Decided to stop here for bingsoo, since I've had it saved on my Yelp for a while and have been meaning to check it out. Good plaza at the corner of Fairview/Baker near Harbor Blvd. Pretty convenient location, same plaza as Eats Sushi, which I went to with coworkers last year. Ambiance is nice inside, but this was very obviously a pet-friendly place and it smelled like it too, especially in the restroom. Service - acceptable. Food - we ordered a large black sesame bingsoo. It was my friend's first time ever having a black sesame dessert. It was so good, we both really enjoyed it. It was so perfect and just hit the spot! The red bean, mochi, and almonds with the black sesame bingsoo all went together spectacularly. Such an amazing taste experience. Would definitely recommend this bingsoo spot, and may check out the Irvine location next time!

The line was…read morepretty intimidating, esp for a Sunday night (it was a holiday weekend though, so that might have been a big factor as to why it was so busy there that night)...but even with the long line, it went by pretty quick. Love the simple decor and vibe of this place. You can see the churros being made to order, which is cool. Ordered a bunch of churros for our group; the condensed milk is def my favorite dipping sauce, but the chocolate and I think the other one is caramel...is good too. Tried to eat all the churros we ordered cuz I don't like them when they're not fresh. So needless to say, I was pretty filled up with churros by the time we were done. The milk chocolate shake and choco milk were a hit with the kids as well. Not a TON of tables and chairs to eat right where the spot is at, esp with a big group, but there are tables inside Northgate..again, if it's not crazy busy, you should be able to find a spot. It was towards the end of the night when we hit up El Moro, so we all moved our cars close together in the lot in front of where the churreria is located and hung out there. Parking - It's the Northgate market, so it can get crazy busy, esp during dinner time. Service - Very friendly and patient, esp since it was our first time there.

Delicious, buttery savory pies!…read more I always go for their classic Chicken Pot Pie or their Steak & Ale. The chicken pie is more salty and savory, which makes it especially flavorful, which is why I really liked it. The steak and ale pie is hearty and filling, with a noticeable ale flavor and aroma. Staff was friendly and helpful, and ambience is cute, but it's a takeout spot, not really a great spot to go and eat. The butter chicken one was amazing from first bite. Indian and Australian cuisine complement each other beautifully. Had the hog one for dinner and the chicken one the next day for breakfast. Both still being very tasty after reheating. I grew up with making an "ice cream" sandwich by putting ice cream in a pandesal and tasting this just unleashed a core memory of being young and making an ice cream sandwich that way. We will definitely be back to try the other flavors! When we arrived there was a few people in line and when the line grew a bit, I think it was a manager that stopped what he was doing to jump in and help with customers which I thought was very considerate of him to do. Lastly, the location was charming and tucked away in the corner of the plaza. It had a few tables outside and in the adjacent Pop Pie shop to sit for a few minutes to enjoy the ice cream! We made a visit with friends on a Sunday night hearing the ice cream is made onsite, I was super excited. Unfortunately, I could only try chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla. It must have been a busy day because they ran out of all their flavors. Im guessing it doesn't keep well in a freezer for 48 hours after making it? The portions are sorry-small and the cones aren't great but they're functional. I was sad to see everyone served a dill-sized scoop that looks like someone already licked half of it off. The whole presentation of the scoop is just off-putting. I would much rather go to baskin Robbin's, Gooden Spoon, or Handel's where I can get a healthy scoop of ice cream (or yogurt) that also tastes great, but adds a few extras. I don't go out for ice cream just for the lick. I go to hang with friends and celebrate. You can't do that here. Atmosphere is part of the party too, but there isn't any. It might was well be an ice cream truck. Get your scoop under the flourescent lights and the giant refrigerator and get out. There's a few standard bus-stop style benches outside where you can sit and talk to a few friends though. I'll come back in a Friday night just out of curiosity and the ice cream is delicious.

First bite, I tried the milk side on its own, and I loved how light it was. Not overly sweet. Then I tried the matcha by itself. It tasted earthy and had that matcha flavor. When I combined the swirl together , the matcha definitely took the spotlight. It kind of overpowered the milk swirl but I didn't mind it because I'm a matcha lover. It still balanced out nicely. Just more on the earthy matcha side. Oh, and let's not forget about the waffle cone. It was perfectly crunchy and tasted so good with my soft served. Also, shoutout to the employee who handed me my order. He was super friendly, welcoming, and all smiles which always makes the experience better.
