We ordered the IMUA Mix Plate three choices: double poke (shoyu) and breaded teriyaki beef, Loco Moco, Chicken Katsu, & Kalua Poutine. Everything we tried was 'Ono (in Hawaiian means "delicious" or "tasty"). My wife and I were pleasantly surprised how good the breaded teriyaki beef tasted, highly recommended! All the kids liked a little bit of everything. Francesco (5) loved the Kalua Poutine and ate most of it. Kepha (6) ate a bit of everything and made sure there was no leftovers (mopped da plate clean). Lily (8) loved her loco moco and was told she had to share with here brothers, lol. Wife and I enjoyed the breaded teriyaki beef and the katsu. The Katsu sauce was just like the back home style/japanese style. I gotta admit looking at the poke I had my doubts, but after tasting it, "SHE GO" this poke would guarentee sellout back in Hawaii, the flavor of the poke is just like Hawaii but Imua's unique way. We also had 3 shave ice ube, mango, and blue vanilla, so far best shave ice I've tasted in the mainland. Imua's is authentic Local Style Hawaiian Food and the quality is undeniably top notch, this is the first restaurant in the mainland that I've been to where all of the food taste like back home (Hawai'i) and all the food taste good! There wasn't a dish where I was like only this one or these two taste good, noo, all the food tasted 'ONO, broke da mouth kine good food! If you missing the taste of the (Hawaiian) Island this is the place to go!

Well, look no further than Imua Hawaiian Style Restaurant located on charming Main Street in Lewiston, Idaho. Situated only 23 miles from Pullman, Washington, 22 miles from Moscow, Idaho, 88 miles from Spokane, Washington, and right across the river from Clarkston, Washington, this restaurant will satisfy your cravings ('ono) for delicious ('ono) local food! Excellent warm, welcoming service, too. If you need a fix of breaded teriyaki that is on par with what you find at a certain Kahului, Maui, drive-in, this is your place. High quality beef and other ingredients... Served on a bed of rice... Delicious Volcano fries graced with homemade furikake and a zesty aioli miso sauce... Yummy mac (macaroni) salad... and authentic Hawaiian style shave are all truly ʻono. Keto and gluten free options. Come one, come all to Lewiston, Idaho, to check out Imua Hawaiian Style Restaurant and enjoy this extremely talented Maui Boyʻs incredibly ʻono food. Mahalo

" yeah but it's a 25 minute wait" Tried to order loco loco. Again in a discouraging voice... " We don't have that today" I asked him off it was because that was didn't have any eggs. He replied that they didn't have eggs or gravy. Basically half the ingredients. Why even offer it? Got the food ... a really dried up single piece of thigh with no sauce on it. The noodles (which are super cheap to make) was about a 6 ounce portion with no veggies or meat. Not even cabbage which is cheap. The Mac salad was disgusting. Made with the cheapest macaroni noodles you can buy. They tasted like paste! Also not an authentic Hawaiian Mac salad. The noodles were in fact light other reviewers have mentioned... a SALT BOMB! The potato salad was good, but it was German style heavy on the mustard as opposed to Hawaiian style which should be heavy on mayo and have egg. The rice was really really good. The staff person seemed like he'd rather be anywhere but there. Zero for customer service.

On this visit, I ordered the Nabeyaki Udon, which is one of my favorite dishes. I quite enjoyed it. The broth was good, the noodle delicious, and the soup packed with veggies. I also ordered the edamame. I always order edamame when I can because I love it so much and never have it outside of restaurants. This particular edamame was good--a little lacking on spice for my particular taste but still hit the spot and filled my craving for edamame. Accessibility: This restaurant is generally accessible. The seating is a mix between booths and tables. The chairs do not have arms. There are a couple of accessible parking spots, but they are limited. The lighting is decent here and should be okay. Noise is not really an issue. I have never experienced crowds though I never go during the busiest times. I cannot remember if they have accessible washrooms. There are no stairs/steps to worry about.

Ordered spring roles and calamari tempura. The calamari looked processed, tasted a bit strange. I got a lunch sushi combo and I've never tasted sushi this terrible before. The spicy tuna roll just tasted spoiled, almost made me puke. Rosauers has better sushi. Our fried rice had hair in it, just the cherry on top. If you're thinking about going here, just don't, it's not worth your time or money.

I'm from California, so some things in Washington and Idaho are new to me. Like for instance, our server handing us water bottles instead of cups of water. Turns out I guess Moscow is known for having issues with water. Our miso soup had no additives. No tofu, or seaweed. Just broth. Our sushi chef also forgot one of my rolls, and forgot to give my aunt her yakisoba, so we had to ask for them. There was only one other table of 2 seated while we were dining, so I can't even blame a busy dining room as the reason why the staff was flustered. On the plus side, our server did bring my baby cousin a tiny serving of miso soup, so my aunt didn't "have" to share hers, and brought a spoon for the baby, so that was a nice touch. All in all, this tourist definitely will not be eating here again.
