It is very clean, the theme is complete and there is gorgeous live greenery EVERYWHERE! We got bacon burgers, the Kalua pork sandwich, lunch plate and moana chicken tenders. All were exceptional but we all agreed we would have all gotten the tenders had we known. They are not heavily breaded at all. The flavor and meat quality of all was awesome. The pork just melts. To get here, look for the Pi-Nee-Waus community center sign. Ignore the moana sign pointing around the corner. Go into the main doors of the community center and then to the right. The owners are so friendly, from Hawaii and know how to cook. We asked about the Mac salad and she gave us a huge sample. We all cleaned plates and would definitely go back.

This mom and pop place is just like Aunty and Uncles cooking back home! Super friendly people that make you feel right at home! They have burgers and fries and plate lunches! I have never seen anyone cook rice in the oven, but this place does! The Mac salad was spot on! We got their fried rice, kalua pig and Teri burger and fries. Onolicious! Will definitely hit this spot every time we are driving through! It's located right in the middle of the community center. If you have never tried it, take a chance and let your taste buds go wild!

We ordered the IMUA Mix Plate three choices: double poke (shoyu) and breaded teriyaki beef, Loco Moco, Chicken Katsu, & Kalua Poutine. Everything we tried was 'Ono (in Hawaiian means "delicious" or "tasty"). My wife and I were pleasantly surprised how good the breaded teriyaki beef tasted, highly recommended! All the kids liked a little bit of everything. Francesco (5) loved the Kalua Poutine and ate most of it. Kepha (6) ate a bit of everything and made sure there was no leftovers (mopped da plate clean). Lily (8) loved her loco moco and was told she had to share with here brothers, lol. Wife and I enjoyed the breaded teriyaki beef and the katsu. The Katsu sauce was just like the back home style/japanese style. I gotta admit looking at the poke I had my doubts, but after tasting it, "SHE GO" this poke would guarentee sellout back in Hawaii, the flavor of the poke is just like Hawaii but Imua's unique way. We also had 3 shave ice ube, mango, and blue vanilla, so far best shave ice I've tasted in the mainland. Imua's is authentic Local Style Hawaiian Food and the quality is undeniably top notch, this is the first restaurant in the mainland that I've been to where all of the food taste like back home (Hawai'i) and all the food taste good! There wasn't a dish where I was like only this one or these two taste good, noo, all the food tasted 'ONO, broke da mouth kine good food! If you missing the taste of the (Hawaiian) Island this is the place to go!

Excellent warm, welcoming service, too. If you need a fix of breaded teriyaki that is on par with what you find at a certain Kahului, Maui, drive-in, this is your place. Yummy mac (macaroni) salad... and authentic Hawaiian style shave are all truly ʻono. Keto and gluten free options. On this visit, I ordered the Nabeyaki Udon, which is one of my favorite dishes. I quite enjoyed it. The broth was good, the noodle delicious, and the soup packed with veggies. I also ordered the edamame. I always order edamame when I can because I love it so much and never have it outside of restaurants. This particular edamame was good--a little lacking on spice for my particular taste but still hit the spot and filled my craving for edamame. Accessibility: This restaurant is generally accessible. The seating is a mix between booths and tables. The chairs do not have arms. There are a couple of accessible parking spots, but they are limited. The lighting is decent here and should be okay. Noise is not really an issue. I have never experienced crowds though I never go during the busiest times. I cannot remember if they have accessible washrooms. There are no stairs/steps to worry about.

Ordered spring roles and calamari tempura. The calamari looked processed, tasted a bit strange. I got a lunch sushi combo and I've never tasted sushi this terrible before. The spicy tuna roll just tasted spoiled, almost made me puke. Rosauers has better sushi. Our fried rice had hair in it, just the cherry on top. If you're thinking about going here, just don't, it's not worth your time or money.
