The cross-contamination of food at this place is horrible. The service was very slow. Not sure if they were understaffed. The vibe of this place has changed for the worse since opening. The prep area was just not clean. This should have been the sign to leave. I thought maybe they were busy, When I received my pizza it was very much overcooked. The crust was too hard to eat. My pizza was the cheesiest cheese I have ever had. The amount of grease and nasty cheese that was on my pizza was blasphem. I have never been so mad in a restaurant in years. I left starving because I couldn't eat my food because of the amount of this white and yellow ass cheese on the pizza. The people were chill, but the pizza was garbage. Love me some Mod Pizza! The concept is great. Build your own pizza with high end and creative ingredients. The wood fired is nice, even though it makes the cauliflower crust crunchy at times. Their original crust is thin but tasty. My favorite food here is the No Name Cake, specifically the holiday peppermint flavored treat. Try one! Or a few. The best part is the excellent service with a smile. They really seemed to want to make sure I was going to enjoy my pizza! I like this location a lot. read more

Delicious pizza. I dug the Vegan options. I loved the Vegan cheese. Most pizza places charge a premium for extra toppings, but this place does not, as you can get all the toppings you want for the price of a pizza. You wouldn't expect ice tea to be a star, yet here it is. I like ice tea everywhere, yet here the label above the unsweetened ice tea dispenser says they brew it themselves. Order pizza for delivery received the wrong pizza. Call the store spoke to a manager. They reassured me. I was going to be reimbursed unfortunately but the next day. Also promised to make it right with me make the correct pizza and I could have it delivered whenever I want. Days go by no reimbursement called the store spoke to the manager sounded exactly like the same person I spoke to. Refused to give me reimbursement denied ever speaking to me, so basically I was stuck with a black olive pesto pizza which nobody ate when I actually ordered a meat lovers. So basically just donated to their pizza fund and receive nothing in return. You should always do as you say to your customers if you say you're gonna refund refund if you say you're going to reimburse reimburse whatever the case is, you should do what you say. How this place has any stars is a mystery to me. It's become a running joke in my family how bad this place is. Unfortunately, my kids love the pizza and it's the only place my kid can get a dairy free pizza (allergy). Every time we go, it looks like it's every employee's first day. I actually feel bad for the employees. It looks like they're doing their best, but it's like they've had no training or aren't given what they need to succeed. I would guess the problem is at the management level or maybe a district manager if there is such a thing. If you walk in and see as many as 4 people in line, just know it's gonna be at least 45 minutes before you're eating. Today, I figured I'd order online to avoid dealing with this place in person. My pickup was supposed to be at 7. I deliberately showed up 20 minutes after so I wasn't standing around waiting. It wasn't ready til 7:50. They were super apologetic, refunded my check, and offered 2 free pizzas on next visit. I definitely won't be back after this many bad experiences. I wish the employees best of luck. Used to go here before covid and it was always good. Now it has really gone downhill. The crust tastes like frozen store bought, and the employees with bad attitudes clearly do not want to be there. After you order you better hang out right in front of the pizza or you will never get your pizza. NOTE TO OWNER: Invest in a PA system! I went to my table and it was so loud with music and no PA system to hear your name called so I did not hear. The idiot guy at the pizza never called my name a second time and my pizza just sat there getting cold until I noticed everyone after me had already received their pizzas so I want to the pizza counter and asked if my pizza was ready and he handed it to me with no apologies. MOD Pizza wouldn't be my go-to pizza shop, but it's good in a pinch! My friend and I were craving pizza, so we stopped at MOD. The restaurant wasn't crazy busy- there were maybe 2-3 people in front of us in line, but we still waited about 15 minutes to order. Most of the workers were preoccupied with online orders, so we waited quite a while. The ordering process itself is pretty unique- you select your crust (thin or thick), and then select your toppings. They had 5 sauces to choose from, 4-5 cheeses, and dozens of other toppings (including vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options)! You can choose as many as you'd like if you go the build-your-own route. There were also salads for those not interested in ordering a pizza. The pizza itself was quite greasy, but still decent nonetheless. I paid $9 for a quick, custom pizza so can't really complain. There were also plenty of seats indoor and out. Overall, I wouldn't go crazy over MOD but I'd come if I were looking for a quick, cheap, late-night pizza. read more

Their ingredients are so fresh and they put just enough of everything to stop you from overdoing it and creating a monster. My pizza was amazing and got me full with 2 slices left to spare. What I got was a very dry, items-moved-to-middle, dough-only top of pizza that looked horrible. It didn't taste any better, that's for sure. The presentation was bad, the crust was dry, the ingredients were far-and-few inbetween. The delivery factor possibly didn't help the product, but I wasted $11 on this pizza, which was the size of most places small pizzas. Once again, MOD Pizza continues to disappoint - it's literally their service and their rules. Maybe the food is good? I've never gotten that far yet - terrible management and service every single time. In this story, I'm a delivery driver ordering a Caesar salad (mini size) with some ingredients removed and some items added to it as a "Mod." Upon ordering a Caesar salad with spinach added I was immediately reprimanded for not understanding that they could not "Mod" a Caesar salad. ROFL I tried to order from this restaurant a final time, even warned friends about their service ahead of the call on speaker phone and without fail they failed by informing me I didn't understand. I have been using the Techridge store since it opened. In the past year the service has dropped off a cliff for their delivery. Three times in a row delivery has taken almost two hours because of staffing issues, and each time the order was wrong. You can have unlimited toppings (and they have a lot of options), so I went all out: chicken, tomato, corn, sweet potato, basil, cilantro, and a BBQ swirl. Yeah, I know, weird. Tasted great to me though! My only complaint was the crust. It was thin and crunchy, but I like my crusts to have more chew to them. In general we love MOD pizza, we first tried it in Houston and loved it, but this location, service wasn't good, the lady who made our pizza was arrogant, rude and rushing. After two toppings, she started making face when we wanted more than two toppings, she barely was putting cheese and toppings so pizza was pretty much bland. I decided to give MOD Pizza a second and third chance and I've been pleasantly surprised at my recent experiences compared to the one inhad when they had recently opened. The pizza is pretty dammed good and definitely a good deal because of the 4 toppings at no extra cost. I was also really impressed with the service. It's been attentive and welcoming.the dinning experience is good, there's outdoor seating and the design on th e inside is funny with a mural of customer photos. The pizza is thin crust, and the sauce is in the sweeter side, but it's a nice flavor. The salad bar is also a nice touch because it includes unlimited additions at the same cost. I really like the blackberry lemonade however. I'm definitely looking forward to putting this into regular eatery rotation. read more

A decent pizza place with a suitably 'Mod' way of dining: individual custom pizzas, built and baked when you walk up to order. It is classically American self-serve (they call your name up, you get the finished pie), but the style is actually classically old-school Italian. When I was lucky enough to travel south of Rome on the Italian 'boot', most all of the places in Calabria and Sicilia worked like MOD - you ordered up a custom pizza the size of a typical round placemat, and they'd toss it and put into the oven for you! Decent meat toppings and stretchy mozzarella. I only give the nods to a couple places over this one based purely on my personal taste: I prefer my crust less 'bendy' and more 'crisp', and the fact that it's too damned LOUD in this restaurant. This wasn't due to crowds, which I could understand (I was there at 11:15 on an off-day, no one in line and only 3-4 people in the place. The server/chef and I had to repeat ourselves a couple of times in order to make ourselves understood. Come on, guys - you're not playing Dean Martin, and he's not belting out 'Volare'. Dial it back a notch. :-) Bring earplugs, but do visit this place and try the pizza! This place gets 3 stars on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Gotta give this one 3 stars. Food's not bad, atmosphere is ok, staff is generally friendly, price is good for what you get. You get to create your own custom pizza, and it can turn out really good. (Pro tip: don't go too heavy on the sauce - it can result in soggy crust.) They also have a number of "standard" pizzas, of which my favorite is the Dillon James (basically a margherita pizza). Place is generally clean, but sometimes they could be quicker wiping off the tables. I've had to wipe a a few off myself in the past. Do I think about going to Mod's regularly? Honestly I don't. It's kind of like when I'm out and about, already near the place and I'm hungry and the "Pizza Genie" nudges me to pull in the parking spot. I don't go to Mod's expecting to have a "superior" pizza experience. They feed me, food's decent, I get good value for my money, and the place isn't a dump. I loved this place and there pizza 2 months ago. Having said that... I've ordered pizza twice in the last month. I wear a mask and gloves, supposed to pickup the pizza at the door or curbside delivery. Both times I went into the store and they hadn't even started my order. I arrived 15 minutes after the time that was confirmed when I placed my order. I was told that the order just came in so I waited uncomfortably while being exposed to four other customers that came in and heard the same story. I won't expose myself to this again. However they must be struggling to stay in business as they over charged me (double) upon discovery of this I was told will refund no problem. That was two weeks ago and no refund or even a response from the GM or Corporate office despite four phone calls and four emails.
