I have never been more impressed with a mechanic in 35 years of driving. If I could give 10 stars I would. They were by far the most reasonably priced and repaired both front brakes and changed my oil for less than half of what other shops had quoted me for just one side. The customer service was absolutely superb. They even had a little lanai area outside where I waited and actually got to watch the most professional, friendly, and diligent mechanics work on several car including my own. The shop was super clean and even the way the shop was set up was very efficient in getting cars in and out quickly. I will never take my car anywhere else. All I can say is.. VICTOR is the man! Called on dec 26 to see if they were open. No one answered but I get a text from Victor. He said he could take the car in even if they were closed. Instead I just told him I'll come over the next day. When I I was there, he was super friendly and was will to analyze the problem of my car for free. He even fixed it right there in front me. Victor is the BEST!! I'm 50 years old and have had many mechanic experiences and Victor is the best. It's too bad I don't live on the island. Let me explain. My daughter lives there and wanted to take her old 4Runner with her. That thing has been beat up but gas always run fine. But for some reason it started acting up on her. Took it twice to the Toyota dealer in Honolulu. Both times I felt like I was being taken advantage of but I wasn't there and needed her car to work. This time I finally got referred to Victor. Super busy in a Friday but he fits her in. He runs the codes and sends to me. We both think it's an ignition issue. So he checks the wires and plugs. The wires were the original (20 years old) and plugs not sure but probably at least 10 years old, found and down to the nub!! Sends me the estimate. Does the work. Works perfectly. Paid and done and daughter has a working car back the same day!! I don't leave reviews much but it's tough to find a great mechanic and Victor is just that. Took my car in last week because the check engine light went on. Victor, the owner of the shop, gave me a quick estimate and did a free diagnostics check. Car was fixed up in about 3 hours, but I had some extra minor problems and figured I might as well do it while I was already at the shop. Total time it took to get everything fixed was about 5 hours. I live close by and went home during this time, Victor was nice enough to offer to pick me up and take me back to the shop when everything was finished. Customer service is spot on here and Victor was really cool about making sure I was knowledgeable about everything that was being done to my car and not just up-selling all the little "problems" that come up with other auto repair places. The labor was fairly priced and if you schedule an appointment they make sure to get the job done quick. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. All I can say is, look for Victor. He is truly an honest mechanic and understands the struggles of having a car that goes to crap. Came down to investigate a squeaky noise from my car that gradually became violent over time. Prior to, I went to another shop and they told me "Everything is fine, go get your axle shaft. Come back tomorrow and we'll fix it and the sound will be gone" But this is my only day off this week, and I needed my car tomorrow. I saw Victor in his office, told him the news, gave him the keys. His staff were friendly and busy youngsters, very focused, and Vic was a friendly and informative mechanic. He identified problems that were going on, and told me it was a totally different problem than the last mechanic who told me what was up. He even went ahead and texted me pictures of proof AS HE WORKED ON MY CAR that it was the wheel bearing (how could I have been so stupid). That's honesty right there. Even told me the axle assembly I brought it wasn't even necessary to install, but it was already so I might as well roll with it, boots were torn. He gave me a very fair deal on the labor and the parts. And within the working day, my car was given to me by early evening back and running. I am very happy as to even after the purchase he showed me the bad parts and educated me in how the sound was emitting from my car. He even offered to jump for himself to be in the passenger seat as I rode around the block before I took the car home! THAT WAS AMAZING SERVICE. Our 4runner had a loud sound coming from the front end, it sounded like it was "growling" and there was a deep vibration in the steering wheel. I suspected it was the front wheel bearings, so I took it to the closest shop to get checked out and they confirmed my suspicion. I decided to take it to Mobotech for a second opinion and Victar gave me a quote via text message, which was very convenient. Turns out they were the best price out of the 6 shops I called. When we showed up at the shop, Victar immediately offered to take it for a test drive and he was able to diagnose the problem. His crew later confirmed the bearings needed to be replaced and he even sent video footage to show the problem and kept me updated. They finished the job in one day and our 4runner is driving much quieter and smoother with no growling sound at all and no vibration. Damn TPMS!!! Car would still work with the TPMS light on but I'd prefer for everything to be perfect. Looked around on Yelp for shops that work on Range Rovers and Mobotech kept coming up. The Land Rover dealer came up as well but you know and I know that if you can avoid the Stealership, it will save you some of your hard earned cash. Texted Victor and he responded saying he does work on RRs and to bring it in. Perfect. I brought the RRS in and he diagnosed the problem. Came up with a solution that I was comfortable with as well as my bank account was comfortable with. He checked all the sensors and replaced only the ones that needed to be replaced. He showed me what the diagnostics came up with. Shows some honesty and integrity if you ask me. He worked late into the night and had it ready for me the next day. Awesome customer service. After going through the reviews and experiencing their service firsthand, I have to say that I 100% agree with what was said and I am very grateful that we stumbled across Mobotech. Recently, my car's causing me so many problems - the radiator broke, then the head gasket, then we needed to replace a few injector coils, etc. The problems just kept coming and coming, and we were even considering donating the car for parts because it was in such bad shape. My truck's fuel pump died on Thursday June 5 2020 just after 7p.m. I searched the web and luckily found Mobotech. I called, and the voice message said to leave a text message as the staff may have been busy at the time. I sent a text, and within minutes I received a call back from the owner. He requested a tow company he used that was reliable and cheap. After arriving at the shop, I explained to Victor, the owner, all the repairs I had made to my truck; including the fuel pump. He quoted me for parts and labor; asked one of his team to drive me home. The next morning he texted and confirmed that it was the fuel pump that died. He asked whether I wanted okay parts or better quality parts. Chosing the better parts, I'm sure, is the recommendation of every good mechanic. Anyway, at the end of my work day 5:30p.m., Victor called to say that they were done. I had also asked him if he could check out a starter bolt that I had possibly stripped. Victor secured the bolt for me and a few cosmetic issues for me at no additional charge. His price for the fuel pump, fuel filter, and labor was so reasonable I was shocked. He and his staff were quick and professional. They took the time out of their schedule to get my truck back to me quick, and they didn't charge me a ton for labor. Victor's professionalism and concern for the customer is the reason I will take my truck to him if there's something I'm not able to fix, for whatever reason. I would also recommend him to anyone. 4:00 Thursday afternoon car would not start. In a public parking lot and would not have been able to leave car there overnight. Without appointment late in day Victor let me have my car towed there. I checked out Mobotech because of the solid reviews. When I stopped by with my Mini Cooper to schedule an appointment, Vic proceeded to go over my engine to make sure everything was okay. We found out that my car was extremely low on oil. I guess Mini's tend to burn oil over time. Vic was kind enough to top off my engine with almost 2 quarts of oil for free before I headed home! He wanted to make sure I didn't cause any potential damage to my engine before I dropped off the car for an oil change. When I dropped the car off the following week, Vic was able to complete the oil change and a safety inspection. He ran diagnostics on the car, sent me a photo of the diagnostics, and followed up with details throughout the day, letting me know if there were any faults with the car.
