Hit or miss. This is just another franchise what can I say. It all depends on who's working on what. They have not been able to tie down some good employees and that can only reflect on poor employment treatment. Franchise speaks for itself. I have lived by here 6 years and yet the McDonalds has the same employee this whole time!! Three stars because of the staff. Lots of attitude and not much efficiency. Food is cheap and pretty decent, but very limited beer and wine selection. This place is amazing! We were hungry for lunch and were in the area so we decided why not give it a try. It did not disappoint. I love that they had different sauces, and all the topping options are great. You can get as many as you want and don't have to worry about being charged more. The pricing is great, and honestly their mini pizzas are a great size, the Mod is their standard size, but I did fine with the mini. I love that everybody can get what they're craving. I was able to get my Hawaiian with black olives, my mom was able to get her white sauce, and my brother could have his beloved jalapeños. I would recommend their blackberry lemonade, it is so delicious! Give it a try, it is such a great concept! Customer service is great as well. read more

Disappointed with the service November 8th. I did an online ordered. My order was suppose to be ready by 7:30pm but I didn't leave until almost 8pm. I arrived right at 7:30pm, No one acknowledged me when I walked up to the to go pick spot. I was standing there maybe 15mins until i overheard them mentioned an online order that was incorrect I looked at them and of course it had to be my order. While my other two pizzas were getting cold I had to wait for the last pizza to be made correctly. All in all while I waited they should've offered some kind of drink, some kind of something while I wait l, it's called customer service but apparently they didnt care to take care of their customers that night . and what really ticked me off and makes me not want to come back to this establishment they could've at least offer to reheat my pizza until my last pizza was ready but no one again didn't think to do anything. Yes it was busy and packed but that doesn't give no right to ignore me either. By the time I got home with my order and I don't live right down the street either I live 20mins away my pizza was COLD! And my sons small pizza which was suppose to be cheese pizza, Harley any cheese added and it doesn't look inviting to eat either, but Good thing he's not picky and still ate it. Cody the manager is awesome, he didnt have to acknowledge us, but he makes sure to greet and talk to every customer. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable with our dining experience. They have plenty of toppings, so there are endless possibilities to suit your taste. I feel like the menu is extensive enough to suit everyone in the household. From pizzas to salads, they are great. I always find it's cold sitting inside probably due to the wood fire oven. I'm one to eat outside on the patio if the day is nice or take it to go. My stepson is a pizza fanatic! He loves MOD and he can eat the largest pizza there! A small size pizza is enough to fill me up and to have some left overs. The atmosphere is fast paced and can be quite loud. Stopped into MOD Pizza on my way back to College Station and loved it! I got the Caspian which is a BBQ chicken pizza with Gorgonzola (blue cheese). Genius. I love blue cheese and you're telling me you want to put it on my pizza? Yes. The answer is yes. The Gorgonzola totally put this pizza over the top. You have the option to pick one of their specialized pizzas off the menu and then add whatever else you want, or you can just build your own (Subway style). They advertise that your pizza is made super fast and I'd say it was close, but maybe took a little longer than I imagined. The people who worked there were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and there is a nice outdoor seating area. If you're looking for something pretty quick that is a step above fast food, this is a great comprise. read more

Such great service! We order pizza through door dash. Our delivery was supposed to take 22-25 minutes from order. After 45 minutes with my status saying driver waiting at restaurant I called the restaurant. The gal that answered the phone let me know my pizzas had been ready for 30 minutes. I explained the situation and asked knowing it is not their problem if there was anyway they could remake them and I would come and get them myself. Let me tell you!!! The manager was SO pleasant and offered to make us fresh pizzas and send the others home with us for us to have tomorrow. We picked them up shortly after and they were so nice. This is my go-to place for pizza. I know it isn't your standard "Italian pizzeria," but it's quick and always delicious. Today I accidentally was given the wrong pizza. I called up there to see if they would make me another one if I brought the wrong one back. They went above and beyond to make it right. They offered me the pizza I brought back, the one we originally ordered, a new pizza so mine was hot, and to remake the pizza for my daughters so it was hot. It was amazing how friendly they were, how quick they owned their mistake, and how quickly they made our pizzas. I will always be a loyal customer. My husband and I love MOD pizza. We eat there all the time back in Utah! However we just moved to Houston and were so excited to see a familiar favorite. This MOD pizza is the best one we've been to. We visited the Barker Cypress location and quality & staff was not the same as at this 290 location. You can't beat the speed and price of a great pizza or salad, and if you can't decide a small salad & mini pizza is perfectly filling and still a cheap meal. We really enjoyed eating here, but it was a bit overwhelming for our first time. The menu is nice, but i didn't think there was enough explanation on how the system works. Seems like it should be an easy concept and it probably is, just seemed like there should be a little more information on the whole process. This restaurant is new to this and the surrounding areas. I'm not sure how long they've been in Texas as all. The food was good. And the portion size was just right. I did overhear a customer say their dough was not cooked in the middle.
