WAY TO OVERPRICED, and service is VERY slow. Their staff consists of mainly teenagers, which is of course fine, but at least have one elderly person who's had experience so that the service can run a lot smoother. Other than that tho, personally I don't think the food matches the price at all, especially for the milk teas they offer. The food, drinks, and staff are all amazing. My girlfriend and I always go out of town for this so we are so happy to finally have one in town. People need to stop complaining and whining about the long line and staff. They just opened. Give them a break. It's easy to get overwhelmed when it gets busy and people are complaining over stupid things. If you don't have the time or don't like it, don't go. Simple as that. Overrated. Overpriced. The food product was okay but nothing extraordinary. Definitely not worth the price. The most disappointing thing was how filthy the premises were. Trash and food on the floors, tables and counter. The trash cans were overflowing and the bathroom was disgusting. Updating my my review since people came at me that it was a soft opening lol I've been back twice and it's just as awful. There is so much better boba in the valley and for the Mochinuts and Korean corn dogs.. they're terrible. I've had them in LA, and OC, real ones, and these Dont even compare. I go to mochinut often and had never had a bad experience, but this past weekend I was there. I ordered three korean corndogs and three boba drink which were great, but costumer service not so much. I was handed my corndogs right away, but my drinks took twenty minutes. They forgot about them. I was patiently waiting, when I noticed that the three employees were playing cards. This was our second visit. We had long wait times due to long lines during the first visit. I can understand that it takes a few days to fix processes etc. The products were good. Not excellent but a yummy alternative when you are in the mood for something different. The second visit we decided to stop in because there were only two guests in line. The staff are incredibly slow. Why are there four people in the front talking? Why does it take 3 to solve an issue on the register? We just plain walked out. Not gonna wait for crappy service let alone the even longer wait time for the food. Won't return until they get their act together. Last time there were no straws and they don't wear name tags so idk what her name is but a younger girl with brown hair has this attitude and never smiles. She finished taking my order and then went on her phone, while her two coworkers argued cause none of them knew how to make the drink I ordered! Visited this location yesterday. The line was out the door and I waited like 25 minutes just to order the food. This Asian guy working on boba was working the hardest while everyone else didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. I would say to get your employees trained before letting them work. Once I got the food, the donuts were pretty bland and there was too much sugar. I also had a boba and it tasted phenomenal. I don't why there are so many one-star reviews on here. The donuts are really really good. I came in at 8pm and there was only one flavor in the case but they said they could make me any flavor they sold. I ordered 6 of all different flavors and it took less than five minutes. Staff was very nice and helpful. Decor is very cute and relaxing. Food in this valley tends to be pretty terrible and it's frustrating to see all these one star reviews on an actually good place just because people here don't like any lines or waits of any kind. Mochinut can be a four star or five star establishment, however, there is an issue with consistency of their dough. They have some fun and exciting flavors, but they are hit or miss regarding how chewy and moist the donuts are. For example, I ordered six donuts and only two or three of them had delicious and chewy dough. The rest tasted old or dry. read more

I Ordered two corndogs. it took 40 minutes to get it. i ordered the taro boba wasn't smooth at all there were chunks of food in the boba that kinda made me think it was old. they could serve their food warmed up a bit before serving. Went there yesterday with a friend because I had told her that there's a Mochinut in Indio and that I've had the Mochinut in LA and it's really good. The overall experience and product was VERY DISAPPOINTING! The staff looked like they didn't know what they're doing, didn't want to be there and just not confident. We had ordered two taro with boba drinks and two Mochinut donuts one ube and one peanut butter. The two tarp drinks were HORRIBLE! The drinks tasted like just milk and boba no taro even though it had somewhat of a purple color to it but it was AWEFUL! We were contemplating whether to go back and ask for a refund but we felt that the staff wouldn't even care about our thoughts. And plus, we felt that the staff are not trained enough to learn how to make this type of specialty drink. And the donuts we bought were $3.50 each and were really bland.. NO FLAVOR! The ube donut did not have that ube flavor. And the peanut butter donut was okay. I was really embarrassed that I had suggested this place to my friend because everything we had was really BAD and AWEFUL. A few nights ago, me and a couple of friends, ordered three Thai tea with boba, it took a little over 30 minutes to get three drinks. The place wasn't busy. In fact it was empty over 30 minutes how hard is it to pour milk and Boba in a cup? on top of that, there's a young man who took our order seems like he wears a beanie all the time he was so rude. We asked him about the donuts we asked him. What's the difference between these donuts in others in a very rude way. He said there's no difference, they're just donuts as if we asked a dumb question, and on their logo it says more than just donuts! anyways, the boba was overly sweet and disgusting. The donuts were extremely expensive and not fresh, and the young guy who wore the beanie shouldn't be working in customer service. If anything, he should be mopping the back of the store, where he doesn't have to be mean to people he could be mean why he cleans the restroom, I do not recommend this place at all.
