    Burnt garlic croissants
    Shey Y.

1 star for very poor customer service and burnt croissants. Their garlic croissants are my favorite and I get them all the time. This time around they tasted burnt, I know how they should taste as it's what I always get. After spending $60 I thought if I told them they'd have the courtesy to offer me to trade them. They said it's because of the garlic and they can't trade them. I left the croissants with them. Gross customer service. I'll support a local bakery next time, not worth it. Also, inflation must have hit them badly because quality of everything has went down lol.

What a beautiful assortment of pastries. What a fun way to select (most of) them--the Mexican bakery method: grab a tray and some tongs, and pick what you want (a method brought back to Asia by Asian immigrants to Mexico). And what a bright and inviting modern space. Looks great, but... the flavors are mostly lacking. Some items are decent, but most are bland and border on flavorless. If you want to eat just okay pastries (they do not taste bad) that won't really satisfy you but look pretty and are decent, then this is your place. I found the novelty enough for one visit, but nothing here calls me back.

Great food! Service was speedy. A bunch of people come in waves but it doesn't feel too crammed and everyone gets out fast- especially for a Saturday morning. Plenty of seating. It's like 85 bakery where you self serve pick whatever pastries you want The assortment is really great and I love that there are plenty of savory options. If you get the app your first pastry is free

I think this Paris Baguette has improved since opening. There are certain items here that I enjoy and would return for such as: 1. Matcha Latte - I am addicted! It's probably not the best matcha drink in town but I do love it a lot. I get it with whole milk and extra foam and it's just delectable! (and yes, sinful, I know) 2. Chocolate Supreme Croissant - among the sweet pastries, this is our favorite. 3. Pepperoni Pizzetta - I like this a lot! I heat it in the air fryer and it becomes somewhat crispy. 4. Coffee Bun - love the texture and the coffee flavor is just right. 5. Croissant Donuts - these are good too. 6. Baguette - we usually grab one when we're here and we have no complaints.

Love me a stop here for dessert. Came for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake. My wife and I got several different slices of cake. I can't remember what the other slices were as I only remember how amazing the red velvet cake was. The cake was still moist, as it was the end of the day, close to closing. The frosting was light and whipped, and not too heavy. This easily is one of my top red velvet cake slices I've had. Oh, and the pistachio sweet cream cold brew was delicious as well.

    Tiramisu Cake

We ordered a tiramisu cake for my mom's 78th birthday this week. She loves tiramisu, so this was a good find. I placed the order online and it was ready at the time that we specified for pick up. Everything inside the bakery looks wonderful and I'm excited to go back and try other things. We thought the tiramisu cake was very high-quality and delicious, but there was one problem: Despite being "soaked in espresso", there was no detectable coffee flavor whatsoever. It was a little strange. None of us could taste it, and if you know tiramisu, you know that is the very essence of the dessert. So, while I would recommend this bakery for the quality, I would caution you to ask around from others who have tried certain things before going for it, especially if you have a certain flavor in mind.

    Strawberry Croissant, $5.99 - 4 Stars

I knew about Paris Baguette from the Bay Area, so we were NOT one of the people standing in line outside. In late Dec, I was happy to see no lines, so we went for the first time. Selections were reasonable at 4:30 on a weekend. Self-service to grab all the items, and pay at the counter where they pack. Fairly standard practice nowadays. The interior is café-cute with several tables to dine-in. The Food: Strawberry Croissant, $5.99 - 4 Stars Fresh, delicious, spendy. Might buy again. Strawberry Peanut Crumb Bread, $5.29 - 4 Stars The custard kicks it up a notch. Will buy again. Sesame Tapioca Bread, $2.29 - 1 Star Full disclosure: Ate the next morning. Hard as a rock. Never again. Coffee Bun, $4.29 - 3.5 Stars Legit and flavorful. Will buy again. Crab Meat Croquette, $4.69 - 3.5 Stars Greasy croquette, even after a light re-bake and wrapping in fresh napkin. Likely will still buy again. Curry Croquette, $4.69 - 3.5 Stars Curry version is greasier than the crab meat version. Will not buy again. Strawberry Mochi Donut, $4.49 - 3.5 Stars Surprisingly respectable mochi donut. Not as good as Mochinut but acceptable. Will buy again if choices are slim. The food averages to 3.3 stars. Rounding down.

Busy for a reason! Full cases with lots to choose from for both the savory and the sweet tooth. From mochi donuts to croissant delectables of all sorts. Of course there's coffee and tea, hot and cold as the perfect compliment to your baked treat. Lunch and to go item available in a cooler, including prepackaged macaroons, and roll cakes. Prices are a tad high to make this a frequented spot, but the flavors in everything was divine!

Soooo yum. We went there on a Tuesday afternoon and they were pretty stocked still with many treats. As soon as you walk in, the decor is so cute and you're greeted by Paris themed chairs and tables. The service is nice as they are always making sure the cases are presentable and cafe is clean. The price is kind of steep but they are too cute. The strawberry cream supreme croissant was so good and filling. The mochi donut was tasteful, kind of soggy but I get it, I went in the afternoon. I bet it's so good fresh. I tried their blueberry matcha and how refreshing and flavorful.

Popped infirst thing on a Saturday morning and we were pleasantly surprised! FULL on Korean style bakery with light pastries and treats. The cafe seating area simple and clean, and the instructions on retrieving your pastries are very CLEAR. The register staff were very friendly and offered suggestions for coffee pairings but we went with our personal favorites. So much better than 85c, which I tend to find too heavy! We'll forbsure be back, especially for the mini cheesecakes and fruit tarts!

    Butter Pecan King Cream Donut

I remember my first visit to Paris Baguette when I lived in LA. Back then, this chain didn't have many locations in the US and I was instantly hooked when I tried out their garlic baguette. Unfortunately the baguette disappeared a couple of months afterwards, never to make a return, but I started visiting Paris Baguette as part of my regular sweets rotation. After moving to the Midwest however, I learned that the quality of a Paris Baguette really depends on location. Every store I visited in Michigan and Illinois seemed only to churn out sad pastries, barely worthy of the brand. With that in mind, I visited the Paris Baguette in Lynnwood with a bit of apprehensiveness. Butter Pecan King Cream Donut ($5.29) - At first I was worried that the butter pecan topping would be too sickly sweet for my tastes, but surprisingly, the sweetness isn't overpowering at all. The donut is filled with a soft cream mixed with finely crushed pecans. It's very light and fluffy. The donut itself is a bit denser than a good yeast donut, but still compresses well without a trace of dryness or toughness. The topping creates a shell over the donut. It's mixed in with plenty of more coarsely crushed pecans and has a good pecan flavor. I'm not sure if either the topping or filling are 100% butter (or if any butter is used at all!) but they are both sweet, nutty, and toasty. Good flavor. (4/5) King Cream Football Donut ($5.29) - This is the same denser donut base with a bit of vanilla cream inside. The cream isn't centered very well - starting from the first side, I didn't actually reach the cream pocket until half the pastry was gone. The chocolate ganache topping softly crumbles as the pastry is eaten. Again, everything is not too sweet, which is nice. The cream filling is very soft and airy, not quite as dense or rich as pastry cream, with a whisper of sweetness; the chocolate on the outside is sweeter than the filling on the inside. (4/5) Overall I left pretty satisfied with the pastries I bought. This Paris Baguette location seems to be one of the better ones. I'm not sure I would make it part of my regular bakery rotation given the multitude of great mom and pop bakeries around Seattle, but I wouldn't mind visiting again when I'm in the area. First time checking out a PB, our location opened within the past year and finally got around to getting in after all the hype died down. They have cakes, breakfast sandwiches, coffee and other items, my review is just on my items purchased today. Tested out 3 pastries and a donut. The donut was a sugar coated twist and was very chewy which was strange, it tasted good but had an odd "pull" to each bite. 2nd was a pecan tart which was OK, felt a bit dry and could have used a little more filling. 3rd was my favorite which was the chocolate supreme croissant, filled with chocolate custard cream and half dipped in chocolate, my only wish was to have the filling more evenly distributed, it was only present on half. Last but not least was the apple turnover, tasted OK but nothing special, also seemed to be lacking filling. It's a franchise and I had never heard of it until it opened. It was OK overall, if I could give .5 stars I would give 3.5. Honestly though, I definitely believe there are much much better local small businesses that make exceptional pastries in our area. I also felt it's a bit expensive for what you get, the donut was almost $4. There are some phenomenal donut places around that for $1.25 will blow your mind. I'll likely return to check out a breakfast sandwich and see how that goes.

Love all the variety of pastries; hard to not overdo it. My favorite is the Mini Garlic Croissants, but they can be a hit or miss. I first had them in southern California, and they were so delicious, we couldn't stop eating them. So, I was excited to get some more here, but they weren't as good as the first time; they weren't as garlicky. The second time I got it here was better. But then the third time I've got the Mini Garlic Croissants here, they were dry and stale. Hopefully the next time will be good again. All the other pastries I have tried have also been tasty.

Pro tip: make sure to show up in the morning for better selection for both sweet and savory items. Their pastries are baked fresh onsite, but I've made the mistake of showing up midday and towards closing and their pastry case would be slim pickings. They also have a great variety of beverages available too. Espresso, teas, and milk teas as examples. The mocha has improved, very coffee forward and not cloyingly sweet. Just needs to be hotter temp wise, but that's just me. My favorite go tos has been variable depending on availability, but recent visits have been their ham and cheese croissants. I greatly appreciate the offer to have it warmed up if dining onsite. It's just a strange pairing to place such tasty pastries on a paper plate and then provided flatware, knife & fork or just a fork. I appreciate that this indie bakeshop & cafe has been going strong and steady since 2016, so coming up on a decade! Flying under the radar, but iykyk this is a popular destination. I'm not sure if it's because something changed on the side of the bakery (maybe recipe or personnel changes?) or on my side, having tried more bakeries around the area. On our last visit we bought two loaves of bread to accompany a butter tasting. Both loaves I found to be not nearly as high quality as I remember previously. Pane Bello ($9) - The crust basically doesn't exist in this bread. It's soft and leathery and doesn't give that satisfying crispness of a well baked bread. The interior, while having good crumb structure, is particularly dry and almost crumbly. The taste is mild, perfect for pairing with higher end butters. (3/5) Parmesan Black Pepper Sourdough ($9) - This batard has similar texture as compared to the Pane Bello. It has the addition of plenty of black pepper baked inside, spaced out rather evenly, allowing a peppery bite every time. There's salty and fatty parmesan baked on top, giving a caramelized salty umami. It definitely has more flavor than the Pane Bello, but suffers from the same textural issues. (3/5) We purchased both loaves at 10AM on a Sunday morning and they were consumed within 2.5 hours, so I don't think it's an issue with storage. I ate a bit of their regular foccacia at a work event too. It has a good crispy exterior and is salted well on the top. Unfortunately the interior isn't the best, having a really dense, chewy crumb. I'm honestly not sure what happened. I really loved The Cottage when I first moved here 1.5 years ago. Now? I have a number of bakeries I'd choose over here in a heartbeat.

They have pretty typical Korean bakery fare and pricing seems to be just a bit higher than competitors, probably somewhere around a 10% premium compared to similar family owned bakeries. On my visit I got two pastries to try: Soboro Cream ($3.49) - Instead of a delicately crackly cookie crust, this bun has a much softer, almost moist topping, which may be due to them placing the bread in the packaging before being fully cooled off, allowing the bun to steam too much. There's a bunch of sweetened stabilized cream inside that's sweet and oily. The bread itself is kind of dry and crumbly, either not a typical milk bread recipe or perhaps it had been sitting on the shelf for too long. (2/5) Corn Mochi ($5.99) - This comes with six pieces. The corn mochi has a nice chewy tapioca flour base. There's black sesame sprinkled throughout giving a burst of nutty flavor. I expected to see whole corn kernels baked inside but I think they just use corn flour in the dough. It's way less sweet than the soboro. Texturewise, the inside is bouncy while the outside has a harder baked crust. (4/5) Overall Le Bon Patisserie is a pretty average Asian grocery store-paired bakery. It's more of a place to buy bread for convenience rather than anything special, but it does the job decently well.

Far and away the worst asian bakery I've recalled having the displeasure of purchasing from. And…read moreyet I accidentally go back periodically because it's right inside the H Mart complex and because I have the memory span of a goldfish. I am always intensely disappointed with myself for not remembering how much it sucks, especially with 85 Degrees bakery just down the block. My latest foray led me to two loaves of milk bread for $11!!!! WTF? First of all, the two loaves look absolutely different... one is a square, and the other one is more like the milk bread shape. The lady behind the counter assured me they are the same. Spoiler alert: they are not, but they are equally awful. For those of you who knows REAL Japanese milk bread, it is like magic. I f***in' love milk bread... and while I don't use drugs, I imagine the euphoria I feel when I bite into milk bread is similar to a drug high. La Bon's milk bread is literally the worst white bread I have EVER tasted. It's worst than any grocery store brand and tastes like paper mache, wait, no.... I ate paper mache as a kid and this is far far worse. The pure and utter sadness I feel every time I put a piece of that shitty white cardboard into my mouth is worthy of a country western song. And everything else from that place tastes like cardboard. DO NOT GO. Or if you do, just be forewarned.... godspeed.

I have to admit I was a bit surprised to see how crowded 85°C was when I stepped in. The shop was…read morefilled with folks in line to pay for their selected buns and pastries and folks off to one side waiting for the drinks they ordered. The staff was hustling the best they could. I had ordered two cakes online and only needed to pick up. The peculiar thing is neither the provided phone number nor the email received confirmation of the purchase. I should have saved a screenshot, but for once, I trusted the system but the system failed. Anyway, I was hoping for the best when I entered, since we did have a credit card charge notification. Anyway, two staff members are at the front, though only one was working the register ringing up pastries and taking orders for drinks, etc. After standing in line for a second, I decided to be bold, left the line, and approached the other staff member saying I am picking up a cake order. She asked for order number. Yikes, I do not have that. After some back and forward and I asked if she can look up by my name, she said no. When I repeated two cakes and told her what they were, she said, "Did you say two cakes?" I almost wanted to laugh, since I have said it about ten times by then. My order must have been the only one with two cakes because she suddenly found it and even asked me to verify my name. Magical, they do have my name after all. I decided not to ding the rating since their search is locked to order number. I suspect she scrolled through screens to find the order. Although picking up the cakes were borderline sweat-inducing, both cakes turned out to be winners for the party of eleven people. Statistically, nine out of eleven are classic Americans who have never had Taiwanese cakes or lower sweetness cakes. I was pleased these cakes proved to be a hit for those unfamiliar with this baseline. Everyone sampled a small portion of both cakes, and we had about a combined 2/3 cakes left. I estimate an 8" cake is 8 servings. These cakes are relatively lower cost than many other Asian and non-Asian bakeries in the area. 8" Red Velvet, $38 Menu: Traditional red velvet cake layered with vanilla cream cheese 8" Deluxe Chocolate Mousse, $40 Menu: Chocolate chiffon cake layered with chocolate mousse and dusted with sweet snow sugar and cocoa powder Side note: These cakes are top decorated, meaning if you want "Happy Birthday", it is a separate piece to add to the cake.

I've seen a few yelp reviews say this place is a little ummmm pretentious or overhyped, well yes they don't do customizations and they really don't want you on your phones when you order but honestly, their drinks are just worth it I always order their Wiener Schokolade in the smallest size and that's only because I do like the strong taste of the coffee when its smaller and don't want to over indulge (it does get sweeter when you order the larger sizes, and remember what I said about no customization) We also had a croissant, it was fine as an accompaniment but nothing amazing.
