Mochinut - Hot Cheeto mozzarella, coffee boba, churro donut - Donuts Near Me - Modesto, California

Their mochinuts are delicious! They have that soft and chewy texture you expect and great flavor. We tried the chocolate funnel cake, churro, and fruity pebbles. I definitely recommend this place if you like mochi! read more

Yummy boba , yummy donuts , yummy corn dogs , service is good as always , very friendly and nice . Ambience is small of a room but very nice area . Cute decoration read more

So yummy and light and the best drinks! Loved it! Super cute place and Thai tea was amazing!

First time I saw hotdog wrap in hot Cheetos, potato and Rice Krispies. It's very good hotdogs, you can try half mozzarella/half hotdogs too. They also have the delicious mochi donut and boba. Apparently this treats originally came from Korea. read more

My first time trying the hot Cheeto hotdog was in Vegas it was super yummy great cheese pull so I was super excited when I seen this place opening up today decided to give it a try . I read reviews that says this place takes awhile when you walk in and order so I made a call thru the phone I live across town took me 15 mins when I got there my order was ready when I got home the hotdog was a bit cold the cheese was also cold so I had to stick it in the air fryer I don't know if it's because I picked it up in 15 mins and it took another 15 mins to get home but if you want that hot cheese pull I suggest you walk in and order or else the hot dog wouldn't be that tasty . The matcha tea on the other hand tasted authentic I would order the drink again the donuts was more for looks it's cute but it as for taste it was alright . I prefer mr t's read more

Almost didn't find them as their sign outside is small and almost hidden, but they're there, next to BR31. I ordered a total of 8 pieces, thinking the lady would charge me the bundle rate of 6/$18, and just add the individual price for the extra 2 pieces. Nope! She tried to charge me individually for all 8 pcs. I kindly asked her to recalculate and she did but commented as if she was doing me a favor. The donuts were not warm! Bummer! I've been to other Mochinuts a few times and they've always been warm in the box. Its also deep in Modesto, not right off the freeway. Overall, not the experience I was hoping for. read more

Bad service, very disrespectful. They forgot our order and kept on forgetting what we wanted to order.

Somewhat expensive but a nice treat every now and again. Love the flavor and texture of both the mochinuts and Korean corn dogs.

The mochinut donuts are delicious, I like the raspberry funnel one the most! The drinks, however, are horrible. I tried the coffee, brown sugar milk tea, and the ube and was disappointed. The Korean hot dogs are also amazing! I love the original half-and-half. Great customer service as well. read more

This place is delicious!!! I just moved to Modesto from the Bay Area and have been looking for great food spots...this definitely is a must try!! read more

I would totally recommend this place. read more

Been here 3 times, and waited 25-30 mins every time for 2 Korean dogs when I've been told it only took 10 mins. Lady was not kind and rude when asked how much longer it would be. Seen like 3 people in the back working so idk why it took so long. Working like turtles. read more

The girl at the cash register was super friendly, I'm so glad we have a Mochinut in Modesto!

Very delicious , definitely will be going back the service was great !! And when it comes to the boba drink I would definitely go back for the horchata and mocha ...the ube boba for me was more of a vanilla flavor only , although it was still good. When it comes to the donuts they were all very delicious, sweet and soft my most favorite one would be the funnel cake donut. And finally the corndogs, they were all really crunchy, it was very hard to choose which one was my favorite because they were all very good definitely would recommend.! read more

Customer service sucks. They had one cashier told us our food/drinks would be ready in 10 minutes. Paid came back 10 minutes later food still wasnt ready. Waited another 30 minutes food was ready and cold, but drinks weren't ready she said put the food back in the car and she wilp have the drinks ready... No biggie i did just that and came back drinks still wasn't ready. I proceed to ask her about the drinks she said she already gave it, but it might have been to someone else... HUH?! Avoid this place could've sat down and ate at a restaurant with dessert. Smh read more

Delicious great service call ahead save yourself some time It's always ready by the time I get there.

First time coming here, the woman who took our order was polite, the waiting area was clean(I peeked in the back, it was organized and clean as well). We ordered one hot Cheetos original, another with mozzarella, and the original. We also ordered a Ube and Brown sugar milk tea which were great, It was less than a 10 minute wait and the food was fresh and yummy. If you like Asian fusion-style drinks, sweet, savory treats check it out read more

I love the place. I had some in Stockton and found this place in Modesto and it is great the potato one I can't get enough of. Sad that they close at 7 but a lot of people say they take a long time, and it's true but this stuff isn't frozen then put in the fryer. Call in ahead of time. Usually always takes 15min before you leave ur house call... you can find their number in their insta. Also the lady seems a lil mean in beginning but I promise she is a sweetheart. I also went though a lil "what the heck" moment with her but she runs a busy business and I've seen some people be rude to her. CALL AHEAD :) read more

Honestly, the corn dogs were pretty good, (hot Cheetos half and half, potato half and half) I tried my first one in Hawaii and although it doesn't quite meet the standards of the one I had in Hawaii; it still satisfied my craving (: it is a bit pricey for the size.., and the donuts were pretty good but also a little too pricey for what it is (we got 3 for 10) and there wasn't a lot of selection for the donuts.. we also got a brown sugar boba which wasn't very good to me... reminded me of the "honey smacks" cereal from the 90s which I wasn't a fan of lol but hey some people liked it. Soo to me the corn dogs were the only thing I'd go back for. I'd give ''em an 8/10 -They don't put sugar or sauce on the corn dogs- I'm not sure if they had some out for costumers to use but I didn't see any. read more

Only two people making the food. The drink was skimped on syrup and flavor also not what it looks like. It was put in a different cup and not as pictured. They need to hire more workers. read more

First experience was not the best. 2 months later I decided to come back because I really wanted to try the Korean dogs... they were super delicious. The potato one was kinda gooey inside from the wet batter. But the outside was crispy. The hot Cheetos one is my favorite The lady at register was being polite this visit. *ALSO I CALLED TO ORDER MY FOOD* Faster process! read more

0 STARS! JACKIE IS EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL, RUDE, & CONDESCENDING! Her attitude is disgusting and very embarrassing as a "grown" women!! Never again will I return. She ignored me, cut me off, & was very sarcastic throughout my FIRST & LAST experience there. JACKIE is extremely unprofessional!!!! Looking through all of theses reviews it looks like this is common behavior of her. It's sad how someone so miserable can destroy the reputation of a business. read more

So first this to start when I went inside of the store it was hot. Then when we get my drink I find weird white chucks of what it looks like to be milk. I was expecting better with the drinks aswell since either I have also gotten the matcha milk tea and that wasn't too good. read more

Food is good but customer service SUCKS asked how long it'll take said would be 10 mins had to wait almost 40mins which is fine if you're honest I wouldn't have waited that long if known prior which is probably why they said 10 . The girl in the front had some major attitude for no reason, just ew not a good place which sucks because I don't wanna have to go all the way to Stockton, but they are WAY better. Lame. read more

The food is bomb and the lady that is usually at the register is so sweet, and always gives good recommendations!

Love this place!! The doughnuts are always fresh and soft. The flavor choices are yummy. I have yet to have a bad flavor. The corn dogs are made fresh. Customer service is always fantastic! read more

Good food I knew it would be good and love the corn dogs hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. And the boba is so good way better than any drink I ever had.

The employees were very nice at this mochinut and even helped us pick out some things. The mochinuts were really good, would definitely recommend. Their original korean corndogs are good and all their corndogs come plain which was really nice as it gave us the option to add whatever we wanted on it. However their potato corndogs were unfortunately not fully cooked, a few bites into it and the batter was all raw. Other than this the rest of the food was good and I would recommend going here but just keep in mind that the potato corndogs are thicker so there might be a possibility the batter may end up not being cooked thoroughly. read more

The dogs were ok, big size and cooked well just a little boring after 2 bites. Service is very slow, It wasn't busy at all and took about 20 minutes, maybe look into more staff. Overall I rather have Mr. T's and hot dog on a stick. read more

I've been here a few times and everytime it was an okay experience to unpleasant. We've tried the different mochinuts, but they aren't as great as other places since they're cold too. We really like the drinks, but they still haven't gotten the boba and it's been months. The lady at the counter needs to learn to communicate better. Shes kinda rude and flustered every time I've ordered. Plus there is no ordering system. I've had times where people have gotten their items who have ordered before and after me. read more

Not the experience I have hoping for. Seems like lady only cares about making money. A shame..... honestly ): ALSO been out of boba forever!

Lady was being rude and have bad service, she then said my friend was taking long because their machine wasn't working. Then they starting talking about us in the back. It was unreal I have never experienced service like that! read more

The food was good but I asked for a boba tea and they did not have boba so I just ordered the tea and they forgot to give me it I had to ask them for it again the service was alright and I didn't really like the Korean corn dogs in my opinion it was pretty bad it also smelled bad and everything kept falling apart. read more

To save you the time I'd highly recommend going to another location .The Mochinut in Modesto is not like the other locations that they run. The place was very unprofessional and the place was unorganized ,uncleanliness with a bad smell. Their Mochinut looked like they be been sitting out too long.Honestly had the worst service ever and had to deal with very rude old Asian lady worker, I request a simple substitution on topping and to make them fresh an was instantly yelled at and be little . Was told I couldn't make any substitutions and had to go with what they had, which was not right. I never had any issues going to any other location that they run but this one was unacceptable. read more

I went and bought some tea, donuts and corn dogs. The corndogs were not fully cooked, it made my stomach sick! And i started vomiting never going to this place again!! read more

The service was bad. The worker was very rushing for no reason when no one else was behind us. And the food we ordered corn dogs and they were not cooked all the way you can still see the dough. The donuts were cold as well I do not recommend. read more
