Ambience - This place has a very unconventional vibe going which is actually pretty cool. It is very much like FreeBirds, employees dressed casual, normal music playing ( not that elevator crap ) and they dont have to hide their tattoos and piercings.Yay! Because you know... its the 21st century and no one should be shamed for what they are. Anyways, the decor is pretty standard for new modern stores, they have a big back wall with blown up pictures of guests and employees. The kitchen is open and you can see everyone and everything that is going on. Store was very clean when i got there. Menu - Like most chains like this, it is a build your own pizza buffet line style where you can chose whatever you want with all that you want. The selection of toppings, sauces, cheeses, meats and extras is pretty top notch. They cover all the basics ( obviously, otherwise this would be a very strange pizzeria ) and also have some very nice elevated items as well. Never seen this before but they even have brussel sprouts.... you know.... in case you wanted to ruin something. But hey its there if......your weird. The selection of toppings is a good and varied range of items. They have 3 types of pizza you can get which is the regular, mini and the MOD (which is just 2 crusts to make it a non thin crust pizza). And if you dont trust yourself with selecting the proper toppings they have a large predetermined pizza menu. I mean its hard to mess up a pizza but there are temptations out there you might want to add out of curiosity......like brussel sprouts..../shivers. You can also make a salad pizza, which is exactly what it sounds like, salad on a crust! Yay for innovation. They do also carry a nice selection of beverages like soda, teas, lemonades, bottled beverages and even beer on draft. Service - Top Notch. When i walked in i was greeted by multiple employees. As soon as i got to the menu the young girl asked if i had been here before and i responded no. And then she went on to explain the whole process and every aspect of the creation of my food. She was extremely friendly and helpful, and guess what? She had lots of facial piercing! HERETIC! WITCH! People with those things cant be human! Ugh calm down grandma. I also saw another employee with her hat backwards and she had several tattoos. Yet while i sat and ate these 2 employees were honestly some of the friendliest employees i have seen. I saw several (which im assuming are regulars) guests come in and these two employees helped them right out and made their food without even asking. One of the guests actually all she got was a salad, which is awesome if someone goes to a pizza place to get a salad. Thumbs up! Anyways, i saw the whole crew being awesome with every single person that came in. So this was an awesome point in case that just because someone has these things doesnt mean they are a delinquent. I had great service and they were all super nice. Sorry, ill take my soap box and go now. Food - I got a normal MOD pizza with red sauce, cheese, pepperoni, Italian sausage, green / red peppers, corn and onions. Which is pretty much what i get anywhere. I also got a side of garlic strips which is just a mini crust with garlic and butter. But it was really good with my pesto dipping sauce. My pizza came out nice and hot, cheese was melted nicely. They cut the pizza only into fourths thou, nothing bad just unusual i guess. This is 'Merica, we cut it into eighths, guess this is part of the lets be different vibe. Anyways. The pizza was really good, there wasnt an abundance of sauce or cheese and you could taste the toppings. The quality of the toppings where very good. The crust on the bottom was cooked right, as there wasnt an excess of black carbon to pollute my soul... i mean heart. It was a good quality sausage and pepperoni. And surprisingly i could taste the corn, which normally i cant, i just get it for aesthetics and hope that i can taste it. I love corn. So that was super awesome. Only down side to the taste of my pizza was the standard cheese. It is the elementary quality that we got as kids in school. I mean it isnt bad but it is also a very basic cheese. I get it thou since cheese is expensive and they use a lot. But otherwise it was a really good personal pizza. I had a great ratio of toppings that i could taste everything and nothing was lost. Definitely would recommend. OVERALL - This place was pretty awesome, this location in particular. I saw people coming and going the entire time i was there. Saw several regulars and chatted with the team. Crew members were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to the young lady with the piercings for genuinely explaining the process. There are plenty of times people will explain the menu but you can tell it is just them regurgitating a spiel. Food was great and the menu was varied. Leaving this review because it's personally annoying that I always confuse this place with the much better Blaze Pizza. Red flag #1 was the off-site phone ordering service. The lady had no idea what items were actually available in-store since she wasn't there, and her menu was totally different than the official online website. Very awkward. Next, the product. Thin pizza, overpriced, nothing special. Always underwhelming. The staff? So the store layout is bad and it took me a while to understand where I was supposed to pick up my pizza. So I walk to the sign that says pick up and stand there staring straight at this fat guy for probably ten minutes while he angrily packed to go orders and ignored me. I kid you not, I stood there for at least ten minutes staring at this guy while he ignores me, and I assume he's getting around to mine so I remain patient. Turns out mine had been sitting on the counter getting cold the entire time I was in the store. No one bothered to acknowledge me until I asked where my food was, and no one seemed to notice how wrong it was that my food was right in front of them yet they had let me stand there for so long. Lots of places have younger staff, but I sat around waiting looking from person to person and the vibe was neither friendly nor customer oriented. So in closing, I only write this review to steer you towards Blaze Pizza. The staff is amazing and the pizza is so much better. read more

On moving day we stopped by here for a quick bite after hours of backbreaking labor, looking for something to reenergize us. The decor is pretty nice for a chain, and there is a nice patio with sidewalk chalk for the artsy folks as well. You can basically get whatever you want on your pizza for one price, so I started with a base that had a red sauce and 3 meats and added sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, basil, chili flakes, jalapenos, roasted garlic and a few other things before finally feeling content to let them throw it in the oven. The pizzas cook quickly and service is very friendly, and most importantly the pizza was a pretty good size, a reasonable price and quite good. Not my absolute favorite pizza in town, but for something that has no wait, is conveniently located to us, serves beer, has a patio and solid pizza and great service, it warrants all 5 stars from me. I will definitely come back and would love to try the cinnamon sticks and the srirancha dipping sauce for the pizza next time. read more

I love this place! The pizza is delicious; thin crust, flavorful sauces, fresh ingredients. As many toppings as you like for the same low price! They have some pre-designed topping combinations, or you can build your own. I have tried both ways, and both were equally fantastic. The service is great too. Everyone was super friendly, and eager to help. From greeting us at the door to clearing our plates once we were done, the staff seemed genuinely happy to do it! I have been to this location twice. The service had always been wonderful. I love the fact that I am able to pick whatever toppings I want without the price going up. The first time I went I was unsure about the quality so I just got a mini pizza with veggies. By the time I finished it, I was regretting that I didn't get the dinner size pizza. I love their lemonade, which doesn't taste artificial but really fresh and delicious. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. I originally went in here for a salad. You can get one with any topping on it from their bar. But the lettuce looked old and very wilted like something I'd feed my pet rabbit. So I decided to try a mini pizza instead. And we'll it was really good. I love their crust and the pizza was just the right size for me. But there are a couple things that I didn't like at all. All the tables were filthy. They had food and trash everywhere. Not good at all. It looked like somebody hadn't cleaned the tables all day. Also my son and husband used the bathroom and came out and said the same thing. The bathrooms were nasty!! And that's a HUGE NONO for me. Really made us think how sanitary the workers are that's handling your food..The woman making my pizza was not very friendly at all either. In fact she made a pizza in front of mine wearing the same gloves that she just had in the jalapeño peppers. When I asked her to change her gloves as I am allergic big time. She got a snippy attitude and rolled her eyes. Idk they need to work On cleaning up this establishment and especially the bathrooms, that's just nasty. And work on their customer service. Great first time in. I had such good service! It can be over whelming with all the choices but with good guidance from the guy making my pizza I ended up with something great. I love that they don't charge for toppings so you truly get whatever you want and know exactly what you're paying. MOD Pizza is a strong 4 stars because what you get exceeds the price you pay. The dough is made in-house, the ingredients are fresh, and on most pizzas you can get out of there for less than $10. If you're really hungry you can get a mega-MOD, which is two layers of crust, cheese and sauce, then your selected toppings. Once your pizza comes out of the brick oven, you can top it off with a drizzle of your choice. I always pick the buffalo. Oh, and for the anti-carbos, you can get any pizza in salad form. Great new pizza option in North Austin/Cedar Park! Personal pie concept where you choose your own toppings, as many as you want, for one set price. Took the whole family and everyone was happy because they got exactly what they wanted. No negotiation as to what we were getting on our pizzas. They even have mini sizes for the kids! Well, we've been back a few times and it just seems to get worse and worse. From less than friendly customer service to less than good food.. the pizzas from here and the customer service used to be really good. Now the interactions between customers and employees seems like the customer is most certainly bothering to employee.. from being told "we are too busy can you make up your mind?" to basically just really bland, less than desirable pizza. I enjoyed going here for cost, friendliness, speed of service and most importantly taste of food... now, I'd rather get a frozen "Red Baron" pizza from the freezer section at the grocery store.. We almost didn't stop because I looked online and it was labeled "fast food" category. I would not describe this as fast food just because of it's quality. The people working are really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is pretty good. We sat on the patio and it was quiet, despite being in a busy strip center. I ordered the Dominic and it was really, really good. Crust is light and crisp and the toppings were fresh. They have two sizes to choose from; both are personal sizes mini and 11". They also have beer and wine. We will definitely be back. Nice to have another option up here. This place would be good for a large group as their patio has large tables to accommodate. read more

If you offer a gluten free crust, you should also state in your advertising that you can't guarantee a gluten free meal. This is the conversation I just had: "Do you have the gluten free crust?" "Yes but this is not a gluten free environment?" "Can you do anything to avoid cross-contamination?" "No ma'am, we are not allergy-friendly." "Okay thank you." And I left. Seriously?
