I've been to a few different MOD pizza places over the years and this one has to be my favorite one yet. Wonderful customer service and delicious food. I walked in and the gentleman greeted us warmly and informed us of what he can offer us. My sister and I wanted salad and pizza. So he said we should do two mini pizzas and a big salad to share. He let us know that we can have as many toppings on our salad and pizza at no extra charge! Super friendly. All of the staff was really nice and we left feeling full and excited to return! This place had plenty of parking big enough for our 25' motorhome and we felt safe leaving it with our dogs inside while we ate at MOD Pizza. Customer Service Epic Fail! I took my family to mod pizza tonight for dinner. 1-When my name was called I went to counter where I saw my 3 pizzas burnt to a crisp. Employees were arguing and the cook (or manager) said, "just serve them like that". I had to ask for them to be remade. 2-while waiting for the remake, a staff member came over to our table and told us we were not allowed to have more than 6 and had to split up! On a busy Independence Day in the city of bend, it's very difficult to find places to eat without having to wait forever. It was around 9pm and most places are closed by this time. We found MOD pizza and gave it a shot. We made an online order which was super fast and cheap! It was sooo yummy and the pizza was ready before preferred pick up time. I ordered a cauliflower crust that was delicious and loaded it with all kinds of veggies and dairy free cheese! It was delicious! My family ordered regular pizzas with your usual toppings. They're made to order which is nice, especially with a group with different preferences. They said the crust was thin, so if you like a thicker crust, order that specifically. The cleanliness of the staff has not improved, it has only gotten worse. The attitude of the staff is to barely acknowledge your presence. The speed of the service has gone down hill. When they opened, The line would be out the door and it still wouldn't take more than 20 min to get your order. Now? You might be the second person in line and it will still take you 30 min to get your food. If you order online to get through quicker, you might as well expect your order to be wrong and not be ready. I really hope that things change back for the better and soon. I tend to start with the suggested pizzas on the wall--just something to give me an idea. But from there, I always make my pizza my own. There are tons of sauces--red, white, pesta, olive oil. Lots of meats--spicy sausage, bacon, pepperoni, Canadian bacon. And tons of herbs and veggies--roasted garlic, sweet peppers, arugula, pineapple. Once you design your pizza, they fire it up in the oven. MOD is great for kids and groups, and the customer service at this location is always tops. Floats are bottomless, and the Marionberry lemonade hits that right balance between sweet and tart. I'm definitely a fan of MOD. What a great concept for that quick lunch. The location is not too far from my place so that makes it convenient. If I worked in the area that would be the place to go for lunch. Design your own pizza/salad bar. If you order the small salad it may seem small but I still couldn't finish it. Nice variety of stuff to add but I would prefer prosciutto to bacon in the line up. I dig the views, food and business model! Being able to watch your pizza get made is awesome, and the price is right. I like the subway model where they let you put things on your pizza, from meat to veggies to different sauces! Maybe not the highest quality pizza, but cheap, fast and still overly delicious.
