This place hits it out of the park. One of my favorite pizzas ever. They finally get it. We don't want all that crust and we want lots of ingredients. They make it exactly like you want it. One price, however many or much of the ingredients that you desire. I got the Jasper which is a mozzarella mushroom and spicy Italian sausage pizza and added roasted garlic, pepperoni and green peppers - again, no extra cost. Crust was perfectly done and ingredients were certainly generous. Tasty and fresh, this pizza also came out very fast because the crust is so thin. I could not say anything negative because there was nothing negative. They asked me if I had military affiliation and I said that I didn't however I have been working government in support of the military for 30 years. They gave me the military discount. I am heartbroken. They changed their gluten free pizza crust. The old formula was excellent. The new crust is thick, cracker-like and disgusting. The staff is still friendly and amazing but the GF pizza is inedible. So sad to lose a restaurant I can eat at. read more

First time trying this place. The customer service was good, the other reviews mention bad service but I suppose it depends on the individuals because this crew was friendly. They were not to busy and it was fairly early so it was clean environment and fast service. The pizza was really good! I much rather have this than dominos or papa johns. Also the toppings come with the pizza you purchase unlike the previously mentioned franchises where you pay for each topping. I got the cinnamon strips too but they were not as good, needed a little more dough and cinnamon I think ill leave those out next order, that said they were inexpensive. I will definitely have MOD Pizza again especially when the new Dunkirk location opens up. read more

MOD pizza loses it's novelty quickly. It's nice because you can get as many topping as you like for a cheap price which is hard to do anywhere else. I don't hate the place and do come here every so often but not as much as I used to. This location always seems understaffed. Also finding stray thick hairs on pizza is a turn off. read more

Went yesterday and the pizza was really good and the service was as well. My wife said the two types of lemonade are awesome. Gripe(s)- They were out of mushrooms. Huh? Mushrooms are kind of a staple of a pizza joint and Giant Foods is about 50 yards away in a pinch. Also, the menu advertizes beer and wine but that was not the case. I really love this place! It reminds me of the chain 'Blaze Pizza' that I so enjoyed in Los Angeles. The staff is really friendly, albeit quirky and the vibe is definitely West Coast (which is where it began). The toppings are fresh and flavorful, and you make your own pizza and choose which size. Typically I get the 'Mad Dog' for my husband and I make my own 11 inch. The balsamic fig glaze at the end is simply divine. Pizzas are fast fired in an oven and ready very quickly. If you're in a rush they also have pick up-you can call ahead and order. So happy this place is here to stay hopefully! read more

Interesting concept, poorly executed. Will not go back. The good: 1. Can have any combination of toppings added to your pizza. 2. Quite reasonable, and the same, price regardless of the toppings you choose to add. 3. Quick preparation of pizza after ordering. The bad: 1. Assembly-line, point to what on your pie, pay before you get out of the line and sit down concept. 2. Thin, pasty, uninspiring, pre-made raw pizza crust that is baked after you finish ordering (required for the concept of an assembly line pizza concept). 3. Dull sauce. 4. Toppings of modest quility. 5. No liquor license, no wine, no beer. 6. Loud background music. The ugly: 1. Cold, industrial decor ambiance. 2. Background music that is too loud and more appropriate for a bus station than a restaurant. 3. Good place for after soccer game crowd or teen, junior college set, but not so much for adults. read more

This is an unfortunate post because we come here at least once a month and never had an issue. I ordered mini and Mod size pizzas. The person that prepared them used maybe a half a scoop of sauce - both pizzas, then tried aimlessly to spread it. The mini was barely coated so when it came out, I could see the crust through the cheese. The Mod pizza had at least a 2-3"crust all the way around, as if all of the toppings were in the center. I said something to one of the staff as I watched another Mod size pizza come out that looked alot more presentable. He said they all have to have a certain amount around the edge. I told him to look at the pizza that he just took out, he agreed and asked to make another - cudos on customer service. Unfortunately, I had no time but asked they be consistent going forward. If i take home a Mod size pizza, it should a be Mod size without extra crust that no one will eat. The place was not crowded, nor was there a line so there was no mad rush. We will go back again I'm sure as they always have fundraisers that we contribute to. After eating, we put the crust from both pizzas together and it pretty much made a half size Mod. The Gluten Free pizza here is DA BOMB!! No joke. Best GF pizza I've had in a while. Highly recommended for GF and husband enjoyed the regular pizza as well. Crispy and flavorful. YUMMERS. The only advice I give here is DO NOT BE SHY about what you want on your pie. Think it needs more cheese? Ask and thou shalt revieve. Want extra sausage? Go git it! You know what you like. I love the concept of this place, but without some adjustments, I don't have a good feeling about its longevity. Specifically, I was quite put off by the quality of the toppings. I was planning to order a salad with my pizza, but the greens looked so sad, I changed my mind. When I pointed out how unappetizing the greens looked, the server mixed them up with his (glove covered) hand and said "I'm not seeing what you are seeing." The pizza toppings did not look much better...If you are going to display food, it needs to look fresh and delicious, not tired, old and unappealing. So, I ordered a cheese pizza with extra sauce. I was impressed with the thin crust-still pliable enough to fold (some make them like crackers which I find off-putting) The Mozzarella was very good and the sauce smooth (unlike Bertuccis) and tasty. A final problem is the speed at which the oven cooks: part of the crust was burned while another was still a bit underdone. All in all a super fast, not bad pizza, but just not enough to lure me back with craves. My next to-try pizza in my never ending search for the best is Zarillis in Severna Park. We decided to try this place on a Saturday night, in anticipation of the soon-to-open Bowie location. It's a fast-casual "Chipotle-style" pizza place, with two sizes (basically, medium and small) of both pizza and salad. Price for the pizza is the same for a given size regardless of how many toppings you get. There are a few recommended styles, or you can just create your own. Food quality was a B-, or maybe a B if you're grading on a curve for fast food pizza. I ordinarily like thin crust pizza, but this one was too dry and cracker-like for my taste. The pizzas themselves (particularly the medium one with toppings) seemed a little undercooked on top. On the plus side, toppings seemed to be good quality, and there is a wide variety, including different sauces. The side salad would have been ok but the "balsamic vinaigrette" was extremely oily and overpowered everything else. Service was also a B. Staff is friendly, but not especially efficient. Some customers seemed intent on taking full advantage of the free toppings by adding about 12 things to their pizza, which didn't help. Even with a relatively basic order, a lot of repeating what you've ordered to different people and correcting staff's mis-hearings seemed to be required. We waited a good 15 minutes to order, despite only one other group being ahead of us. The overflowing trash at the exit also left a bad impression. After ordering, the pizzas were ready within 7 minutes (but that may have something to do with the undercooking issue....) This is potentially a good place for a quick lunch or solo dining at dinner. For a family, or even a couple, the bill adds up quickly and the food quality and ambience aren't really worth it. Ultimately it's not really an improvement on a basic by-the-slize pizzeria with counter service. read more

Did not even know this one was here, it was a 3 brothers last time I was in Annapolis. Same as all the rest , clean, fast, happy and the slowest Internet ever! Lol Had a white sauce, Brussels, bacon, onion and fig glaze. I love mod every time I come in but they need to rethink management. The assistant manager kris is so much more upbeat, formal, and focused than the general manager they have running that place. He doesn't handle pressure very well also. Constantly looks stressed, disorganized and his personal hygiene is poor.Love mod, but rethink your management team. read more
