Expensive and very delicious donuts. Employees are different but somewhat professional and certainly nice. If I owned this business, I don't think I would be okay with my employees wearing sleeveless shirts no hair nets and no gloves. Although the location is really clean, the employees aren't covered up at all. It is kind of like Crumble where the donut options change on Mondays for the week . I love the churro, the plain, the honey, the honey with lemon, and funnel cake with powdered sugar and drizzle of chocolate. I cant wait to try the strawberry funnel cake and black sesame. The donuts have a really interesting texture- like a cruller but more chewy. Anyway, they are DELICIOUS! Drinks: I tried two of the drinks and they were really sweet and overdone. I thought it was also odd that they didn't offer sodas or water for purchase. Corndog: meat was in there somewhere I am sure but the coating overwhelmed everything. I also opted out of the sugar on the dog because I don't like savory and sweet on the same food item. This could be my problem. There are lots of combinations so maybe I just picked the wrong one on the suggestion of the store manager (beef with potato coating). This place could tighten up a bit and offer a wider selection of items. Donuts are 3 for $10 and hours are limited. Still, the mochi donuts are out of this World delicious. read more

What a great little shop. This place is about a month old. It is clean, cute, and vibrant. I have been to a couple Mochinut locations but this one is the cutest. There are a lot of photo op spots for those IG posts. The owner was very nice and all employees looked happy to be there. The minute you walk in you are greeted with giant screens to order or check out the menus. We have found that even though you are expected to order on the technology an employee is always happy to help. We went with one of each featured donut as well as a Korean half and half. It is half hot dog and half mozzarella stick rolled in flaming hot Cheetos. Even though the donuts are sitting there waiting for you they were incredibly fresh. The Korean dog was the most fresh as it was a bit of a wait. However, the family in won't of us ordered 7 of them. The wait is more than worth it as all of the food is fabulous. I also ordered the strawberry lemonade, this time without boba or any other jelly substitute. A bit heavy on the ice for me but same as every other restaurant. These mochi donuts are delicious. Love the soft and chewiness of the donuts. Best of all they are made fresh! I haven't been to any other Mochinut locations before so I'm not familiar with other food options that are sold here. I look forward to coming back and trying the Korean hotdogs and soft serve soon. Love Mochinut!!!! So happy to have one near home. Cute place! There are only a few tiny tables, so lingering here is unlikely. Ordering system is easy. There are multiple screens for self ordering but you can also order through one of the workers if that's preferred. Everyone there has been very nice and welcoming every time we came in. The donuts we tried have been very good. Love the different flavors. Not too sweet!!!. The soft serve flavors rotate every couple of weeks im told. They even have cute merch. Fantastic location of mochinut. I love mochinut and the quality the uphold no matter what location they have. I will say, I have rated mochinut before in the past as a 4 star. It was nothing about the food that made in 4 starts but the last location I went to. The staff was understaff and were relatively rude. But not here. At this location, the staff was so nice and accommodating for everything we wanted to eat or drink. Also, this location had a crazy set of donuts and they were a big reason for the 5 star rating. I went with the pocky matcha, ube wafer, and blackberry churro donuts All were 10/10 donuts and were so good. I came back two more times during my time in Washington. Service was quick but the tast of food was not matching with the cozy ambience. They serve boba tea and seal it. The opening is very small so it's very difficult to get the boba. Currently in their soft open (grand opening is Saturday, July 22nd) there is a limited menu but this menu includes: six types of mochi donuts (mochinuts offerings change weekly, unsure if this will be the same), some korean dogs, and some bubble teas. The place is pretty sparse but has a great start. There's a photo wall with social media posts and the opposing wall is perfect for photos. To order, there is a walk-up with two screens available. After you order two tickets are printed for you: a receipt and a ticket with your number and contents of your order. I came by around 4 pm on a weekday, there was a queue of about 4 people. I waited about 5 minutes for my order, not bad! As they are in their soft open, be patient while staff train and they work out other pieces that will hopefully make this place an amazing spot. Grand opening in late July 2023, their mochi donuts are more chewy than other places I have had mochi donuts from and totally loved it. I was surprised that my favorite was the passion fruit with pocky sticks - it wasn't too tart so it was perfect for me. The donut menu was limited but they are planning to expand the offerings in the near future. Once they work out a few kinks, it will only be better - the Korean-style corn dogs took awhile to come out, but they were worth the wait. Attending the soft launch just on a whim. We happened to be going to the Pet Store in the same parking lot. They were selling out quickly, and surprisingly on top of it for being (not even) day one. I had never had mochinut before and it was really good. I was expecting basically a donut, but it had a unique chewiness to it that was very pleasant. I also just loved pulled apart the mochi beads. This was my first visit here. The staff was real friendly and the place was clean. They tables where you can enjoy your food with games and such so everyone doesn't stare at their phones the whole time eating when they come with others. I did not try anything else other than the mochinuts, and I have to say that the ube churro one is my all-time favorite. The matcha oreo one just tasted like vanilla, and the blackberry one was okay. DIRTY! This place is so filthy. There is grime and dirt and dust on the floors everywhere, the countertops have layers of dirt and crumbs and sprinkles. The floor of the food prep area is equally as dirty. The machines are dirty. Their iPad is dirty. There is dust on surfaces in the lobby. The door to the back kitchen is also dirty. I lost my appetite waiting for our food and I'm concerned for the safety of our food if the establishment can't keep even its food prep or customer areas clean. We won't be back--it's not worth the health risk even if we like the donuts. read more

I came here today with a friend after seeing it a couple times and wanting to go in. We walked in and were immediately greeted by friendly employees. We ordered on a machine but I was able to ask the employee questions about what sauces I should pick. I had to try multiple things and I have to say it was all great! I think the half and half corn dog with potatoes and sugar was my favorite. They make the corn dogs after you order so be prepared to wait a few minutes while you pick at your donuts. There were some issues with the batter this morning but the employee communicated with us and let us know it was going to take longer and gave us some options. I really appreciated the open communication and the spot is so cute we didn't mind waiting. Inside the store they have a couple small tables and games, we thought that was so fun! The reason I took a star off is they have a few things to work out but they definitely have the potential to be a 5. We asked for water and he had to search for bottled water that isn't kept cold. He mentioned no one usually orders it. It seems like if they're going to have games and tables in the store they should be more prepared for people to eat there and at least have a small drink fridge. Their doughnuts are great - good mochi consistency. They are newly open. Went with a friend on opening day and the line was crazy. Hope the lines get better. Would hope in the future that store would use register in addition to large personal ordering screen to help move line along. Overall would recommend trying. read more

Seems it is owned by a family and when walking in you are greeted warmly. Feels nice and a welcome addition to the Canyon Park neighborhood. Clean shop with nice ambiance and speedy self checkout terminals make it quick to order. Updated review on 10/3/23 and some stars removed: Went back yesterday and got 2 donuts. They didn't have adequate bags so they put it in a random container which made it tricky to take it to go. Sorry, I don't show down 2 donuts in one setting and one was for my daughter. Suffice to say they were damned by the time I got home. I reached out to them on IG and made a friendly suggestion of maybe getting better packaging and was met with "Thanks, they are coming...see you again soon!" No trying to make it better by offering replacements or anything. Shame. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

A very clean space with computer self ordering. The menu was out of a few things but visually it was an easy process. Ordered a corn dog with cheese and hotdog and potato and it was delicious! Made fresh when you order. I did not order a donut because they aren't exactly my preference but the variety was good. The colors and flavors were fun. I wish the seating was more. Took our to go. This place just had their grand opening 7/22/23. It was very organized, line moved fairly quickly. They ran out of Korean dogs, but it was expected, being grand opening weekend. Donuts were really tasty, drinks were pretty good. They came in 16oz "sealed can" ..very unique, never seen that before from a mochi-nut place or a boba place (perfect touch ). Donuts were too oily and does not have the same consistency as the Bellevue location. Not sure if they're owned by the same people but I would recommend going to the Bellevue location instead. On top of this I saw the guy take some cheese off my Korean hot dog and eat it! There were also sketchy people and everyone looked unhappy and were mad about something.
