Had a Crème Brûlée Coffee and and Channel Orange drinks. The coffee was not my favorite. Te si know Crème Brûlée gets torched BUT I've never had it taste burnt. That's all I got from the drink. They had two 4 person tables and a couple of high chair tables. I was able to study here for a little bit which was nice cause they also had outlets. In an effort to try all of the tea shops close by, I found myself at Tea Daze today--I had actually gotten it mixed up with a different shop and was in search of Ube Vietnamese coffee and not tea; lucky for me Tea Daze was able to deliver and satisfy my Vietnamese coffee craving with their "Wake Me Up." The ladies were really nice too; I was feeling flustered at my mix-up but they were patient and helped me find my drink on the menu. And my drink came up super-fast too! It's also really cute inside! I usually get the Thai green milk tea and it's pretty good. today I decided to try something different. I tried the icey wifey which on the menu it says "house made lemonade", my friend saw that the lemonade they used in my drink was powdered and they put so much blue raspberry syrup in my drink plus the powdered lemonade just made it taste so artificial and extremely sweet. I came back to switch it to Thai green tea and the girl said "it's not done brewing" and she didn't offer to change my drink even though I said it was false advertising to put "house made lemonade" and it's literally powder. She had a very rude attitude and said that they don't do remakes of drinks that customers don't enjoy??! I worked at 2 boba shops for 3 years and I have ALWAYS gave the customer a remake if they end up not liking the drink. Very disappointed in the customer service and the quality of the drink. Went to try this boba shop on my day off for labor day and it really wasnt the best. One thing was not having honey boba.. which was very disappointing considering it was a holiday and not close to closing as we got drinks around 6:30pm. Another thing was the customer service felt very sad as it didn't feel welcoming at all. While taking our order, they did not let us know that they had no butterfly pea tea for the hot summer or fruit for the slush we ordered (which we would have ordered something different if we were told that they were out of those factors). I really love going to this place on a weekly basis but yesterday I went 15 minutes before they closed and they stopped me at the door with an immediate "we are closed" even though they were not. I stated they are open for another 15 minutes and the girl told me "we ran out of boba for the night" as she was pouring boba into a cup. I give money to this place a lot but this is ridiculous. The location on Yelp is in the wrong store spot. Not at the corner of the plaza but closer to Barnes and Noble. We almost gave up looking for the place. Service was quick and easy.
