My boyfriend and I stopped by this evening for a quick early dinner, because we loved our first experience here a month ago. Sadly, today we had a far less ideal experience. When we walked in, there were four people working behind the counter and at the oven. We stood there for five minutes, the only people in line, as each of the four employees looked at us directly and then continued working on other things. No one greeted us or even made the effort to let us know there would be a wait. When we were finally helped, there was no garlic or green pepper available for our pizza. The salad that I ordered was placed behind the couple's orders that were standing in line behind us, so I had to wait for it before we could check out at the register. We stood at the register and no employee helped us with checking out for several minutes. Though the food was great, the lack of customer service ruined our experience. Times are tough and it is difficult to staff right now, but a friendly smile and explaining that there will be a wait is all it takes for people to be understanding and patient. I was excited to checkout MOD pizza especially because MOD stands for "made on demand". This place brings a fresh new concept to ordering pizza that is less boring. This location has ample amount of seating to choose from indoors and even a cute little outdoor patio. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our whole time there. I decided to order a mini pizza to go which is 6". I ordered my pizza the "Dillon James" style which had mozzarella, Asiago, fresh chopped basil, garlic?sliced tomatoes, and of course red sauce. I really enjoyed my pizza. I also order a mini salad and created my own. Their honey lime dressing is the BOMB SO YUMMY! Next time I come back I want to try the garlic strips and the cinnamon strips. Love this place! First visit today and we were impressed. Prices were cheaper than blaze and they had a larger variety of toppings. I also liked that they had a mini pizza for kids. When we came in the first employee we spoke to explained the process, It's like a subway/chipotle type assembly line for pizza where you choose your crust, sauce, toppings etc. You can choose from thin or thick (mega) crusts. The only thing I didn't like was the carmelized peach tea which I would have liked to be a little sweeter but my husband liked it. The blackberry lemonade was delicious! Vegetarian option: average amount for a pizza place. I've had Tristan and the Lucy Sunshine; the Lucy Sunshine is Much better. My advice is to call a head not to use the online ordering. I got charged twice the 1st time I ordered but when I called there was no issues. The atmosphere is very minimal but very cute and the servers were very nice I can see myself eating there for lunch. Update: I've been there a few more time. It seems like they are training people because if you order off menu they don't know what to put on there but I'm assuming because they do a million build your own pizza. The staff is super friendly and polite but it does get a little awkward when you're ordering and another server distracts the person trying to serve you. We have come here way to much since they opened. It's addicting. Great food, friendly staff, hip ambiance? What's not to love? I have to start by saying great job to the staff. This is a fast pace, get them their pizza environment. The pizza makers, bakers, and crust cutters are all on point to make sure you get your pie FAST. We have come in a few times during rush hour, and are always shocked how fast we can get through. Let's talk prices. AMAZING. 11" pizza for $7 something, or if you skipped the gym and can't afford the calorie splurge, the 6" pizza for like $4? It's fantastic. Especially if you load your pizza up with all the great toppings offered. As you check out, grab a beer or try their fresh lemonade and a No Name Cake(?) and you are set for a great feast. Ordered for curbside, was told food is inside on a table, came inside and not all orders were ready. I then asked the counter about the missing food and was told "when food is ready it's placed on the table". I asked to clarify since I was already told on the phone it was, so I wanted to confirm it's still being made and not lost. Was then told, "like I said when food is ready it's placed on the table." I get that it's tough in the current climate, but there's no reason to start off short with a customer when they're just asking to make sure food is being made since they were told it's ready already. Good fast pizza. I like being able to custom make my pie. The price is reasonable, cheaper then Blaze which has the same sort of design. It's nice for the whole family to be able to get a pizza they want. The gluten free crust is good which I can't always say about some pizza places. Gave this place a try after I read an article that it was the fastest growing restaurant in the U.S. My first trip I ordered pizzas with the regular thin crust. Fired oven cooked the pizzas faster than I could get my drinks. The thin crust was a nice toasty brown and super crisp. Love that I can select whatever toppings I want and it is the same price. I can go back over 100 times and never eat the same pizza. Food was outstanding for the price. Three pizzas and three soft drinks for around $30. The second time I went, I ordered a pizza with the thick crust. I liked it better than the thin crust and the thin crust was great. The thick crust allowed me to add more toppings and was more than enough for one and probably two people could share a thick crust. I can see why this restaurant is growing. The pizza- fresh but a bit doughy. I got a mini Dillon James. This was the first time I was a bit disappointed with a MOD pizza. The restaurant itself was a complete mess as no one was cleaning tables, the drink station, or restocking. There were quite a few staff members so that wasn't the issue. This is my first ever review of a place ever, and saying that might seem like nothing but trust me this place gave me an experience I have yet to have anywhere else, and I will get to that later on in the review. So first off what exactly is MOD well picture a "chipotle" or "Qdoba" style restaurant for pizza and sides. You pic what MOD you want, for example me and my gf ordered the regular 11-inch mod it gives you a price and that's it. ANY toppings you want for one flat fee, now if you're not as hungry or more hungry there is a double 11-inch upgrade, or a 6 inch available if you just wanted a smaller snack size portion. The toppings are generously listed you have all the basic meats, and veggies you could desire. Which includes both broccoli and cauliflower which I found to be fairly interesting in a pizza chain. You can also add as many different cheeses as possible, I myself chose 3 along with 5 toppings. The interesting part was the sauces. You can have ranch, white, red, sriracha, etc. I chose the ranch and added a buffalo drizzle with chicken, jalapeños, and bacon. I was going for a hot wing style pizza but I couldn't resist the bacon. My gf ordered the same but chose sriracha and a ranch drizzle. I'll get more in depth below. The experience: We did the order online through the site, picked the location, and put down the order. My order was a "hot wing" style pizza I selected the "MOD" which was the regular size 11-inch crust , I scrolled through the list and picked my sauce which was ranch, then cheeses which was Asiago, Parmesan and Mozzarella. Then went on to the meats which was a larger list than most places, I stayed simple with chicken and bacon, I couldn't resist. Next the veggies also a larger list than most. I selected none as I wanted to try a hot wing style pizza. Finally it asked for a drizzle or any special instructions. I have no necessary instructions but picked the Buffalo drizzle. Then I put in my gfs order which as I said before was similar to mine. It gave us an estimated time to pick up, and asked for general info and we checked out as guest and put in payment info. Fairly easy process, no glitches or lag like some sites and everything was laid out nicely. After around 10mins I had received a call and if you're like me you don't answer strange numbers, so I ignored and kept waiting till the marker, but shorty after the phone finished ringing I received a voice mail. I soon thought oh great another telemarketing scam message but no. The man who was actually preparing our pizzas had called and asked us to call back about our pizzas, I wasn't sure what to expect, maybe that the ingredients were out or the wait would be longer but no. He picked up in a pleasant voice, explained who I was and he said the reason he had called was he wanted to double check the order and make sure we picked everything we wanted and were sure what we had listed. This had me impressed because that's incredible customer service, and if you're familiar with a lot of chains you know most don't partake in the best of service. I confirmed that it was indeed the right order and he told us it would still be the normal time and the call wouldn't delay it. I told him thank you and I appreciated him calling. We picked up the pizzas that night, and went home smelling the most delightful pizza scent you could ever put your nose to. We eagerly got inside and put them on the counter and opened the awesome little boxes to reveal probably the best looking pizzas I have ever seen. The pizzas were piping hot, freshly made looking, the dough was authentically shaped and brick over cooked. This wasn't a processed pizza that's for sure, and we dug in. The ingredients were fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Needless to say I devoured the entire pizza, and actually become full. I don't mean full as in that bloat feel like fast food places, I mean pleasantly full and relaxed like I had just enjoyed a freshly made pizza. All in all I applaud this place for providing fresh food, quickly. Especially to some people like me and my gf were that night doing some shopping and wanted a quick pick up and go without grabbing a burger. I especially want to give my thanks to that man that called just to check up on us to make sure our order was correct, I have yet to have customer service like that. Especially when you walk in to pick it up and he remembers you, we definitely shared a laugh about the call but he was definitely a great guy. Will definitely go back. 10/10 read more

The two stars are for the quickness of getting the pizza and I like that you can add as many toppings as you want for no additional cost. The pizza however was pretty terrible. The establishment didn't feel the cleanest especially the area that had the toppings, it also had a weird smell around that area. It was my first time going to any MOD pizza so I was excited in seeing the positive reviews that me and my daughters would enjoy it since they love pizza. They didn't like it and it was just a bug bust for us. I threw 90% of it away - and drove home 45 minutes+ with the worst stomach ache.
