The establishment that used to be here was a BBQ joint which was good as well so this brick and mortar didn't skip a beat. The food is made from scratch and I can tell it was as well. I ordered the 1/4 fried chicken and greens. They had the best collard greens so far and they even have vinegar for the greens. Only people from the south know about that. Ha. Valerie was very courteous and ensured you had everything you needed.

It was definitely a strange experience talking to an automated voice to place my order. Once I pulled up to the window, I asked the employee to read back my order -- and sure enough, it was wrong. Thankfully, the human fixed it right away (shoutout to them for saving the day). Honestly, we don't need AI taking orders. It messes them up worse than Taco Bell after midnight. I noticed that the employees had to stay overtime, past their shift just because a couple of cars had rolled in. If those cars don't stop, neither do the employees even if it's over 30 minutes past their shift. Steven yells at their employees and makes them cry from what i've heard, they made my experience horrible because of how they treat their employees. Nobody should go, until steven is fired.

This was their 2nd sandwich to make up for the dried up dog treat. Yum raw chicken.

The best, standup option being the BYOB (build your own burger). Diners can choose between buffalo, angus, or smashed patties and then customize to satisfy whatever craving is on for the day. The wonderful part being the large selection of toppings, cheeses, and condiments, so anyone can make a simple burger totally monstrous. Don't hold back on the beverage menu either because the bar staff here don't (for reasons being why they limit drink orders). Our waitress was so fun and we enjoyed her stories (the latter sold us on the baked pretzel, which we devoured immediately). Well behaved doggies are welcome and allowed at/in the (enclosed) patio.

On the other hand, my dining companion had brisket in parts of it were actually burnt, and the entire thing was dry. I've noticed other reviews on here where people have noted the same thing. I hope that restaurant upper management can address this repeating issue. For us, however, the story had a happy ending. The manager apologized profusely and offered a partial credit and offered to make something different or replace the brisket. That right there is outstanding customer service. For the good service, the great food, and the outstanding managers in the restaurant, I can fully endorse this restaurant and give it five stars.
