Thought I would try this place for lunch again since my only visit was right after they opened originally. My lunch was almost the same again, however this time pizza makers were wearing gloves, all except guy feeding pizzas in and out of the oven and on to your plate. He still doesn't wear gloves and touches the pizzas with his hands to slide it off the wire tray and then continues to play on his phone, touch his face, etc right before he touches your pizza again to put it on a plate. My son got hassled today by their "woke" employees. Yelled and harassed my son to put a mask on which he did not have one on him and the employees did not have any to offer so they threatened to kick him out. I don't know how Mod Pizza classifies the word "professional" but I think someone with a brain should take over the hiring process. Mod Pizza served my family burnt pizza. When we returned the worst of the batch that pizza was taken and thrown on the counter by the manager. He said he was having a bad day. We struggled around the pizza eating as much as we could avoiding the burnt pieces as best as we could. I will never ever go back to this location. Our complaints have not been answered so they don't care. BTW $45 for 3 is way too expensive to not get quality food. read more

We've been getting our pizza from MOD. The quality of their pizza is top of the list, we enjoy each time we order. Tonight is the first time ordering salad and my recommendation, go to Safeway or Kings and purchase a salad kit for half the price and get it much fresher. We through away part of the salad that was brown and paid the same cost as the pizza. read more

From a 5 to a 3 due to staff indifference, 3-1 because the experience with the manager was worse. Do not visit in person unless you want to stand - not in a line, because there isn't one - and watch them process phone order after phone order, not even deigning to acknowledge the fact that you made the effort to come in. Be prepared to stand there well over 5 minutes, approaching 10. Again, just you, not a line, just you. Whatever you do, don't point out to the manager the poor older couple who came in after you and are stuck in the same timeless void: rude doesn't begin to cover it. About 1 minute of customer service training could have solved it, but I guess that was 1 minute the store's management didn't have. Tl;dr: phone it in, cause that's what their staff and management are doing. read more

This is like a subway or chipotle for pizza! One price and you get whatever toppings you want, built right in front of you, then they wood fire it. Great place if everyone prefers different toppings or wants to experiment with different toppings. read more

First timer. It smelled really good when we came in. Employees were no help. No greeting, stares at me like a stoner while I had menu anxiety trying to figure out what this place is. I got one-word answers to my questions about how things work here. Just no friendliness - or a pulse, really. Made me feel suuuuper weird. It's 2:00 and the floor was super messy, but there are like 8 people working here right now. Got my food, and it was really good, actually, but the vibe I had from everything before made me not WANT to like it. Got a delicious pizza with broccoli, asparagus, peppers and onions, whole cloves of garlic, spinach, cilantro, fresh basil, tomatoes, corn and all sorts of other goodies. After several disappointing Mod Pizza experiences at other locations we trepidatiously gave this one a try and were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was cooked perfectly not burnt like at the Park Meadows location and the employees were all super friendly. There also wasn't a line out the door like at Castle Rock so they didn't just rush making it and slop the toppings on. It was crafted like it was made by artisans. Just tried this bad boy out for the first time in my existence. I had my best friend mention this place to me one day and we both tried it out this evening. This pizza place is a replica of a Chipotle, but pizza style. I'm pretty sure this business was Chipotle's idea too. But anyways, the line to get food wasn't too bad for a Saturday evening. Once you get up to the windows to order you tell the employees what size pizza and toppings you'd like. Then they fire it up in the oven! When I went to check out though, I asked the cashier what types of wine they had and the girl said "red or white" with no explanation... so I went with a sparkling soda instead. I would say to the managers of this place, to maybe have their employees a little bit more educated on alcohol, since y'all serve it! Other than that the food came out quickly and the pizza was absolutely delicious. Obviously, I had to order some cinnamon sticks for dessert. They come with chocolate, strawberry and cinnamon dipping sauces... and man were they tasty!! The atmosphere of this place is super casual and chill. Good deal, reasonable prices for build your own individual pizza. As many ingredients as you want, no extra charge. As for the product, the pizza was good, not counting the crust. The crust was a 3 on a 1-10 scale. It just didn't resemble or taste like pizza crust. I would probably go back if I wanted a quick individual pizza, but only because Pizza Locale & Blaze are too far away. I swear, the secret ingredient in this pizza is crack. IT'S SO GOOD. The crust is almost like a flakey naan... the toppings are amazing (and they don't nickel and dime you for them), the salads are delicious, and the fresh lemonade is yummy. I've been here twice now, both times with both of my young children. And we have had a great experience each time. The kids have fun and love watching and participating in the build-your-own aspect, which makes them stoked to sit down and eat (Same here). I figured this place would be more of a novelty than anything else, but I was totally impressed! The crust is really good and all the ingredients are of great quality. I can't remember what I ordered the first time, but I remember it being great. This time I ordered the "Ella" (pictured) which was out of this world!! So good! Love the seasonal lemonades and ice teas they have (Today was blackberry lemonade and caramelized pear black iced tea). And they have beer too!! The community feel is really nice as well. We love seeing pictures of all the local schools and organizations on the walls. Management walked through the dining area more than once during our meal to check on patrons. It's very comparable to Pie Five across the street at Southlands except with more energetic employees and a flat price for all the toppings you want. We love the fact that you can get EVERYTHING in the line and it will still be at an affordable price of $7.97 for the "Mod" Pizza. It always tastes so fresh, and they have a large selection of toppings like fresh basil, onions, many different sauces, etc. They also have a wide selection of drinks because they offer 4 homemade different iced teas and lemonades. Today is our second time coming this week. Today, I got a pizza and I think it turned out to be burnt. When they called my name they said that they were making me another pizza. She still gave me the burnt one to take home. When they called my name again, they gave me a super fresh, soft pizza. She also gave me a coupon for a free "Mod" Pizza or Salad on my next visit.
