Located on the lower level of Redmond Town Center, Creperie de Paris is a minority owned creperie…read moreoffering savory crepes, sweet crepes, and even baklava (these actually look good). The interior is small, though they have additional seating outside. Many diners got to-go orders, which is surprising since crepes get soggy easily. Anyway, service was fine. The guy tried to be courteous but failed; I won't go into details. Prices are a touch higher than the nearby place; they include a salad to differentiate for the savory crepes. I wish creperies differentiate how they make the base crepe depending on savory vs. sweet. Savory ones benefit from more oil to enhance the seared flavor, while sweet ones don't. Their base crepe is good, not great. The Food: Merguez, $20 - 2.5 Stars This crepe has spicy Moroccan lamb sausage with onions, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and peppers. The overall size is modest. Hubby orders lamb often but was disappointed with these lamb sausages. He said they mostly taste like little smokies. Not a complimentary description. Norvegienne, $21 - 3.5 Stars This crepe has smoked salmon, spinach, capers, red onion, and crème fraiche. The salmon didn't taste as smoked as I would like. They are similar to the plain lox variety that might be on a bagel, which is not as flavorful. On the plus side, I thought this is a well-stuffed crepe. The included salad for both is a mixed greens with tomatoes, feta, parmesan, olives, tomatoes, and range dressing. I wish restaurants spill out their ingredients on menus. I don't like cold cheese; I could have saved them some money and tell them to skip it on mine.

This is a nice spot where you can find all varieties of crepes, including both savory and sweet…read moreoptions. I came by around 4 PM on a Monday and found the space quiet with few customers, which was perfect for getting a bit of work done since they also offer free Wi-Fi. The staff was friendly and efficient in preparing and serving my food. I really enjoyed my breakfast egg, cheddar, and sausage crepe. Note that they automatically charge a 10% service fee. Parking was easy, with both a parking lot and garage available around the plaza.

They do their job wonderfully, quickly, and with a smile. Always look forward to a crêpe here, whether it's breakfast, a savory lunch or dinner, or a dessert ferry snack. They're delicious, the batter is perfectly thin and crispy, and they put a lot of ingredients in!

ACTUALLY, here at J'aime Les Crêpes, the crêpes themselves seem fine. It's that they load them with WAY too much goo. Gooey goo goo. Mountains of gooey sweetness. They have a captive audience of hungry, bored ferry passengers just awaiting transport, and perhaps these people are goo lovers one and all, besides me. I mean my worst, number one hated food is fudge, so if you love fudge then perhaps do not heed my opinion and get a sweet, sloppy, goolicious crêpe. Like I said, I have friends who will, in passing by, eat these crêpes and enjoy the experience. The shop IS cute, and the service seems fine. The walk-up window is fun and convenient. The price is typical for eating out, which is to say, pretty damned expensive, but that is not J'aime Les Crêpes fault in the slightest. And yes, in general, j'aime les crêpes also, but for me, please hold the ginormous mountains of sticky thicky goo.

Apparently, it is possible, thanks to Boba Bothell. We stayed at a hotel just right behind where Boba is situated. My daughter had a craving for boba, so I dropped her and the wife off while I get back to our hotel. When they got back, I asked my daughter what was the name of the place. "Boba" Abigail answered. "Yeah, what's the name?", I replied? "Boba! With two dots!!". Hmm okay, so plain. I asked her for a sip... WTH? What is this?! It so good! It was their Brown Sugar with creme brulé. The brown sugar, oh so yummy, perfectly harmonious with their creme brulé. The brulé was not heavy and overpowering and perfectly matches the drink. I had to get my own drink. We came back the next day and I ordered myself with the aforementioned drink. Wow, just so refreshing. The interior is nicely decorated, and I love that fact that Boba is uniquely independent and uniquely Bothell. Local residents, you have yourselves and excellent boba place by the way of Boba Bothell.
