There is french bakery in this area. They dont have new things to try. I wish they had more social media presence with updated hours or whats in season etc. I love their tart and pastries.

The pastries, cakes, eclairs, and desserts are all so delicious. They're beautifully designed and you can tell a lot of effort and thought went into the creation of their baked items. Lots of good options so you can try something new each time. Coffee is good too and it's peaceful near the garden in the back to sit. Staff are always very friendly.

Since I was in the area I decided to check this place out as it looks delicious. It is located in a small complex and I think the entrance is a little confusing. It's a small door and you probably Miss it because you are distracted from looking at their kitchen and try to open the employee only door instead :) They have 2 displays, one with cakes and desserts and the other are various croissants. I got the chocolate croissant and a snow white cake. Both were pretty good. I do wish the croissant was flakier though. Pricing was decent as well. Definitely would come back to try their other stuff in the future. Oh the paying system is a bit weird too. It took many attempts for me to be able to pay successfully. The staff are nice though

I needed fresh croissants and didn't have time to travel south to Seattle, thanks to Yelp I located L'Artisan Pastry a hidden little gem tucked away in Silver Lake. Customer service was excellent, everyone behind the counter were all very kind. The shop was extremely clean, and quiet. Our croissants were fresh, flaky, and delicate (perfect.) I also ordered a pastry and one chocolate eclair which were split between my family both were really tasty and not overly sweetened. I will definitely return, and highly recommend!

We came for a small dessert and a cake for my dad's birthday. We were wavering between an almond pear tart & the Brazilian mocha cake. When the cashier shared what was in the cake, we were sold! Almond meringue bottom, coffee custard, chocolate cake, all covered in coffee butter cream. It was delicious, and my dad enjoyed the cake. Also, the staff was very friendly and patient as we were trying to decide. We're excited to come back and try other pastries another time!

Best and most delicious pastries and treats I've ever had in the states Staff are always really friendly and nice. I love this place and come here almost every month!

    Napoleon

A selection of 6 pastries was brought to our luncheon (there were 4 of us) - and they were without a doubt the BEST we have ever had. I had the Napoleon and was also graced with the other 2 pastries out of the 6 to take home (which I shared with my spouse the next day). I live in Lacey WA and would gladly drive to Everett to once again to enjoy these delectable pastries.

I felt life was lacking Parisian carbs so decided to try this little treasure. Conveniently located in Everett so I didn't have to fight Seattle traffic, this little spot has friendly staff and delicious bakery products. The cakes and tarts were beautiful and I will definitely be stopping by to get some for our next celebration. The chocolate croissants reminded me of my time in Paris eating them in the shops below the Louvre. Purchased some almond croissants to eat at home later. Unfortunately they do not have indoor seating at this time because of COVID but don't let that keep you from discovering this gem for yourself

Soooooo.. I went here last went and my mother in-law and wife got the apple croissant and some berry mousse and I was like damn I needa go here. So I went yesterday and tbh kinda underwhelming. Walked in no one greeted me I actually had to say good morning to everyone and there were about 4 people there. The bakery was very plain looking almost like just four walls and there's a bakery in there. I got the apple croissant and the raisin croissant I also got the fruit tart and chocolate pear. The apple croissant a was flaky and had good taste of apple but not overly sweet. The rain croissant was the same but had a cream filling it seems like pretty solid. The fruit was pretty decent. The base was most pie crust delicious tart not too sweet the fruit I personally believe that it was stacked too high. The chocolate pear I'm not the biggest fan of chop it was probably the best thing I ate and honestly they should just get rid of the pear didn't add and flavor or substance. A brownie like pie I would say it was a thick boy. Very sweet. The reason I say it underwhelming is because although the food was good, it wasn't as good as I had the week before. It seems they are very inconsistent. 5.2/10

They have pretty typical Korean bakery fare and pricing seems to be just a bit higher than competitors, probably somewhere around a 10% premium compared to similar family owned bakeries. On my visit I got two pastries to try: Soboro Cream ($3.49) - Instead of a delicately crackly cookie crust, this bun has a much softer, almost moist topping, which may be due to them placing the bread in the packaging before being fully cooled off, allowing the bun to steam too much. There's a bunch of sweetened stabilized cream inside that's sweet and oily. The bread itself is kind of dry and crumbly, either not a typical milk bread recipe or perhaps it had been sitting on the shelf for too long. (2/5) Corn Mochi ($5.99) - This comes with six pieces. The corn mochi has a nice chewy tapioca flour base. There's black sesame sprinkled throughout giving a burst of nutty flavor. I expected to see whole corn kernels baked inside but I think they just use corn flour in the dough. It's way less sweet than the soboro. Texturewise, the inside is bouncy while the outside has a harder baked crust. (4/5) Overall Le Bon Patisserie is a pretty average Asian grocery store-paired bakery. It's more of a place to buy bread for convenience rather than anything special, but it does the job decently well.

I am always intensely disappointed with myself for not remembering how much it sucks, especially with 85 Degrees bakery just down the block. My latest foray led me to two loaves of milk bread for $11!!!! WTF? First of all, the two loaves look absolutely different... one is a square, and the other one is more like the milk bread shape. The lady behind the counter assured me they are the same. Spoiler alert: they are not, but they are equally awful. For those of you who knows REAL Japanese milk bread, it is like magic. I f***in' love milk bread... and while I don't use drugs, I imagine the euphoria I feel when I bite into milk bread is similar to a drug high. La Bon's milk bread is literally the worst white bread I have EVER tasted. It's worst than any grocery store brand and tastes like paper mache, wait, no.... I ate paper mache as a kid and this is far far worse. The pure and utter sadness I feel every time I put a piece of that shitty white cardboard into my mouth is worthy of a country western song. And everything else from that place tastes like cardboard. DO NOT GO. Or if you do, just be forewarned.... godspeed.

I had ordered two cakes online and only needed to pick up. The peculiar thing is neither the provided phone number nor the email received confirmation of the purchase. I should have saved a screenshot, but for once, I trusted the system but the system failed. Anyway, I was hoping for the best when I entered, since we did have a credit card charge notification. Anyway, two staff members are at the front, though only one was working the register ringing up pastries and taking orders for drinks, etc. After standing in line for a second, I decided to be bold, left the line, and approached the other staff member saying I am picking up a cake order. She asked for order number. Yikes, I do not have that. After some back and forward and I asked if she can look up by my name, she said no. When I repeated two cakes and told her what they were, she said, "Did you say two cakes?" I almost wanted to laugh, since I have said it about ten times by then. My order must have been the only one with two cakes because she suddenly found it and even asked me to verify my name. Magical, they do have my name after all. I decided not to ding the rating since their search is locked to order number. I suspect she scrolled through screens to find the order. Although picking up the cakes were borderline sweat-inducing, both cakes turned out to be winners for the party of eleven people. Statistically, nine out of eleven are classic Americans who have never had Taiwanese cakes or lower sweetness cakes. I was pleased these cakes proved to be a hit for those unfamiliar with this baseline. Everyone sampled a small portion of both cakes, and we had about a combined 2/3 cakes left. I estimate an 8" cake is 8 servings. These cakes are relatively lower cost than many other Asian and non-Asian bakeries in the area. 8" Red Velvet, $38 Menu: Traditional red velvet cake layered with vanilla cream cheese 8" Deluxe Chocolate Mousse, $40 Menu: Chocolate chiffon cake layered with chocolate mousse and dusted with sweet snow sugar and cocoa powder Side note: These cakes are top decorated, meaning if you want "Happy Birthday", it is a separate piece to add to the cake.

In short It's a quiet little hole in the wall. Okay, right?…read moreIt's also an influencer-driven phenomenon like Everett sees only rarely, if ever. Incredible lineup of breads and pastries in the Kurdish tradition. In long I must've driven by this place 50 times at the very least over the last few years. I never had the slightest idea what was happening back here. Cookies, Mexican, Central American, Filipino, taking my lovely bride to get her nails done, I've been in this parking lot at least monthly since they opened. It took influencer reels to finally get me in. Yeah, I'm dumb. It's the farthest-back corner in a sprawling strip mall, mixed in with at least a dozen other sprawling strip malls on a 6-lane road by the big mall. Lots of chain businesses. You can't assume that every place through here oozes character, but this one does. Inside, it's a couple chairs, a couple pastry cases, a little shelving, and hundreds of square feet of kitchen behind that. Multiple big ovens. Maybe half a dozen folks working away. Super friendly happy vibe, though I personally don't speak the language. Saturday afternoon I came in after a reel blew up online. Turns out they had a line out the door earlier that day. Gorgeous sunny weekend, everybody with free time came in. There were like 6 cookies left. In the whole place. Bakers were doing nothing but cleaning by that point. After I saw the video of dozens of people in line (on their Insta), I scrolled down a bit and saw that dude's baking videos with his kid get up to and beyond a million likes. For a little bakery. In Everett WA. Forgive me for not knowing this was even possible. Anyway, those cookies. Brownie cookies with a dollop of cream frosting in the middle. So damn good. A little crisp outside, soft and chewy inside. This isn't even something they list on their website and it's one of the better cookies I've had. Evidently they just throw it in the case as a special when the spirit moves 'em. This morning I thought I solved the puzzle. Went in right after they opened. On a school day. Nope. They had pita, croissants, and 3 pieces of baklava. I got some of each, including all the baklava. Expecting it all to rock at least as hard as those cookies. I had my eye on 3 or 4 other things from their website, but dude said they got crushed on a MONDAY MORNING and sold out of a bunch of stuff. Okay. Challenge accepted. I gotta keep coming back with my fingers crossed, I guess. lol
