Chicken taco platter

Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I personally had to wait 35 minutes for my food, which I was upset about, but as soon as I tasted the food all of my worries went away. They even gave me a free item for waiting so long so I'm way past that now. I will definitely be coming back again.

I kind of believe my Uncle is thee Don of finding local hole in the wall spots with dope food. So keep that in mind before you go full bourgeois all up in through here. This place is nothing to write home about, as far as the exterior, or even the interior. BUT, the food is good, plentiful and flippin cheap. So save your complaints. Seriously. Located on Marlboro Pike, the closest cross street is Forestville Road. Not easy to spot from the road, no, there isn't large signage that will help you find it. It is is a small suspect like strip mall like area. The name, Corinto is on the outside of what looks like a door covered in pictures. Once inside, tables, chairs, and a large flat screen. Also, there is a small high top area (no bar). That's it. I opened the menu and became excited, why because I saw a picture of pan, I saw a picture of sopa, and I saw pictures of what reminded me of tortas. This makes me happy because in my younger days I lived in MX. So anything that reminds me of this makes my soul smile. Anywho, the menu is plentiful from breffis entries, to soups, apps, tacos, and the like. Choices people, you got 'em! On this date Unc and I share the sopa de res, beef/chicken tacos, and the pan con pollo salvadoreno. As most Latin themed locales, fresh chips and salsa was on the table in moments. The chips were fried hard, and greasy just the way I like them. Salsa was a little less than chunky. Had a good flavor, but the tomatoes and chunkiness is a must. The sopa de res was delicious! The broth itself was full of flavor, and the soup, wowza! Talk about lots of veggies, from corn (on the cob), to zucchini, carrots and everything in between. Also, there were CHUNKS of beef that you could break with your spoon. The sammie had a delightful flavor, as the chicken was marinated right, it also had chunks of veggies too. The tacos, were just that, but it had lots of fresh toppings. The food was amazing, the servings were plentiful, and the prices was on point. If I'm in the area, I'm going back!

Nice surprise in an old strip mall. This little hole in the wall could easily be missed. The food was authentic basic Central America cuisine. The Salvadorian chicken sandwich was well seasoned, moist, tasty and tender. The restaurant is small, homey, and the service was good. The staff is bilingual and willing to help.

I've only had the chicken taco platter to-go, but I've had it three times now. I need to explore the menu for sure. The inside is not what you would expect based on the outside. It's spacious, well it, and clean. Also, I'm always greeted nicely. The food is delicious and authentic. I'm so glad that I've found this spot that service genuine Mexican food. Served here is Salvadoran food as well. I'll make it my business to one day sit down inside to enjoy a plethora of dishes.

The food was authentic, delicious and freshly made. Our waitress was very nice! This is definitely worth the 5 stars. We even ordered more food to go after dining in. The yucca and chicharrón was perfectly crispy and the Pupusas were awesome. If ever in this area again we will definitely be coming back again.

Food here is so great!! It really doesn't look like much (Suitland doesn't look like much!) but…read moreit's a really good choice. Portions are generous and I could've made multiple meals out of it. Both of the dishes were well done. I like the sauce they give you for the chicken. It was a bit of a wait but I think if you set your expectations right- meaning expect 20-30 min wait - be zen and practice patience, you could really enjoy it! Ambiance isn't too much to write home about - not a trendy place by DC standards but it's not bad. It's air conditioned and the bathroom was clean. Parking is right out front and you can probably even see your car eating inside. Someone even came by and asked how our food was and it's not really a sit down restaurant (you order at the front on a giant screen). I'd come back again if in the area!

The employees are patient and professional.I pretty much always order the same thing, mixed fajitas with rice and black beans. The place is clean however the parking lot still sucks but it's better than the old building they had across the street. The food here tastes better than a lot of sit down Mexican restaurants and it's more reasonable. They do have indoor seating if you want to done in. I would recommend calling in your order for faster service, as they do tend to be busy most of the day. I'm not sure if this is a female owned establishment but I only see all women working at this location. They do have an app now - which they didn't before. Remember to order through the app because you can't gain point or rewards using your receipt after a purchase. It seems as if you can only get rewarded for your purchases if you pls e your order through the app.

Honestly Surprised This Place Isn't Packed And I Don't Know How I Haven't Heard About It Sooner…read more It's So Clean & Beautiful Inside. Well Presented, Comfortable, & Welcoming, The Kind Of Place You Notice Right Away When You Walk In. There's Also Plenty Of Parking. SHRIMP TACOS I Ordered 3 Shrimp Tacos That Came With Four Tortillas, Plus Avocado, Onions, Cilantro, & Hot Sauce (Beets Added As Decor On The Plate A Nice Touch). Everything Was So Delicious & Tasted Fresh, Great Quality Ingredients & Very Well Seasoned. Great Customer Service Was Friendly, Attentive, & Helpful Throughout The Visit.Great Food, Beautiful Space, & One Of Those Hidden Gems That Deserves More Attention. Definitely Worth Trying, I'll Be Back To Try Their Nachos & Burritos.

Was in the area to visit my aunt in temple hills, and was craving a reasonably priced taco!…read more My experience was sub par... I ordered one single shrimp taco for $ 3.99 i believe, they only have corn tortillas. I was not fond of the heavy amount of cilantro that's mixed with their cabbage mix. PROS: Lots of shrimp (although not seasoned at all) CONS: charge extra for sour cream (it does NOT come with the meal). I'm not trippin off the $1 sour cream, but the amount they gave me, was as if it was the last like dollop they had Bag is 15cents, wish they would communicate if I wanted a bag for my single taco. Would not try this place again nor recommend to my aunt who lives behind the establishment
