfied. The tex mex fajita (shrimp,steak and chicken), steak fajita and shrimp quesadilla were all cooked to perfection. I deducted one star because the guac I got on the side was wierd. It had standing juice in it so I didn't eat it. I will definitely order from here again. read more

The Tacos Fusion pork are so delicious. The beef nachos are great. I've tried the burrito which is covered in cheese, you have to eat it with a fork instead of picking it up which was a first for me, but still tasty. The service is great and the ambiance is always cool. I go during lunch time so it's usually only 1 or 2 customers there. read more

Definitely a hidden gem! We stumbled upon this place, after leaving Aldi (across the street). Wanted a quick breakfast, and was not disappointed! Similar to other desayuno tipico that I've ordered before, but the food was so fresh! It came with eggs, plantain, beans, tortilla, avocado, crema, and cheese. I headed to this restaurant in search a good Mexican food near base and I left feeling pretty torn about whether or not I had actually found one. To start, the service was really bad. Honestly I don't expect much service-wise. I want you bring me what I asked for, and keep my drink refilled. That's seriously all. The service was not only VERY slow, but they also never brought us the guac we asked for. The food was slow to come out as well (although that's obviously the kitchen's fault, not the servers). The food was where I became torn. I went with two other people. My S.O. said his tacos were just okay and the other guy I was with enjoyed most of his meal, but his steak was not well seasoned and his fried plantains were gross - hard and dry. My food however was incredible. I had steak fajitas that were very well seasoned and smothered in a red sauce I had not previously had. I eat out to Mexican pretty often and these are the best fajitas I've ever had. I am reviewing this as a lunch place so please understand. I would have given 5 stars but I'll explain soon. First up, WOW!!! Food was pretty darned good. The tacos el carbon was delicious! Friends got enchiladas, vegetable something's, and some other tacos. One friend said her beef enchiladas were better than the chicken. Had to do with the flavor and spices used. The veggie whatever my other friend got looked awesome, and she said they tasted good too. And my third friend did not like her tacos because her tortillas kept falling apart. BUT, she is high maintenance so take that with a grain of salt. They looked every bit as good as mine. Fresh vegetables all around. The salsa and chips were great, more like a pico de gallo. The bad? A little pricey I felt for a lunch place. And bring cash! Don't use your card, I feel like I will be buying about a $1000 in phone cards :). Yep, that dropped one star for me... The service and ambiance? What can you expect? Servers English was good, but had problems with math. Go figure? And was it a restaurant with a bar, or a bar disguised as a restaurant? Who knows. This cute little restaurant is located 2 minutes from my Martial Arts Academy, so we'll walk over here for lunch or after a late practice to watch UFC fights on Saturday night. I'm please with it. It's not the best spanish food I've ever had, but it does the job. Food - It's not award winning but you will get what you paid for. It's called 100 Plus because there's over 100 items on the menu to choose from. For me, that's a bit overwhelming and I'd rather have fewer items with higher quality than over 100 of anything. I usually just order the fajitas. They're good, standard, old fashioned fajitas, can't go wrong here. They give you chips and salsa for free, again, standard, a-ok. They SOMETIMES have corn tamales served with sour cream, now I LOVE these little guys, quite tasty, but they're very inconsistent with the availability of the tamales. And it's not on the menu, you have to ask for it... Shrugs. Service - There's one lady who speaks English, so be warned, if you haven't passed Spanish 101 in high school, you may have a little trouble clarifying your order. Hence me sticking to the fajitas! (I flunked Spanish...true story). However, the restaurant clearly caters to the Latino community in the area, the menu, signs, etc are all mostly Spanish. So, I don't complain. I just smile and point to the fajitas. There's a pool table, full bar, and DJ booth, so for major sporting events, it's a cool place to come watch the futbol game or latest UFC/Boxing matches and have a beer or margarita and chips. read more

This place is Temple Hills best kept secret. The atmosphere is more like a sports bar with a small amount of tables and chairs. The salsa is not your typical salsa with tomato chunks, it's more like a tomato puree but, it is very tasty. The service was a little slow but, I didn't mind, we had cocktails along with salsa and chips, we were good. When I received my food, I could tell it was made to order and the ingredients were fresh, it was delicious! I ordered the salmon with shrimp no. 31 and my sister ordered the garlic shrimp no. 30. Not Impressed. Food was mediocre. I ordered chicken fajitas to go. The chicken didn't have much flavor and was served with plain white rice which was under cooked. The lettuce, sour cream and pico de gallo were all combined in one small section of the container which resulted into one mixture. I was only given 2 tortillas and no chips & salsa...maybe that's only offered for dine-in guests IDK. I was hoping to find a good/authentic Mexican restaurant close to home, but this isn't it. Food was horrible. Although this was my 3rd time here, I'm not sure what happened. Going back the 3rd time obviously means I had a good experience the 1st two times. Customer service is excellent, especially since I don't speak Spanish. The host is bi-lingual so I had no problem ordering. My food was to-go, so I didn't see what it looked like until I got home. I hadn't eaten all day and was very hungry. The chimichanga was dry as was the black beans. Never going back again. My sister order the fried pork which turned out to be fried pork fat. Me and my husband ate here twice the first time on a Saturday, the place had a few customers, mainly men drinking and eating at the bar. We ordered puposas and they came out hot, cheesy and meaty. I tried the sopa de Rez, but I was not that impressed instead of the traditional Salvadorian style - which is beef rib, the soup had oxtail, the vegetables were ok, the broth was to oily. Ok so we walk in at 7:30 on a thursday night. Lights were very dim and the waitress was drinking and dancing.the music was so loud we could barely hear her.Also we didnt like the idea of an intoxcicated waitress after a hard day at work. The prices per plate were fairly expensive for a whole in the wall restaurant and it smelled like a nail salon which I thought was next door. We were in a hurry to get to kids ball practice but we we stayed and tried it anyway. Food was good and waitress was very helpful.
