Bare Arms is part indoor gun range, part BBQ diner, and fully unique. Even though it was close to closing, Whitney took incredible care of us. She greeted us like we were her first table of the day, not her last. Service was fast, friendly, and exactly what we needed after a long stretch on the road. The food? Legit. The pulled pork nachos were stacked high with fresh toppings and absolutely drenched in an amazing cheese sauce that deserves a fan club. We also grabbed a side of mac & cheese, rich, creamy, and just the right size. Everything came out hot and fast, which made it perfect for travelers needing a solid meal without a long wait. The vibe inside? Patriotic, quirky, and full of personality. Think vintage military posters, wood-paneled walls, and a dash of pin-up flair. It walks the line between roadside kitsch and local pride in the best way possible. We'd absolutely stop again. And just for the record--no, the waitress didn't look like the ones in the posters... but she was way cooler.

I must admit when we first saw the place we thought it might be a strip joint. But we were pleasantly surprised inside. Very patriotic themes, great for an old Marine Grunt. We were there for an early dinner so not real busy but more people came after we sat. Ashley, our terrific server, brought menus and we looked over the great selections. My wife asked for a suggestion, as she frequently does, and was told the Bombshell Salad with Grilled Chicken was the "bomb", so she ordered it. I decided on the Ribs and Shrimp Basket after spotting that on another table. While we waited I walked around and took pictures and wandered into the next door area which turned out to be a gaming room and late night bar. I admit I only glanced in, not wanting to see any "Bombshells." Shortly our food came. Her Salad was fantastic! Ashley really suggested the perfect dish for her. The chicken was grilled perfectly and Salad was chilly and crisp. My Ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and delicious, with a little heat thanks to hot sauce on the side. The Fried Shrimp was very good, just a bit more batter than I like. All in all, service was great, food was very good, ambiance was quiet and interesting, and food was very good. Check it out!

Even once we were seated the server was telling us that the kitchen was a bit backed up so that is why our food was taking a little longer. Our waitress was nice and friendly. She gave us honest opinions about the items on the menu, which is always great to have. We ordered the Meggie's Bread Sticks with Cheese as our appetizer. It was delicious, especially with the added cheese. It came with some red sauce stuff to dip the bread sticks in. The pizza we got was the 14 inch Gladiator. It had 6 slices. It was good, but a bit messy (and hot when it first came out). At the end we ordered the Backyard Hay Stack (minus the nuts). That was really good as well and we devoured it. The ambience was good.
