Addendum: Sort by 1Star ratings. Most had a similar experience which is: when they make a mistake they don't own up to it. Read below for my experience. Avoid. Booked an appointment through Apple to get my screen repaired here. Big mistake! Per Apple's policy, they must run diagnostics on your phone before repair. They did that and everything was fine, but when I picked it up, I had an error message regarding my camera. My camera worked fine before I brought it there. So, even though they were only supposed to replace my screen, they clearly did something for me to receive that message, but they denied culpability and stated only they could put the broken screen on and give a refund. That wouldn't fix my new problem they created, however. So, I took it to an Apple store and they said clearly and without a doubt that Mobile Kangaroo had created the issue, and they were adamant about the diagnostic records backing that up. No doubt they said (a service member, their supervisor, and a high level Apple care member on the phone I spoke to all said the same thing). Naturally, I called Mobile Kangaroo back and told them what Apple told me, but they again denied any responsibility and left me hanging for the $350 screen replacement charge and my new camera issue they created. The conversation I had with them was insane and it just started and ended with "there is no way we could be responsible for that", but again, Apple said it was 100% on them, no doubts. Do yourself a favor and take your products to the Apple store instead of these "authorized dealers" that Apple doesn't back in any way for warranty. I was told they just have an aggreement to use Apple parts, so I have no recourse with Apple either. read more

My wife had an appointment today 09/22/24 at 8:20am, we usually sleep in on sundays but we woke up early to be for an appointment that was scheduled and the sign on the door clearly states they open at 8:30am. Now why would they have scheduled times before their actual store hours is ridiculous and bad business. It would be fair to customers to have updated hours if no one is going to be opening the store on time. Turns out the other vehicle next to us was the employee! I've been here a handful of times with various Macbooks (I spill a lot), and they've done great work each time. Specifically a big shoutout to Christian. He's the main person I deal with and he is wonderful. Great customer service, super helpful, communicates timelines and sets realistic expectations about what service and what price may need to be done after the device is checked out. There was a slight hiccup do to the keyboard replacememt they ordered getting lost in the mail, but that wasn't there fault and Christian figured it out with Apple and got a new one sent. I'm sad to have to report I had a terrible experience with Mobile Kangaroo. I'm not looking to seek revenge but please be aware before using their services... I feel completely ripped off by them. Not only did they take my money but they also did not repair my device and they even made it worse than what it was when I originally brought it in. My laptop's screen wasn't working and Apple sent me to MK to get it repaired. They first said they needed to order s new display. Days later they told me the issue was not the screen but the logic board. They ordered a new one, I got my laptop back and a day later the screen had another malfunction, again. I was told by MK i was going to get a refund for the ~$700 I spent in a repair that was not well done (and that took about 2 weeks!). Long story short, it's been 3 months and after countless of calls and messages they are now saying I won't get my refund. The several people I've spoken with are nice and friendly but their customer service is terrible. I feel ignored, stepped on, ripped off, and extremely frustrated for the waste of time, energy and money this situation has caused. If you can take your devices directly to Apple please do, or find another place. Do yourself a favor and do not work with MK. read more

Tl; dr: Would absolutely not recommend. My wife's iPhone screen cracked, could see half the screen, phone was still somewhat functional. Took the phone in for repair and then the phone died. They still made me pay for a "repair." Apple should remove this place as an "authorized retailer." Wouldn't trust Christian at all. Go to an Apple store! Review: My wife's iPhone screen was cracked after a drop. I looked at Apples website, which stated this was an authorized retailer/repair spot. Came in first thing in the morning, was greeted by Christian. To be clear, the screen was cracked, you could only see half the screen functional, and the phone was still functional (still receiving texts, calls, Apple Watch was receiving everything). Spoke to Christian who said it would be a screen repair, pretty standard stuff. Left the store, 1-2 hours later, got a text that the phone was ready. My wife went to pick up the phone. Apparently, once they "repaired" the screen which "passed the diagnostic tests" the phone wouldn't turn on. My wife, with a baby with her, had to wait 30-40 minutes, and then they said the phone wasn't ready. I get a call later from Christian saying that the phone wouldn't turn on. He then tried to reset it to factory settings, also unsuccessful. As the phone was now dead, the store offered to give me a new phone, but I still had to pay for the "repair." Mind you, Christian said that this was the "first time" this had happened to him while fixing the iPhone. At this point, as the phone was dead, my wife and I were livid. How could a simple screen repair turn into a dead phone? I request that they provide the new iPhone complimentary, as this was the "first time it happened" and they literally turned my phone into a dead phone! Christian laughs in my face, says it's not going to happen, and when I ask to speak to the manager, he scoffs and says he is the manager. I am even more livid. Terrible service, terrible customer service. I speak to my wife and we decide to cut our losses and just get the new phone. He promised it would come the next day, but of course came 2 days later. Their rental phone was an iPhone 5. All in all, terrible experience. Wouldn't ever recommend this place. Terrible service overall, and will never come back. Go to an Apple store! read more

one star is purely for the very nice gentleman that helped me... I would not recommend this place or ever go back here. I took my computer in to change the battery. I was charged a $60 diagnostic fee, almost immediately, dispite already knowning the battery was the issue. I was told to wait for five days & the parts would arrive... two weeks later nothing happened, the company was generally unresponsive & eventually I just drove back to pick up my laptop. I asked to be refunded the redundant unasked for diagnostic fee, which ofcourse did not happen. I essentially paid $65 to be inconvenienced for over two weeks without my laptop plus vague promises of a battery part coming in, that never arrived. read more
